We enjoyed the sunset and the time before going on the boat, we enjoyed listening to the guide explaining about the lagoon and the surrounding area. The dip was lovely, felt a little unorganised in terms of how long, photos e.t.c, but still enjoyable. Upon return to the dock, again a bit unorganised as wasn’t sure how long we had after, show had started and could have done with more female changing rooms. Very pleasant evening needs a little tweaking to make it even better

Es war ein Ausflug mit dem Partyboot mit DJ. Und sehr lauter Musik. Ich hatte schon das Gefühl, dass sich die Crew viel Mühe gegeben hat, den Abend zu einem Erlebnis zu machen. Das Problem ist nicht, was uns dort geboten wurde, sondern eher die Beschreibung des Ausflugs bei TUI. Man erwartet etwas völlig anderes! Der Sonnenuntergang und das Naturschausspiel war durchaus beeindruckend, leider wurde es vor lauter Party fast zur Nebensache. Eine wahre Beschreibung des Ablaufs wäre hier sinnvoller!

Bus driver came too early to what email said the lagoon boat trip was one big waist of time all we got to see was a bucket of water only blue lights we saw was the boat lights when we arrived and was given a drink the boat team usherd us to the boat we had to leave our drink,on the boat trip it seemed like a night club with people getting drunk, the blue lights was causing concern with my wife's condition

The boat staff were very informative, and good fun. Not out long enough on the boat. We were eaten alive by mossies as had to wait quite a while until dark for the trip to start. The driver was trying to give us a guided tour whilst driving along at 100km/hr with no microphone, so missed half of it. The drive home: we had to wait for different people to join us, we were 45 mins waiting. VERY scary drive back. Nearly crashed twice, jerked, tailgating and overtaking in the dark at extreme speed.

Asked the tui rep for a trip to luminous lagoon after a really good previous visit. Expected the same, small boat, knowledgable people good service, however I was booked onto the more expensive ‘booze cruise’ visit without any explanation of what this involved, just assumed it was the same trip as before. We had 15 minutes in the lagoon, no photos despite requesting them, photographer spent ALL his time with two young girls. No real blow from the lagoon. Let down, poor experience. Waste of money

We felt this tour was over priced and the boat that took us to the lagoon looked well past its best. However the lagoon was great, the fire show was good but sadly some folk just walk right to the front and block the views for others, staff don't do anything about this.

The experience overall was good, a lot of waiting around until it went dark & time to go out on the boats. Although the actual luminous lagoon wasn't quite what we expected as far as it wasn't glowing blue & the water had to be agitated to give any form of glow, hence you had to swim in it to glow up. safety was OK by Jamaican standards but the possibility of been hit by another boat or left in the lagoon was quite high by UK standards. The fire show wasn't much at all & not really worth it.

A so called natural phenomenon is created by throwing dangerous chemicals into the lagoon and fulling people with it. Please put an immediate stop to this human hazard and environmental catastrophe. Despite the promise with original price no food or drink is offered and everything must be purchased. The boat itself is overcrowded without any safety measures in place. Very long wait to get on boat and only about 10 minutes activity when you are brought back.

Nicht zu empfehlen! Abzocke, überhaupt nicht der Beschreibung entsprechend. Man erfährt nichts über die Geschichte der Lagune. Eine regelrechte Schnellabfertigung. Haben die Tour extra über die TUI -App gebucht um sicher zu gehen, aber schade .., selbst da kann man sich nicht mehr drauf verlassen. Wir möchten bitte unser Geld zurück…Schade um die schöne Urlaubszeit…lasst euch nicht verarschen ..wir kommen nicht wieder. Beste Grüße Familie Drewes und Familie Burghardt

Our driver was on time and explained the process once we arrived in Falmouth. A nice bar/restaurant with either a rum or fruit punch. Short wait to be called for boarding. Chip (Captain) and Winston (crew) were friendly and fun & very safety conscious. Chip gave loads of information about the lagoon, life jackets given for swimmers. A great experience.

It wasn’t as bright as the pictures made out. You could see the effect and it was nice, but I think it’s a touch oversold. Maybe the really bright events are rarer, and it can be variable. However, the crew on the boat were fun, the driver of the coach was sound, and seeing the damage to the island first hand, did put a dampener on the night, for the cost to a beautiful island and its beautiful people

The lagoon was nice but not as bright as expected. been to previous lagoons much brighter. Also, the time spent in the water was roughly 15 minutes and paying that much money for such a small amount of time is a lot. Aside from that, I would recommend it to other people w/ the exception of our drive . Our driver was terrible! It seemed the only speed that he knew how to go was extra fast and we felt every bump every jump. He was awful we couldn’t even eat dinner after due to motion sickness.

Our pick up was over an hour late and due to us being picked up from a hotel we had no access too we had no access to food or drinks and had gone without any drinks for over 2 hrs due to arranging things around our pick up time. When reaching the lagoon we were dropped at the entrance and nothing was explained to us by our driver he just left us there. We didnt see the lagoon luminite as its advertised too. It was a very disappointing experience. Overall within 2 hrs we were back at our hotel.

It was a great experience and we learnt a lot about what makes the water luminous as well as why some water parts of the lagoon was warm and why some parts were cold. The men doing the tour were really funny and made the trip quite entertaining, I think one of the Captain’s names was Chip but I could be wrong. It would have been nice to have more time out there to swim and in slightly deeper waters but for non-confident swimmers or teenagers I could see this being quite ideal as you could stand.

Abholung: Bus kam mit 30 Minuten Verspätung; vor Ort mussten wir 45 Minuten auf das Boot warten; blaue Lagune gab es nicht, da man nur auf dem Meer schwimmen konnte; nach 45 Minuten war die Bootstour, im überfüllten Boot beendet; anschließend sollte man in dem Ausflugslokal zwei Stunden warten, bis zur Rückfahrt ins Hotel; der Fahrer, der uns zurück brachte, war total zugekifft und stellte ein Sicherheitsrisiko im Straßenverkehr dar; Fazit: Wir fühlten uns während der gesamten Tour verarscht!

Staff were lovely, driver was good and safe and the tour guides were lovely and helpful and gave us life jackets if we wanted one. Some people got in the water and others didn't but once in the water it felt like we were being bitten alive and that was after we covered ourselves in bug spray. We thought there would be more of a glow and it was good when you moved about loads but I don't think it was worth the $68pp we spent.

Overall it was good but perhaps a tiny bit underwhelming; we didn’t get the dinner package as our resort was all inclusive so there was quite a bit of waiting around for it to get dark and get going. It would have been better if we had understood the timings a bit more and how the excursion would run and/or be picked up later if not having the dinner package. The photographs were also a little underwhelming but better than anything on a standard phone for example so you kind of had to buy them.

Positives- driver to the lagoon from hotel was superb. Informative, safe and careful driver Beautiful location Magical Saw the sunset over the lagoon as in first boat Negatives Staff at lagoon. Rushed us to do waiver as boat was waiting for us. Rude to daughter wouldn’t allow her to use bathroom before hand. No professionak photographer on boat ( not TUIs fault) but would have made experience so much better having it captured.

More than 30mins late for the collection after being told to get there earlier due to a rescheduled earlier time. Far too long waiting around doing nothing. Should be collected a lot later. Told it was a 2-4 experience when it took over 5 1/2 hrs to get back. Lagoon experience only lasted for 30minutes of that 5 1/2 hrs. Should provide some sort of food, given the time taken until 9:30/10pm to return (from 4pm collect)

We were picked up at 6pm and taken to the venue. No one told us where to go apart from get a punch from the bar. We then sat for an hour and a half till it was time to get on the boat. After 2 minutes we arrived at swim point. We were expecting as the picture shows a blue lagoon not that we had to get in the water and swim to get a weak white glow. One of our group doesn't swim so it was a waste of money for him. We also were only on boat for 4o minutes, waste of time and money. Refund wanted.

Positives - tour guide on the boat was amazing and funny. Kept everyone engaged throughout the journey and very informative. Fire show was also amazing, get seats at the back fence. Negatives - jellyfish in the water so be careful, 2 people got stung but they do not hurt as only small. Do not let this put you off getting in as it is an amazing experience just be careful of any allergies or low pain tolerances. They have spray on board the boat to help with the stings.

Our names weren't on the list for the driver to pick up,he phoned some office who take us anywhere even though I'd shown him my booking with tui.he was the worst driver I've ever had too close to vehicles in front,too fast and took unnecessary risks with 15 passengers on who he'd never met before.name was shane and if he worked for me I'd sack him but then again he wouldn't have worked for me in the 1st place and to be honest tui haven't been thr best with booking anyway jet 2 next year!!

The driver Leroy was fab, it's a decent journey so be prepared! (From Lucea approx 1hr 20 mins each way) The tour itself was incredible, the crew and the experience was amazing and I'm so glad I did it. (If you're not prepared to swim, then you're really not going to experience the full effect - when you move in the water it 'glows') Afterwards a guy does The limbo/fire show which was enjoyable and nice way to end the eve (about 20 mins) Pick up 16:25 - drop off 22:00, so eat/plan food before!

Het was minder spectaculair als verwacht, op andere boten ging fotograaf mee, bij ons niet, dus niet echt foto’s van. Anders zekers gekocht. Op foto mooier dan in het echt. Vuurshow stelt niets voor, begint al voor je van boot bent en je hebt kunnen afdrogen. En niet goed te zien. Het is rond etenstijd maar onduidelijk of je tijd hebt om daar te eten of niet. Voor ophaal tijd konden wij niet eten en na afloop maar snel bij een “snackbar” wat gehaald. Je wist wel dat er niets bij inzat.

There was nothing luminous we nust swam I'm dark cold water.. the captain left his phone out not in a case which my husband accidentally knocked just a small drop. .my husband apologise and put phone back. The boat was in total darkness so should have been kept om his person.throuout the tour the captain kept coming over abd saying his phone was cracked..which I questioned and said that could have already been there. He made me so anxious that we got off boat straight to hotel. I want a refund

Experience definitely not like photo advertising trip. Driver was in a hurry to get to destination and I did not feel safe. He rushed there but we then had a 90 minute wait before boarding so what was the point?

First it was very frustrating to go at 5 pm only to get there at 5:30 and be told to “ hang out until the excursion at 7 pm . They want you to buy drinks and food. Not what we went for. There were so many people, lots of boats, the captain Vincent was great, but you had too many people in a shallow area stirring up mud so you couldn’t really see much of anything. We moved further away from the group and were able to see the lights a bit. A waste of time and money

This was the excursion my wife wanted to do the most. On our 33td Anniversary we went to the Luminous Lagoon and were disappointed. We wanted to swim in the luminous blue water and instead it was dull and muddy. Total waste of money and time. We weren't even on the driver's list to he picked up. He was awesome and called someone to see what's up. Then took us. Plus we weren't on the main list at the lagoon.

The seatbelts on the transport did not work. The boats were crowded and my 6 year old son was not offered on when boarding only if he entered the water. It was not out on by the staff and I hadn't fitted it properly or it was too large. Thankfully he is a good swimmer.

All experience was fantastic, the luminous water didn't show that night we went , but it was still amazing to swim in the lagoon , we saw the colour when the boat started and the propeller lite it up , Nile Mile was amazing experience waited a long time to go there . Duns falls was challenging , stunning and wow the place is on another level, I conquered the falls to the top withered help off the guide, he made me feel very safe, he does a fantastic job . The food on trips was great.

Driver friendly still drove to fast. Boat ride 45 mins and saw no blue from boat husband went in he could see the blue and if he moved the water fast enough then you might see a bit of blue nothing like pictures at all overall disappointing.fire show good but again about 15 mins so all in all about 1 hour off bus for a 5 hour round tour. Would not recommend this trip.

Erst wurden wir mit einem Bus abgeholt und zu der Örtlichkeit gebracht. Dort mussten wir warten, bis wir überhaupt auf das Boot konnten. Dort gab es erst einmal keine vernünftigen Auskünfte. Alle unfreundlich. Es gab kein Begrüßungsgetränk. Wenn man dennoch etwas trinken wollte, musste man überteuert sich selbst was holen. Preis pro Getränk lag bei ca. 10 Dollar. Auf dem Boot angekommen, saß man wie Sardellen nebeneinander. Viel zu überfüllt. Der Bootsmann war total drüber. NICHT zu empfehlen.

This was a fascinating experience. The driver was very funny and informative. We did stop for a rum tasting before we got to the lagoon, do not buy anything as everything is massively overpriced. When we arrived he explained everything thoroughly and told us where to go and how we would board the boats. The lagoon is not very deep, about 6 feet max, and the bottom is soft mud. Swimming in different places produced the best effect. The fire show after was also brilliant, drinks are expensive tho.

Loved the trip, great experience! Staff were incredible from pick up, boat boarding, swimming, pictures, safety briefs & best way to enjoy the evening. Received a free drink on arrival & options to purchase pics at the end. There was a fire show at the end which wasn’t listed as included but was fun & expected it from the reviews. Really amazing experience.. you have to try it. We had a really excellent mini bus driver who was efficient and safe. We left for return in good time to allow us to get back for supper in the buffet. The effect of the plankton were amazing. Only downside..they take pictures and want £40 for 1 digital shot transferred to you phone which is blessed expensive for what it is We tried to negotiate but no deal. Nevertheless was great fun

I enjoyed the experience on the boat. The captain and staff were entertaining and informative. We watched a wonderful sunset and had an opportunity to swim in the shallow, dark and very warm water of the lagoon. We had optional lifebelts and a trained lifeguard. Lots of strong rum punch, I opted out after sipping as I wanted to swim and keep a clear head. They created a parry atmosphere. I didn't see any fish but we did get the luminescent effect as we moved our limbs. Driver was terrible

It was an experience I’ll never forget. The boat crew made the passengers safe. They explained the Luminous Lagoon and offered life vests and was very patient with the passengers. I’ll be back and I highly recommend this tour. Boris- the agent was vey friendly and helpful in assisting me with my tour selection.

Bei der Hinfahrt hatte unser Bus einen Plattfuß. Es kamen Ersatzwägen für den Personentransport. Man fährt zwar ab Negril ca. 2 Stunden, aber das lohnt sich sowas von!!! Unbeschreiblich mystisch wenn das Wasser um einen herum leuchtet. Es ist eimalig!!! Bitte nicht bei Vollmond (zu **********) oder tagelange Bewölkung am Tag.

Lagoon did not light up and it was after booking that we found out that the lagoon is only luminous at certain times of the year! The show after was only for about 10mins and then we were back on the bus. Definitely not worth the money and wouldn’t recommend going.

Als Europäer kommt man nicht jeden Tag mit Mikroorganismen in Berührung, die Licht aussenden, wenn sich das Wasser bewegt. Leider geht alles zu schnell und Sie haben kaum Zeit, es zu genießen, als Sie aufgefordert werden, wieder auf das Boot zu steigen. Fotos mit dem Handy zu machen funktioniert nicht, also ist ein Fotograf an Bord, der die Fotos für 40 Dollar verkauft.

De Captain brengt het wel leuk, in het water zwemmen is wel erg cool om het water neon blauw te zien oplichten, warm water. De limboshow is ook leuk, het was wel een beetje onduidelijk wanneer het begon. De combi tour (Margaret Bae Rafting en Luminous Lagoon) met dinner wordt helaas vaak geannuleerd, i.v.m. te weinig animo. Je kan apart boeken maar zonder dinner, Luminous Lagoon start in de vooravond rond 17.45 uur i.v.m. de zonsondergang/zwemmen. Geen tourguide, zaten met z'n 2'en in de bus.

It’s ok, and by ok I mean it’s not really what’s advertised. Now I really enjoyed the experience of swimming out in a lake which has hot and cold water meeting at night whilst looking at the stars, but unfortunately the luminous of the lake is rare to come by and not what it use to be. Staff superb, facilities superb, but if you’re after the lights, you just don’t get them anymore

The driver who picked us did not exchange more than 5 words with the group. The time spent waiting for the ‘experience’ was a total waste of time. The experience itself was priceless. Though I felt cheated by the boatsman who laughed away my concerns of feeling stings/being nettled …. Afterwards he admitted to Moon jellyfish being present and offered vinegar spray. He claimed no-one would have entered if we would have known about the jellyfish. Did not appreciate this.

Die Tour war gut organisiert, der Guide sehr gut gelaunt und das Leuchten in der Lagune ist definitiv ein Erlebnis wert. Das kann ich auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen! Allerdings hatte man einiges an Wartezeit zu überbrücken, da das Leuchten nur bei Dunkelheit zur Geltung kommt und wir bereits nachmittags vom Hotel abgeholt wurden. Wir waren ca 4 Std unterwegs, davon ist man jedoch nur ca eine halbe Std im Wasser zum in der Lagune schwimmen.

WOW. An experience you’ll never forget. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip from start to finish. The bar and restaurant serve lovely food and drinks. The guide on the boat was funny and knowledgeable and the swimming was amazing. To see the water glowing as you swim is spectacular. A must go on trip.

The trip itself was great, guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable and the lagoon was a magical experience. However tui need to be more realistic with what they are advertising. This trip is advertised as 2-4 hours, it was 7.5 hours in total. 5 hours of this was driving from negril and back. The drive alone is far longer than the entire advertised trip time.

It was a really fun experience, the driver was super cool and funny, we were able to stop at a gift shop called rainbow stores i think in falmouth and they had everything you could think of. The restaurant at the lagoon was very good and lively, they offered a free welcome rum punch. We waited til dark before we set sail and the captain was super fun, only issue was the lagoon was a little murky so you could barely see the glow, otherwise great experience

The traveling there and back was awfull, other passengers very rude and intimidating to us and bus driver, we should of been brought back after the boat trip, but the other passengers decided to order food and eat at the restaraunt, the bus man couldnt get them on the bus because they refused, so we had to wait over 90 minutes then they did nothing but moan and shout at the driver, we got back to hotel and was unable to get food as it was 10 pm , told tui rep, still waiting for our money back

Sadly the trip was spoiled by people on the boat merely not listening to the instructions given by the guide and captain of the boat. The evening entertainment at the end was poorly organised as it wasn't announced it was actually starting further up the jetty and was mediocre.

The outcome of this trip rests solely on if people go into the lagoon to swim. You will not see the effects unless this happens. On our boat approx 10 people went in and so not much to see. Pictures are also taken by crew with 'night camera' as Flash photography doesn't work. Pictures need to be paid for. Visitors should be aware of these facts before booking. Limbo/fire dancing was brilliant - saved the day.

Tui should explain that the trip doesn't leave until its dark so you will have to wait at jetty bar and restaurant for quite some time beforehand which although the venue is nice we didn't no if we had time to order food beforehand .. bit chaotic as no clear communication. Charge more for the trip and include a meal or at least advise of waiting time first. Sadly didn't see much but hey no control on nature but staff were friendly and entertaining

Picked up at 5pm arriving at the lagoon at 6pm and the lagoon was very busy we weren't in the first group of boats sent out and sat until 7.30 waiting to board which dragged a little. The experience is amazing and something you must do and see for yourself highly recommend swimming you will not forget this. We returned to the hotel at 10pm which was later than intended due to being placed into the second group of boats sent out. Would have been perfect if we had spent less time waiting.

Ab Negril würde ich den Ausflug nicht empfehlen. Der Weg dauert ca 2 Stunden pro Strecke. Am Ziel angekommen, muss man noch etwa eine Stunde auf den Einbruch der Dunkelheit warten. Im Wasser ist man nur 30 Minuten. 4 Stunden Fahrt lohnen sich nicht. Wenn man ein Hotel in der Nähe hat, dann lohnt sich der Ausflug schon eher.

The luminous lagoon is a must to experience…the blue in the water is beautiful and the diamond effect when you cover yourself in water is wonderful - my only criticism is the staff on the boat come across as rude and very inpatient - you only have about 30 minutes in the water and the chap that takes the photos is very shouty - then you pay $40 for the photos that he then emails or air drops them into your phone…when you then look at them they aren’t as good as when he showed you them!!!!

Rushed through to boat after being on coach for over an hour stuck in traffic. Everyone should be made to wear a life jacket, it's very dark and there was a current. No time for drink and missed limbo show. Water did not glow. Did not realise one side of boat was for professional photos so missed opportunity, unfortunately.

This was a brilliant trip that we were really looking forward to. The transfer from the hotel was quite quick and when we arrived everything was explained to us as to what to do. The trip on the boat was well organised but I would say if you aren’t a strong swimmer like myself then definitely take the life belt as you’re in the water for about 20 minutes.

Very disorganised given number but this didn’t seem to matter as when the boat turned up it turned into a free for all to get on the boats. Over crowded and a lot of waiting for it to get dark. Was told not to take our own photos as they wanted to sell you there own expensive photo what are enhanced. In the water the glow is very dim due to light pollution from the coast. Not as you would expect from the photo shown in the trip photo. We took our own photos which we enhanced to get the effect

The Lagoon itself was amazing - the only downside was that there was entertainment provided afterwards in the form of a limbo show, but the process of purchasing photos after the event was so slow and seemingly disorganised that by the time we had managed to get our photos, the entertainment had finished, and we were being chased to get back on the coach!

The boat trip and swimming experience was awesome and the boat crew were so helpful and informative. The fire show afterwards was also The down side was our mini bus driver who had an attitude and aggressive driving with tailgating and constant use of the horn and headlight to force other road users to pull over. He also played his music so load that we passengers couldn’t hold a conversation without raising our voices. There was also no explanation on the procedures once we arrived on site.

Was such surreal experience loved everything! Driver was cool and told good story about annie palmer. Cool running’s was also playing on the way back was such a wholesome trip. Felt super safe on the boat and in the water the restaurant / bar area was lovely at the lagoon too. With a fire show. The drive wasn’t long either 30 mins from riu palace Montego bay. Highly recommended it’s a MUST! to do whilst in Jamaica!

This is one of the best experiences I have done, the water is incredible! The trip is sold as an ‘evening cruise’ when in reality it is a 30-45min boat trip that takes you about 20m from the dock. Theres a lot of time wasting on the trip. You get picked up around 5pm and then get taken to a gift shop and then to a bar where the boats go from. You spend more time in the gift shop than on the boat. But I would definitely recommend this trip.

The most magical experience! Very worth the money and the journey there from Negril. The water was absolutely amazing and photos don’t do it justice. Everything was very well organised, the guides on the boat were great fun and informative. It was a worry that we had to wait until the day to see if it was going to go ahead due to minimum numbers, when the excursion company in the hotel said they didn’t need one but luckily it went ahead!

Loved the fact we got there early and instead of hoping we'd spend money at the bar they pulled a boat early, got us out on the water for sun set told us about the areas and it's history which made sure we were the first in the water after dark, giving us less crowded and a better experience. There's no food included which was confusing but we made it back for our buffet

A truly unique experience which we booked towards the end of our holiday in Jamaica. The water was so warm for the evening. The staff were such a great laugh. The only inconvenient part was the waiting around before being able to set sail out to the lagoon. However we did get the chance to chat with others also going on the trip .

Favorite tourist attraction from our time here, better than Dunn’s river falls. You have to get in the water though and it’s more fun if you wear a life jacket. Take bug spray. Pictures from the iPhone 14 Pro only worked with night mode on, they weren’t perfect but you can see the blue glow.

The Lagoon trip was everything I wanted it to be. We were picked up in a small mini van and only picked up two more people. It’s 2hrs from Negril, we stopped for a bathroom break but it was really disguising a shopping stop (not advertised, expected or wanted). Very well organised at the lagoon, you wait for dark 7pm in May and board the boat. They explain the bioluminescence and then you get to swim. We were in the water for 20mins approx and didn’t feel rushed at all. Best trip ever

There was lack of information about the trip, transfer left far too early as trip to the Lagoon wasn't until gone 7pm, transfer picked up just after 5, unfortunately there was a lot of waiting around, we got bitten too by mosquito's. The Lagoon wasn't what I expected either, I thought it was in a small cove or cave but it's not, guide's were brilliant and very informative.

You need to get the water to splash for it to glow. This wasn’t explained in the description. It was a good night though the photos taken by the company were expensive and not very organised when wanting to view them. The prices weren’t displayed anywhere either. However, the experience was great and I would recommend it. The guide on the bus was very good and the guys on the boat were really helpful, especially as I have mobility issues and walk with a stick.

The pick up and transfer was quick and the driver was knowledgeable about the area which made the time go faster. The food when we got to the restaurant which backs onto the cruise was great tasting and the service was lovely. The cruise was one of the most amazing experiences we've ever done in our life - it's so warm in the water and the light up water was incredible and it was amazing to swim in the dark! The captain was so lovely as was the life guard definitely would encourage people to go!

So our bus group got split up, which meant we were all on different time boats and unfortunately we were the last boat back . Meaning everyone else was stuck waiting on the bus for us. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die Angabe von der Zeit nicht stimmt. Wir waren in Negri und es hat 2 Stunden Autofahrt gedauert bis wir dort waren. Dort war es ungefähr 1,5 Stunden Aufenthalt. Und dann wieder 2 Stunden zurück. Dort kann man auch essen und trinken. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass man dort vom Boot auch runter kann und schwimmen. Zum Schluss gibt es noch eine Feuerparty. Also richtig extrem sehenswert. Und für diesen Preis unschlagbar. Muss man unbedingt gemacht haben.

Initially upon arrival we weren't given much direction about what we needed to do or where to go or how the grouping onto boats worked, which was confusing due to there being around 300+ people there, however once our wrist band numbers where called & we were on the boat the guides & captain were brilliant & entertaining! A must do!

Nice location with a good vibe in the restaurant/bar area. Rum punch on arrival, regular updates on boat departure times. Knowledgeable staff on boat and then when you get in the water, the experience is absolutely amazing, seeing the water glow blue as you swim around is awesome. One thing to be aware of, the photos are quite pricey! But then it's probably a once in a lifetime experience....

Had some bad TUI experiences this year. However this was really good. Picked up on time, fun guide. Liked the venue and bar. Good organisation. Toilets though had no running water all taps broken. Good fun out on the water and safety paramount. Not as luminous as photos suggest but still fun and yes when you move in the water it glows a bit. Little show after good. Take away food available at extra cost. Photos too pricey and badly organised. Good value I'd do it again.

Absolutely loved the experience. It was so interesting, and so cool to be in the lagoon with its hot and cold water! Got some amazing photos too. The only hindrance to the trip was spending about 30 minutes in a local shop where everything was ludicrously overpriced before we went to the lagoon.

The guide was touting for business. There was no food available other than buying it at the destination. This needs looking into as we were picked up at 3.30pm. We were not told we could buy food there so not enough money was taken. The captain of the boat was excellent with a lot of crowd participation made the boat ride great.

Ablauf schlecht, unnötig lange Wartezeit vor der Bootsfahrt. Die kurze Bootsfahrt und die Lagune selbst sind super und ein echtes ungewöhnliches Natur-Erlebnis. „Die Limbo-Show“ ist ein Feuerschlucker, der gut 5 min etwas macht, während man die Fotos von der Bootsfahrt kaufen kann. Das eigentliche Ziel - die leuchtende Lagune besser mit dem Taxi anfahren und gut- das ist keine „Tour“ sondern ein Erlebnis mit Transport und da stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht.

Lange Anfahrt, 1 1/2h, Warten am Bootsanleger bis zur Dunkelheit. Dann eng an eng auf die Boote. Das Leuchten des Wassers bei Bewegung war schön anzusehen, man konnte auch ins Wasser, um es hautnah zu erleben. Ob Kosten und Aufwand gerechtfertigt sind muss jeder für sich entscheiden, wir hatten mehr erwartet.

It was a truly wonderful experience that we will remember for ever. The fire show was very poor really and difficult to see for most. Not sure it really should have been part of the experience. We got picked up from the hotel then taken to a shop in the middle of nowhere, where you were encouraged to buy at 50% off, but the prices were 50% dearer ha Got to the luminous cruise place, where we had to wait in the bar area for an hour before the 7:30 pm cruise. once aboard and jumping in - it was amazing! they take photos of you and will air drop these to your phone at a cost of 40USD!!! We haggled and paid 20USD for him to take a second to airdrop these. I would still recommend this trip.

We waited 50 minutes for our pick up to arrive. This was supposed to be 5pm but was 5:50pm instead. As the excursion is advertised as a cruise we did not expect to spend longer travelling to the area and waiting for the boat than we did on it. TUI really mis sold this according to the description. Following the short while out in the lagoon we returned to the vehicle where the driver had been smoking substances and white boxed the entire van.

+ luminous lagoon op zich is fantastisch - bus was te laat en wachte dan ook nog op andere toeristen in andere hotels die veel te laat waren - niet verzekerd: we hebben moeten tekenen dat alles op eigen risico is, wat ondermaats is , je zou toch verzekering verwachten - heel druk - 40€ om foto’s te krijgen???, zelf flash gebruiken mag niet, terwijl de fotograaf van dienst dit wel deed natuurlijk - opnieuw lang moeten wachten om te vertrekken op een groepje van ander hotel.

The Luminous Lagoon was great, with faultless service from the staff, I couldn't fault it. This was however let down by the bus journey which was horrific, the bus felt like it had no suspension and was knocking, whining and banging for the 2 hours there and the same coming back. The actual experience at the luminous lagoon was absolutely amazing, one of the best parts of our honeymoon. Totally amazing experience we’ll probably never do again! Shame the journey there took 3hours as they decided we needed to turn around to pick two extra people up after driving for 25minutes already. Traffic was then really bad and we had quite a storm on the drive there too (obviously this can’t be helped) which slowed the drive down more

Negatives - 1 It takes a long time to get to the destination. 2 The food avaliable is expensive and felt like a dilemma as I had already missed one of my meals from my inclusive resort in order to take the trip. Could the resort provide packed lunches perhaps? Positives 1 All drivers and staff were good. Good music and air conditioning. 2 The experience of swimming in the lagoon made up for the long travel. 3 The fire dance free entertainment provided by the venue was a welcome surprise.

This was a great excursion to end our trip - really magical and the best place in the world to see bioluminescence at work! Dayveon was a brilliant and hilarious driver. The logistics of the boat trip weren't great, however - some of the groups weren't told we'd be called by wristband number and there were different boat times and wristband colours. Simple to tell people, but it just didn't happen in advance so you had groups clambering over each other. Would be nicer if fewer guests per boat!

We understandbly picked up other guests from their hotels, but the guests didnt have their water shoes. The guide recommended they go back to their room for them. The hotels in Jamaica are massive, so we were sometimes waiting up ton20mins for others to go back to their rooms. You stop off at a gift shop- itinerary doesnt say this.. the gift shop claims to be 50% off… it’s clearly a tourist trap. The actual Blue Lagoon was amazing, id recommended making your own way there

Das Baden in der Lagune war ein super Erlebnis! Was nicht so schön war: Wir wurden früh abgeholt und mussten noch 2 Stunden vor Ort warten, bis es wirklich dunkel wurde. Man kann in dem Restaurant essen, in dem man wartet bis es dunkel wird. Eine Limbo-Show gab es leider nicht. Vielleicht erst später. Unser Fahrer zur Lagune ist wie ein Bekloppter gefahren.

Guide Davy aka Rastaman was really good. Funny and informative we learned a lot about the island from him on the journey to the location. He helped us through to get our tickets and promptly brought us home when we were ready explaining everything clearly from start to finish. Would like to have been told how long it took to get to the activity location from the hotel during booking. Was almost 2hrs to get there which we were not expecting. Trip time said Max 4 hours and we were gone nearly 6. We didn’t eat beforehand and missed dinner on returning to the hotel at 10pm. You could buy food at the trip destination but this was over priced. The lagoon itself was beautiful and a definite must see. A longer trip round the lagoon would be an improvement but still a thoroughly enjoyable trip!

They pick you up super early before dark - this is to entice you to buy food and drink before hand, you have to wait until dark before setting off on a boat with about 30 other people. It takes about 2 mins on the boat which I thought took you to a lagoon however, it is just the river, it’s pitch black into which you jump from the boat and have about 5/10 swimming in then return. Not worth the money

Die leuchtende Lagune war sehr schön aber die Anfahrt war aufgrund überwiegend amerikanischer Gäste eine Katastrophe. Es wurde ein nicht abgesprochener Stop an einem Fastfood Restaurant eingelegt, während alle anderen Mitreisende im bus warten mussten. Die Anreise dauerte dadurch alleine 3,5 Stunden. Ebenfalls zu erwähnen ist, dass die in der TUI App angegebene Dauer von 2-4 Stunden sich somit verdoppelt hat. Wir waren letztendlich um 23:00 Uhr am Hotel zurück, welches wir um 15:30 Uhr verlassen haben. Wir empfehlen den Trip mit einem Ausflug zu dem Martha Brae Bambus Rafting zu kombinieren da dies ganz in der Nähe ist und somit nur 1 x die doch recht lange Anfahrt (unter normalen Umständen ca. 2 Stunden) aus Negril anfällt.

The experience itself was great. What I didn’t like was that I didn’t see any additional value booking it through TUI. You subcontracted the transfer to a local bus company and subcontracted the boat trip to another company. I could have gone to them direct. I have no idea what TUI “added” to the trip as there was no obvious input other that collecting our cash (and even that was done remotely through your app). Also didn’t like the fact that the tour was set up so that we ended up hanging around at the bar on the dock for over an hour prior to the actual experience. If that had been explained, we’d have arranged to have dinner there as we had a hungry 6 year old with us but didn’t realise we’d be left hanging around for long enough to order a meal.

The minibus driver made a detour to a gift shop before going directly to the lagoon to try and do the hard sell and said we would leave for the lagoon after 20 mins. We had also experienced this on the transfer to the Hotel (when there’s no TUI rep on board it seems this is what they try). When we arrived at the lagoon we were supposed to get a free rum punch but because it’s served from the bar they only want to serve people who are paying for beers etc. we had to stand and insist we got our free one.

As with the other tours we’ve been on whilst in Jamaica, whilst organised through TUI, this was not a TUI experience. There was no TUI representative on hand and the tour was provided by a local company. The bus driver did do the usual thing, which was to take us to a shop that was off the beaten track for us to try the local rum (aka hopefully purchase lots of souvenirs from a family-run shop), but we were at the boat near Falmouth within 20 mins from the Bahia Principe hotel in Runaway Bay. The luminous lagoon is an amazing experience - life jackets are provided for those who want them and the water in the lagoon is not cold. The water can be accessed by jumping in off the boat or via stairs and then the magical waters come to life with your movement. You are in the water for 30 mins and when back in dry land probably spend another 30 mins waiting for photos if you e purchased them off of the boat photographer. That said, it’s an amazing experience and if you’re lucky enough to visit on a cloudless evening, the stars are great too.

Awful experience due to bus load of drunks shouting and swearing. Also no safety on boat, we’re not given life jackets despite boat moving fast in dark around other boats. No mention of needing to take money which was needed due to time spent in bar and restaurant

The trip was one of the best ones we did. The fire eater was great. The only problem I would say to this trip and the other TUI trips is taking us to souvenir shops on every trip. It spoilt the experience with it being forced on us

You are picked up too early to spend money on the bar only on boat for about 30 mins. Pictures are too expensive to purchase 40usd. The toilet faculties and changing area very bad over flowing toilets very unclean

We had a fantastic time! On arrival we had fruit punch at the bar (complimentary), you could also buy more drinks or food! After this, we watched the limbo and fire show, which was incredible! The lagoon was breathtaking ?? we hopped out of the boat and swam around for ages admiring the water! I would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Felt there was a need to rush off due to having to leave when other members of the trip did. Luminous lagoon is amazing but more worth it if you are willing to get in which we didn't due to the time of day but still an enjoyable evening.

I'm not a confident swimmer, but I managed to experience with the aid of a life jacket to swim in the lagoon with my daughter. I can't believe that I did that especially as I had a minor panic attack when I realised I was swimming in open water and I couldn't feel the bottom. Staff gave practical advice on how to swim. The guide was informative and I loved his factual information and extra about patois. My only disappointment was the chap who took our photo tried to over charge me for taking my photo at 40USD I thought was over priced and its the assumption that being a foreigner that we are all affluent, but apart from that it was good. The driver was a friendly, courteous and professional and I felt safe with his driving. I would recommend this experience. It is reasonable priced and suited my already limited budget.

This was an amazing excursion. The transport was on time and the journey to the boat was around half an hour from riu in Montego Bay. When we arrive we were welcomed with a complimentary drink and given clear instructions what happened next. We had time for a drink, some entertainment was provided, limbo and fire breathing. After that we got on the boat. It was very dark. Only get on in swim wear if ur going in and take a towel. There is no changing or sting room on the boat. Swimming in the lagoon was amazing, it glistening so much. There was a photographer who took great photos. They were 40 dollars more. Worth all the money. One of the better excursions.

Konoko falls is in a beautiful setting with very informative and helpful guides . The climb up the falls is not too difficult and is much quieter than some of the others in the area .Lunch was included but there wasn't a vegan option , so both myself and my husband didn't have any food all day although the rest of the group enjoyed the meal The Blue Hole was a little more challenging with a jump into a waterfall and a swing into the water , which is really fast flowing . Great for thrill seekers but i would not recommend for anyone who is nervous of water or heights or for young children . The guide was great , he gave us life jackets and encouraged us to do the jump in our own time The Driver and guide stayed with us for the whole day and gave us lots of intersting information about Jamaica

Swimming in the lagoon was good but due to it been and raining at the time lagoon wasn't as bright. Max time on lagoon is only 45min. Worth a trip but don't need to do this again.

Our driver was so friendly and knowledgeable! Was only 20 mins from our hotel. We also got to stop at a gift shop and try some flavoured rum. We loved the experience very unique and memorable. The entertainment at the excursion was amazing too! 10/10

It was amazing! I had such a fun time! Guide was very good at explaining about the culture of the blue lagoon! Eat beforehand as you will want to watch the limbo and fire water afterwards, it was amazing!

The overall experience was amazing, but we only had around 15 minutes in the lagoon which was the key selling point for this excursion. We travelled a total of 2 hours in total for 15 minutes to experience the lagoon.

Great driver who told us lots about Montego Bay and Jamaica on the way. Would have been helpful to know we were going to a restaurant beforehand (wasn’t clear), we would have brought more money! Fantastic experience, amazing natural phenomenon and our boat captain was very entertaining!

One of the less expensive excursions on the list and good value for money, especially if you're a swimmer and can take advantage of the opportunity to swim in the lake. Tour guides/boat crews are very friendly and helpful.
