Did not get to go as planned. Wasted 2 hrs getting prepared and also waiting for pick up, only to be told that i was sent a cancellation message which I did not get until the Tui rep checked my phone for the message. The WiFi at the hotel is totally rubbish, hence why I did not get the message. The tui rep has booked myself and my partner for next Thursday. Here's hoping that this trip goes ahead.

Rafting down the river was very relaxing really enjoyed it, Then onto the lagoon , had a lovely jerk chicken meal and set off on the boat to see the luminous lagoon, which if you can swim ,but if unsteady on your feet hard to climb up the steps to get back on the boat. so disappointed went all the way for the experience and could not do it.The trip from Negril is approx. 2.5 / 3 hrs to get there, but took longer to get back

The rafting experience was very peaceful and enjoyable. We also loved the luminous lagoon and were really impressed by how much the water lit up. However the waiting time after dinner and before the boat was ridiculously long and during this time our guide gave us no information as to what was going on and was more interested in chatting to her friend.

De raft trip was leuk, ze moeten alleen nieuwe zwemvesten. Deze zijn heel oncomfortabel maar kapitein was too. Luminous lagoon hadden we iemand die onwel werd waardoor we terug moesten (teveel alcohol) daarna super ervaring zwemmen met lichtgevende handen en voeten. Fotos laten maken maar die zijn absurd duur! Tip maak zelf videos en foto’s

Was weer een schitterende ervaring. Jammer dat de gids alleen maar Engels sprak en niet de tijd nam om het ons iets duidelijker uit te leggen. Had alleen maar oog voor twee beschonken dames die al haar energie opeisten. Wij gingen dus maar achter de groep aan. En ze praatte dus veel te snel om alles te begrijpen.

officiële klacht ingediend dat de Tour beschrijving niet overeenkomt met het geleverde. Gids vooral met zichzelf bezig,bleef rustig toen wij en nog drie andere stellen beklag deden over de tour uitvoering maar zei dat ze geen verantwoordelijkheid kon dragen voor wat TUI beloofd, zij was van Caribean world tours.10 en een half uur onderweg waarvan ruim 6 uur in de bus en 2 aan het wachten op een boottocht zonder een activiteit Eten was matig, stops gericht op souvenierwinkels ipv cultuur

Flosstour war schön, der Floßfahrer sehr nett, das luminöse Wasser toll, das Essen OK, Guide und Fahrer sehr nett. Das Zeitmanagement war garnicht gut. Man hätte vorher informiert werden müssen, dass zwischen Essen und Bootstour 2 Stunden Wartezeit sind, bzw hätte die Wartezeit durch Infos über die Insel oder ein anderes Programm gefüllt werden können. Preis zur Leistung etwas überzogen.

The tours were amazing, and we love love loved! Swimming in the luminous lake! Sadly The meal left a lot to be desired and the tour guide rushed us at the end when we were meant to be able to watch the fire show, but overall it was well worth doing the trip!

Disliked being charged $7 for each rum drink and being goaded by the bar man to purchase more. At each stop it felylt as if someone wanted money off you. The river guide Never 118 was great, we felt safe, even with a disability, and he was good fun. The photos were also good, and priced ok. $10 The luminous lagoon was excellent, and the fire show portion we saw good, the meal was also nice. Our guide could have spoken louder on the bus though. Driver was good. Good experience.

Man hätte erwähnen können das 5std Busfahrt dazu gehören. Der Guide war mehr mit sich selbst beschäftigt, haben 90min. auf das Boot gewartet ohne irgendwelche Infos. Nach der Bootsfahrt saß sie bei Bekannten am Tisch und hat uns nicht beachtet. Eine halbe Stunde später fing sie an alle zu suchen. Wir waren erst um 22.15 Uhr zurück . Ansonsten war die Tour gut. The guide with us for the day was super knowledgeable and being local was able to tell us the history of the island from a native which meant we learned about some things not natives wouldn’t have known. The guide at the raft experience had over 40 year experience and sang told stories and explained what we were seeing throughout the whole trip

Utför Martha Brae kändes som som man förlorade skönheten av att färdas i en djungel med för hög fart. Vi som för många sedan varit där och gjort samma färd men betydligt långsammare. Båtturen helt ok med upplevelsen. Maten däremot negativt. Hemfärden på liv och död, trafiken är inte som i Sverige. Man behöver inte hålla den höga hastigheten

Fantastische reisleidster Viviane en chauffeur Robert namen ons de hele dag mee op een onderhoudende en interessante tour door oost en noord Jamaica. Loved the whole experience. Learnt so much about Jamaican life which was very interesting. The bamboo rafting was such a relaxing time with our guide on the raft being so friendly and helpful. Both my friend and myself have arthritic knees but we’re still able to get on and off the raft. The food was lovely, be weary of the rum punch as it can be lethal😂. The final boat trip to the luminous lagoon was the best experience ever. Floating in the water looking up at the stars. Truly amazing.

Driver and guide asked for tips, captain on river asked for tip, boat driver asked for tip and fire eater asked for tip, it was ridiculous! Enjoyed Martha brae experience but captain didn’t really speak very much. Rep from Tui said no insects at lagoon - we all got bitten by insects. Lagoon is full of thick mud not good to swim in. Food at lagoon was good and fire eater was excellent. Lots of standing around waiting for boat trip.

Rafting was good. The food was really bad uncooked chicken with blood present. Returned the food 3 times in the end everyone gave up and everyone left their food salmonella potential!! We were left on the bus for nearly 3 hours waiting for the boat trip. Eventually got on the boat and saw nothing no swimming!! no glow from the bay we all were cold and annoyed and wanted to get back to our hotels. What a rip off!!!

The vehicle had really seen better days with the backs of seats coming away and handles missing. The highlight was our guide, Viviene who gave us more information about Jamaica in the first half hour than the other guides did in 2 x full day trips. She made the whole experience informative and enjoyable. The luminous lagoon is an experience not to be missing. We're back next year and will book again.

Martha Brae rafting was a pleasurable experience. However, the guide trying push a foot scrub & his carved wares whilst on the raft too much. Especially given we were told that we needed no money! Also, the raft guide picked up the pace once we declined his offerings. Luminous Lagoon, total waste of money & time! Too much waiting around, luminous water not as portrayed hardly glowed. Dinner served undercooked & could not leave until after a fire show.

Martha Brae cruise on the bamboo boat was phenomenal, our captain Franklin was lovely. It’s a very long journey from Lucea and even further from Negril which makes it a long a long day! Luminous lagoon was good, food not the best and drinks very expensive. We got to see the glowing though which I know doesn’t always happen so we were lucky.

Der Bus war unbequem und schlecht gewartet. Die Straßen voller Schlaglöcher. Der guide sprach teilweise unverständliches Englisch und war insgesamt wenig interessiert an der Gruppe. Kaum Informationen über Land und Leute. Das Rafting war gut organisiert und ein schönes Erlebnis. Es gab lange Wartezeit zwischen den Programmpunkten. Luminous lagoon entsprach gar nicht den Versprechungen. Insgesamt zu viele unbequeme Kilometer für wenig Spaß!

Der Ausflug war sehr schön und unsere Reiseleiterin war so mega toll. Eine sehr nette und herzliche Frau. Die Floßfahrt ist ein tolles Erlebnis. Würden wir wieder buchen, obwohl die Preise schon sehr hoch sind, wir haben allerdings festgestellt, dass alles, egal was, teuer ist.

Der Ausflug insgesamt ist zu empfehlen. Es ist nur schade das das Essen etwas dürftig war und Getränke extra nachbestellt werden mussten. Alkoholische Getränke sollten extra sein, aber alkoholfrei müsste doch mitbei sein.

Het bamboe raften was een leuke ervaring. Ondanks het slechte weer. De stuurman jimmie maakte voor ons een hoop goed De blue lagoon hadden we meer van verwacht. Het water lichtte inderdaad iets op, maar niet zo spectaculair als ons is voorgespiegeld. De heenreis zou 45 minuten duren, maar door het ophalen van andere mensen hebben we ruim 2 uur in de bus gezeten. Dit viel ons erg tegen. Vind de prijs hoog voor hetgeen wat je ervoor terug krijgt.

Eerst een half uur staan wachten zonder door te krijgen dat de tijd is aangepast. Uiteindelijk zelf maar naar Tui gelopen en toen werd er wat lakoniek gereageerd dat er een melding was gestuurd via de app. Samen de app doorlopen maar was niks van te zien. Daarna door naar bamboorafting. Dit was prima. Toen door naar het eten. Dit was waardeloos. Eten was zeer matig en hier hebben wij ruim 2 uur ! moeten wachten tot we de boot op mochten.

Zeer leuk om met het bamboovlot op de rivier te raften. De captain gaf onderweg ook nog extra uitleg over Jamaica en leerde ons wat patwa. Onderweg staan er verkopers maar ze blijven even vriendelijk als je niets wilt kopen. Zwemmen in de lagoon was ook een bijzondere ervaring die je met je eigen ogen moet gezien hebben. De zonsondergang en vuurshow was een mooie plus!

Only thing that could be improved is the food! Paula and Desmond our tour guide/ driver were great. Becky from TUI was fabulous in helping us arrange and book the tour, and checked in to see if we enjoyed it too - nice touch! It is a long day, with lots of time on the coach, some people might prefer if the trip could be broken up with a stop.

Our tour guide & driver were brilliant - We were taught about the history of the island and about the culture and people in Jamaica. It was great to see how passionate and proud they were to be Jamaican. Very friendly and fun. The whole trip was great - the guides at the location were brilliant too!

There was a mix up with the numbers at Matha Brae leaving us waiting nearly 40 minutes before boarding our rafts. A clerical error somewhere. One person was close to being told they would not be able to ride. The guide resolved it professionally but this should not have happened.

The Martha bray part of the tour was lovely The lumionous lagoon was hit and miss Was not sure what was happening Not tuis fault but the photos that were taken were really not good which was disappointing as we hoped to capture the experience - it was all so rushed with people being told to get in the water and then pose for a photo and then next group - it felt like a cattle market. After the boat it was franetic with no one quite knowing what to do

Started badly as we were crammed in coach then had a pointless 30 min stop at a souvenir shop. Getting tickets for raft took ages too ..surely they can be pre bought. Thereafter I have to say everything was excellent , the rating , the lake experience and the fire show and the guide was really good keeping us together

Vond het leuk op river raft. Leuke man. Eten en restaurant heel fijn. Wel lang wachten voor wij op de boot kwam. Allebei niet in het water, zo de blauwe licht wat minder. Gids heel aardig en grappig, lieve vrouw van Jamaica.

The trip was enjoyable & an afternoon/evening. The guide was fun but the driver gave the most information about the areas we travelled through. Unfortunately the rafting experience wasn’t quite as expected as it had been raining so water moving faster & not clear. Our raft captain Oneil was very informative & we learnt lots about Jamaican culture, wildlife & how much training they do to get their captain licence. Meal was good. Lagoon a bit disappointing but good to experience the glow ;)

Take more cash than you think you will need, $40 for pictures at the lagoon which is well worth the money, it was incredible and you cant see it on a normal camera. Also at the rafting the guys make there own craft items to sell you, they are stunning but again you need cash around $40.

Martha Brea was an enjoyable experience. The luminous lagoon was not as expected, very underwhelming. Was expecting the lagoon to be luminous, and was no such thing. Would not recommend this trip. If it was sold as a boat ride to see the sunset, then I would have been happy. Not worth the money paid.

Loved the whole experience was really interesting to know the guide on our raft worked on this for 39 years so gave us a bit to insight into the culture and the different trees, reptiles and birds but no crocodiles the food after was amazing you either choose fried chicken or jerk chicken the limbo fire eater was amazing if not a little crazy all in all good end to the day

The actual martha brae raft ection was lovely and a great experience, however before we got here it seemed the driver + guide were 'killing time' by taking us on a driving tour around Falmouth pointing out the tax office, the police station, the court house etc which felt like a huge waste of time and pointless. The guys and captain at Martha Brae though were great.

Denis our guide was great, really informative, great communication and tips. Linford our raft captain was entertaining, gave us loads of information, yet still allowed us to chill and take it all in. Food and drink was simple but good. Lagoon experience was well worth it, boat captain was funny, there was plenty of space. There was no trip to Falmouth or the church that as mentioned in the description, this would have fitted between dinner and going on the lagoon. Overall we had a good time.

die Bambusflossfahrt war super! weiterfahrt zum Restaurant und glei ABENDESSEN um 16.15. das Essen war war eine Katastrophe. Das Poulet war so zäh, dass mann fast Erstickte. Danach warteten wir 3 Std !!!!! bis die Lagoonenfahrt los ging. es war Schei...... das ganze war Überteuert!!!!

I thought both experiences were well over priced. £200 for my wife and I to spend 45 minutes on basically a lazy river ride was not value for money. £70 for 30 minutes on the Blue Lagoon boat ride was to me a complete waste of money. You only got to see any luminous blue colour if you actually jumped in the water and agitated it yourself. Very disappointing experience.

Die Rafting Tour war top. Verpflegung während des Ausflugs eine Katastrophe. Den deutschsprachigen Guide hat man nicht gebraucht da er nichts zu den jeweiligen stops gesagt hat aber er was trotzdem ein sehr netter und unterhaltsamer Mann. Martha Brad was excellent value for money. Knowledgeable guide and safe driver. The Luminous Lagoon however was a disappointment. In my opinion the boat was overcrowded making it difficult to change into swim wear swim return dry oneself and change into dry clothes. The whole boat trip was approximately 30mins. This could have been better managed with space to fully enjoy the experience.

Unser kapitän auf dem Flos hat dermassen gas gegeben und hat alle die vor uns los gefahren sind überhol. Dafü mussten wir dann am Ziel zirka 15 minuten auf die anderen warten bis die Gruppe auch kam. Schade!

When we arrived at the luminous lagoon we seemed to get left to our own devices! We were led to a table where we ate and signed the wavier forms. Then we were sort of left, there was no information as to what time we expected to go onboard, where to meet as a group and what happens next! Our rep eventually was calling us to the front to get onboard. The issue was not her efforts which were good but the lack of information, I was in a strange place in a strange country it’s no idea what was next

Flussfahrt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Reisebegleitung drängt zu Abfahrtsterminen und lässt uns dann 25 Minuten warten. Die Fahrt mit dem Boot war O. K. die Anzahl der Personen am Boot war zu groß, besonders wenn dann noch im Meer bei Dunkelheit gebadet werden kann und alle Teilnehmer mit nasser Badekleidung zurück an Bord kommen und das ohne Licht beim Abtrocknen und Umziehen. Das Essen war mittelmäßig und das Huhn teilweise noch roh.

Our guide was great and driver has excellent driving skills. Rafting was nice but felt a bit pressured to purchase something. Our tip to raft guide seemed unappreciative. I think expected more. The price we paid was quite high do we thought a few dollars per person would have been sufficient The lagoon swim and guide on boat was excellent and really enjoyable. Our guide made sure we had a vegetarian option for our meal. It was also very nice

This excursion cost us close to $400 ($378), which is almost what we paid for our roundtrip airfare, for 2, from Newark to Jamaica. While the experience was lovely, and the guide delightful, this was definitely not worth the price. The "included" dinner was a dry piece of chicken and some rice, and the "visit to Falmouth," which we thought was going to involve shopping and sightseeing, was a 5 minute stop outside a church. Not at all worth the exorbitant cost. Skip the damned tourist traps!

The Raft Captain Jesse, made the Martha Brae river raft and limestone massage a relaxing and memorable experience. The captain and mates on the blue lagoon tour made it a beautiful and safe experience.

Rafting 10/10. The Luminous Lagoon does NOT illuminate!!! Advertised photographs clearly photoshopped! Literally zero light up. Also at the centre where you are taken it’s a cattle market 100’s of people. Shame really as the rafting was brilliant. Guide was funny and informative too.

Rafting the river was an amazing experience despite the fact river was a little wipder due to heavy rains, I felt like I was transported to Lord of the rings, water shoes or no shoes recommended. The food at the Luminous lagoon was average at most and vegetarian option was just bland. Experience on lagoon was fun as crew on ship kept us entertained and free rum punch was provided. They tried really hard but we didnt get to see barely any luminae but thats nature/heavy rains.

Wow! What an experience. Our drivers Donna and Patrick were lovely funny helpful and full of knowledge. The rafting experience was relaxing (even though it rained which organisers cannot control) The lagoon? Wow! Jump on a boat and sail out to sea in the night. Water turns luminous blue as u swim in it at night and its shallow enough to stand in if ur nervous in water. Overall an excellent day!

Raft experience was great, our captain on the raft was excellent. Bus driver and tour guide were good and well informed. Food was good and the fire dancer was very entertaining. Luminous lagoon was disappointing as due to clarity of water it was difficult to see the luminescence. Had it been sold as an evening/sunset cruise it would have been more honest. The lack of air conditioning in the minibus made it uncomfortable.

Wir hatten einen deutschen Ausflug gebucht, leider sprach die Reiseleiterin nur sehr schlecht deutsch. Der Ausflug in die Lagune war keine Lagune und das versprochene Naturschauspiel blieb auch aus. Vor der Bootsfahrt sollten wir alle ein englisch sprachiges Schriftstück unterschreiben, was darin genau stand, wollte uns die Reiseleiterin nicht übersetzen. Nur soviel, wir sollten auf Haftungsansprüche verzichten, wenn während der Bootsfahrt etwas passiert. Wir haben nicht unterschrieben.

Really enjoyed the Martha Brae part of the trip, our captain was friendly however they do try to sell you pots/additional add ons but politely decline. Lunch wasn’t the best, chicken was gristly and the rice was cold. Next the luminous lagoon was terrible! Got bitten by so many mosquitos as they had us standing around by the water for ages waiting to go out. Lifeguard was busy watching memes while someone was struggling in the water. The fire show after however was excellent. Guide was amazing!

De excursie wat mooi maar zeker geen 165 euro op waard. Het raften over de Martha Brae was mooi. Het eten was niet echt top en we werden vrij snel weer van de tafel af gestuurd omdat ze de tafel weer nodig hadden voor nieuwe gasten. Daarna moesten we erg lang wachten totdat het donker was om in de Luminous Lagoon te zwemmen. Dit was een leuke ervaring maar niet heel bijzonder. Toen we terug kwamen was de limbo show al begonnen die ook niet zo heel veel voor stelde.

Alle reisgidsen waren echt top! Martha Brae was erg leuk, leerzaam en rustgevend. De plek waar wij gingen wachten totdat het donker werd was fijn. Het eten was erg lekker. Helaas was de Luminous Lagoon niet ‘luminous’. Door de regenval die dag was het effect in het water niet te zien, dat was erg jammer. Natuurlijk kan niemand daar iets aan doen, maar als het van tevoren bekend is dat regenval het effect teniet doet, dan is het beter om dat te delen met gasten om verwachtingen bij te stellen.

The trip out on the boat was rough. Not very informative about the surrounding buildings unless the question was asked. Food was excellent a good selection and variety. Not just jerk chicken. Rafting was excellent relaxing and chilling even in the slight rain we had. Would recommend this duo trip as a must do.

The tour itself is nice as was the ride down the river and the lagoon. Two things that need improving. 1. I don’t agree with ret breaks on such a short trip, which is just to get people to spend money in gift shops. 2. The Guide was atrocious. Disengaged and more often than not just walked off the bus and let the passengers behind.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip especially the Martha Brae rafting. A little too much hanging around before going onto the lagoon but not a big issue. Tour guide (Chantelle) and driver (Paul) were very good. Have recommended the trip to friends going there.

The rafting was AMAZING we loved every second of it but the lagoon was very under whelming, the water doesn't actually glow you only see it in pictures that you have to buy it doesn't show up on phone cameras. I wish we'd stuck to just the rafting.

Erster Stopp war ein kleiner Shop in Montego Bay. Das Rafting auf dem Martha Brae River ist eine ruhige, entspannte ca. 3 Meilen lange Tour auf einem Bambusfloß. Der Guide war nett und hat uns einige Pflanzen am Flußrand gezeigt. Anschließend ging es zur Lagune, hier gab es ein Abendessen und ein Getränk. Anschließend mussten wir warten, bis es richtig dunkel wurde. Den Effekt des leuchtens hat man leider nicht so richtig gesehen, wenn man im Wasser war.

Tijdens de busreis stop je bij een giftshop, ze dringen aan op kopen van waterschoenen die NIET!! nodig zijn deze tour!Martha brae was prachtig, het varen duurt een uur. Er waren geen muggen of andere insecten.De raft is niet versiert zoals je soms op social media ziet. Aan het eind kan de rafter je zelf gemaakte eigen dingen willen verkopen maar een vriendelijke nee is voldoende. Een tip wordt gewaardeerd, geen must. De lagoon was leuk alleen amper te zien op foto’s.

Voor da geld zou de limestone massage included mogen zijn en dat luminus water was weinig luminus aan , maar wat mij het meeste stoort is dat de locals precies geen besef hebben van wat wij betalen voor die excursies want ze willen altijd maar meer geld , fooien voor de chauffeur, reisleider, de bootman, muziek band enz én toppunt was bij een souvenirs winkel waar ik een red Bull van 25 cl ... 6 dollar heb moeten neertellen gewoon schandalig maar ja das vakantie zeker... grtjs

The whole day was great and the guide was very friendly and engaging. Rafting was very relaxing. The weather for the lagoon trip did not hold out and although we managed to get out into the lagoon we could only stay for about 15 mins due to a downpour of rain. Our tour guide was great but only marked a score of two as our Raft Captain was homophobic. We are a ********** couple and soon as he found out he stopped talking to us apart from throwing out periodic homophobic remarks which made us feel very uncomfortable. He started calling out to other raft captains that he has 'botty boys' on his raft, this we later discovered is a very derogatory remark in Jamaica.

Wir wurden pünktlich vom Hotel abgeholt und waren in einem klimatisiertem Bus unterwegs. Die Tour war gut organisiert, bei Martha Brae Rafting hat es ordentlich geregnet, war aber trotzdem ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Ein herzlichen Dank an Maja, sie hat das Leben auf Jamaika bischen Nähe gebracht. Die Bootsfahrt zur Lagune war sehr amüsant und Lustig, Grüße an Capitan Alex. Das Wasser war sehr warm und leuchtete in Dunkelheit, Erlebnis pur. Die Tour kann man nur empfehlen

Rafting down the Martha Brae was delightful. George, No 28, was our rafter and guide. He was pleasant, easy going and knowledgable. He knew so much about the local fauna and flora and was happy to slow down to explain and let us take photos. A real gentleman. Unfortunately we were a little dissapointed with the Blue Lagoon. We felt it was over hyped and not that luminous. The ban on taking our own photos was also a bit prohibative.

The guide stops at a shopping complex for a "toilet stop" but goes into one particular shop that has the toilet and says bring your money incase you want souvenirs. The company clearly has some kind of financial arrangement with the store, which insist think should happen on a TUI booked trip. The rafting was fab, really enjoyed, we had a lovely captain. The lagoon no so, packed boats, murky muddy waters that illuminated slightly when you swam. Would not particularly recommend

Keine Zeit Marthas Herbs , also den Kräutergarten , anzuschauen. Unser Bambusflossfahrer hatte es sehr eilig ans Ziel zu kommen. Warum? Hätten die schöne Fahrt gerne etwas langsamer genossen. Danach wurden wir zum Restaurant gefahren und abgefüttert und mussten dann über eine Stunde vor dem Schiff warten bis es dunkel wurde und die Schifffahrt losging. Man könnte den Ausflug eine Stunde später beginnen und noch Zeit im Kräutergarten verbringen mit einer Führung, die uns die einzelnen Kräuter

Martha Brae ist zu empfehlen. Auch wenn der Fluss an einer Straße entlang führt. Ständig hupende LKW usw. Essen dann der Lagune ok. ABER DANN, fast zwei Stunden gewartet, dass man das Boot besteigen durfte. Während schön in ei er Rekhe angestanden wurde. Der "Kapitän" war aggressiv gegenüber den wartenden. Denke er war nicht ganz Herr seiner Sinne !!! Die Reiseleiterin war meiner Meinung mit der Situation überfordert. Wir waren 18 Person, sollte deutschsprachig sein. Boot wurde zu 45 pers.

The bamboo rafting was a wonderful experience. The guide was knowledgeable but we found it equally fascinating to learn about the guide himself as well as he was happy to answer our questions.. A very relaxing experience surrounded in outstanding beauty. The luminous lagoon didn’t quite reflect the photographs but that’s mother nature for you. You get what you get on the day. Still worthy of the visit combined with the rafting. Food was ok. Drinks at the bar very very expensive.

Martha Brae was relaxing, serene, and so beautiful. Our river guide Clive was excellent and taught us many things about the area while still keeping the journey cool and relaxing. The luminous lagoon was also a great experience. Our tour guide and bus driver was very knowledgeable and taught us many facts about Jamaica, and attractions along the 2 hour drive from Negril.

Super schöne Tour. Perfekter Guide (Maja). Sehr viel über Land und Leute erfahren. Hat auch mal kurze, spontane Fotostops eingefügt. Keith ist ein super Fahrer. Das Rafting war eine sehr schöne Tour und ein tolles Erlebnis. Alle dort sehr nett. Das Restaurant bei der Lagune war sehr laut (Musik) und das Essen etwas chaotisch. Die Reiseleiterin war sehr freundlich und kompitent. Der Busfahrer ist sehr ordentlich gefahren ich fühlte mich jederzeit sicher in seinem Bus. Unsere TUI Reiseleitung Christina hat nicht zuviel versprochen. Das Rafting auf dem Bambusfloß war ganz besonders. Die leuchtende Lagune einfach unglaublich. Zum Abendessen gab es typisch jamaikanisches Jerk Chicken. Die Reiseleitung hat fast perfekt Deutsch gesprochen. Ein toller Ausflug!

Martha Brae was mooi maar de lagoon was echt het hoogtepunt. Ik herken niet het negatieve commentaar. We mochten foto's maken. Maar met een mobieltje krijg je niet de instellingen die je nodig hebt voor scherpe foto's. Het water lichtte ook prachtig op, net als in de folder. Het is een natuurlijk proces we werden gewaarschuwd dat het niet altijd zo is. En de gids gaf alle ruimte om de vuurshow te bekijken. We bepaalden zelf (met het gezelschap) wanneer we terug gingen. Duur? Alles op Jamaica!

What a wonderful excursion, our tour guide was amazing, she kept us all laughing and brought us all together. The luminous lagoon is something else, a true wonder of the world. Very well organised and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

From the start to the finish at Martha Brae was excellent. Our tour guide and driver were very informative, friendly, and made us feel so relaxed. Our captain for the rafting on Martha Brae was so nice..he serenaded my partner and I on the whole ride. It was my partner's birthday and he made it extra special. I was really pleased as well that there was no pressure to tip anyone..sometimes it can be quite overwhelming. He was excellent! My partner and I laughed all the way. The Lagoon was great!

The excursion was well organized and our host kept us entertained on the mini bus there and back. The rafting was a great experience, so peaceful and the luminous lagoon was unlike anything I'd seen before.

An absolute fantastic day out from start to finish, trip was so well organised, lovely relaxing ride on the bamboo raft, giving us history about the bamboo, Lovely lunch included, the illuminous lagoon was breathtaking also, absolutely beautiful, highly recommended for anyone thinking of taking the option to book

Brianna the guide and Lloyd the driver were very good. Helpful and informative and a good laugh. Unfortunately we had to wait over 2hrs at Martha brae for a raft. Tui were not at fault at all for this, and Brianna kept us updated . But overall it was an excellent trip.

We had to queue for 2 hours with a life jacket on in the boiling heat 33 degrees before we could get on a raft as they didn’t have enough raftsmen only 3 raftsmen. At the luminous lagoon when we were queuing to board the boats with our children a large group of Portuguese tourists pushed passed us to board the boat which was very dangerous and really annoying

I really enjoy the experience of luminous and the raft but I was really not happy with the mini bus 22 seater a I am 6 ft 2 inch and I was sitting in the back seat with my legs squash for over 2 hours it's been the worst journey I have been in my knees was hurting for 3 days straight I had to stay in my room most of the days laying on my back with my leg stretch out really spoil the rest of my holiday I expect to be getting back my money for that trip I hope to hear back from you

The rafting & luminous lagoon is an amazing experience, the entire day ran smoothly. The rafting is peaceful and enjoyable as you raft throughout a beautiful river. Whilst the luminous lagoon really is an exceptional experience, never experienced anything like it, with only 4 countries boasting a luminous lagoon, it really is worth the visit. My only disappointment as with most of the excursions was the included meal/drink. It tastes nice, though their was minimal options/ always the same.

The tour guide gave us allot of history on the bus trip to Martha Brae which was well received. The Martha Brae rafting was relaxing and pretty, our raft guide was friendly and informative. The only thing that we found disappointing was the amount of rubbish on some of the banks along the way and on the river. This could only have been left by locals and was sad to see. The Luminous Lagoon itself was a fantastic experience!

Liebes Team , Organisation super ! Mitarbeiter toll aber das Essen als Dinner anzupreisen , geht gar nicht !!!!!! Ein abgepacktes Etwas mit Plastik Gabeln ! So etwas hab ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt ! Kein Wasser ! zum Essen nur picksüsse Limos ! Schrecklich ! Und das obwohl man dort sehr gut essen hätte können mit Besteck und Teller ! Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen , dass so ein Wahnsinn von Ihren Mitarbeitern geduldet worden wäre ! Besser kein Essen anbieten als so einen Frass ! Fassungs!

The journey to the raft was comfortable only 8 of us in a small coach the guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the trip he told us all a few interesting bits. When we got to the rafting we was greeted with a soft drink and the waited for our rafts to arrive from down stream life belt on and our wonderful experience rafting started (about half hour journey ) down stream then a little drive and on the boat after food to swim in the amazing luminous sea FANTASTIC thank you TUI

The rafting experience on the Martha Brae was excellent. Our rafter guy was friendly, knowledgable and an excellent guide AKA Pineapple. Transport was small and uncomfortable for a 2 hour Journey. Driver drove quite fast at times. Tour guide left us part way Journey home. Lumjnous Lagoon was disappointing but must say watching sunset was excellent. Captain and crew were fantastic

Great escorts and driver who were helpful and great fun. The excursion was fantastic from the rafting and the crew on the raft to the boat captain and swimming the bay. You have to see the illumious water to believe it - it is like something out of Avatar!!!. Absolutely a great day and well we orth the expense.

De uitstap op zondag gedaan, na 2h30 in de volle zon moeten wachten zonder 1 glas water, zij de gids dat er op zondag niet genoeg kapiteinen zijn ! Dat hebben we als antwoord gekregen !!! Eerst 50 minuten telaat voor de ophaal en dan nog die ********** erbij.... We hebben dan klacht ingediend bij de hostess ter plaatse.

Our tour guide was great and told us about lots of history and stories of the locals and how they live. The relaxed atmosphere on the raft was wonderful.The luminous lagoon was again very relaxed and the staff were very jolly and informative and gave us lots of laughs. The trip was well timed throughout the day, we did not feel rushed or that we had missed out on anything. Everyone else on the coach agreed they had a great time on this trip too. There was no part of this trip we didn’t like.

The river was beautiful. The guides were friendly. My husband and son went on one raft, my sister and I went on another. Towards the end of the raft ride a very large tree fell onto my husband and sons raft. The guide tried to avoid the tree, but had to jump back and it fell in the middle of the raft. It lifted my son and husband up in the air, branches hitting them. My husband had to help the guide free the raft and help get back up river to get off.

The whole experience was excellent, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a good tour guide on the way to our destinations. She was a very happy person and funny too. A very good experience, not much to not like, the wait for the lagoon boat was a bit long but the wait was most definitely worth it!

Der Ablauf war reibungslos nur die Wartezeit an der Lagune war sehr lang bis wir los fahren konnten. Das Essen war wirklich super lecker. Die Raftingfahrt war richtig schön, da konnte auch der Platzregen nichts dran ändern. Die Schwimmzeit in der Lagune war sehr kurz und wenn man Bilder anschaut stellt man sich das alles natürlich etwas doller vor mit dem Leuchten. Trotz allem war es beeindruckend und muss man einfach gesehen haben. Der Tourguides war super sympathisch und freundlich.

Op het vlot varen is wel eens leuk om mee te maken. Paar tegenvallers: je leert niet hoe ze zo'n vlot bouwen (staat in tekst), het water is niet blauw als de foto's en op de foto's lijkt het alsof je door afgezonderde natuur gaat, maar langs de hele rivier is een autoweg waar genoeg verkeer over gaat helaas. Kerk niet gezien onderweg. Bij Luminous Lagoon locatie eerst gegeten. Hierna ruim 2,5u gewacht voor we de erg drukke boot in konden. Water is minder spectaculair als foto's doen vermoeden.

The river rafting was AMAZING! So relaxing and interesting. Our rafter guide was information, pleasant and made the experience even more enjoyable. Travelling 3 miles down the river ( around 60-75 mins) it was well worth the money. We then travelled to the luminous lagoon. We had to wait a few hours after arriving for the sun to set before we could go out on the boat. However because our group had been waiting so long, as an extra we were taken out on a sunset boat trip prior to swimming.

Martha brae rafting was super. Fijne gids op het vlotje die veel kon vertellen. Luminous lagoon was boven verwachting mooi. Alleen kon je maar 5 min zwemmen en ging je daarna alweer terug. Wat ons betreft veel te kort. Wat wij minder vonden was het eten: rijst erg droog. En het was haast onmogelijk om de kip te eten met alleen een plastic vorkje. Onze gids vertelde de hele dag wel wat, maar was niet echt geïnteresseerd. En onze taxi chauffeur had ontzettende haast, dus reed als een gek.

Good overall trip down to time being pick up/dropped off from hotel to the length of time at each place of interest. The ride was good with good information from our guide. The rafting was a great experience but was slightly ruined by the lack of information given to us by our punter. Good journey to the lagoon with the normal stop off of a local store. Lagoon was amazing and our guide was very entertaining and knowledgable and allowed ample time for enjoyment. Food provided was good standard.

Absolutely enjoyed this trip. The guys paddling the rafts were knowledgeable about the area, they continually showed us points of interest along the route and had a great sense of humour too. The Blue Lagoon was excellent, what an experience, it was one that we were so glad we booked. The water was surprisingly warm and had no qualms about going in as you could wear a life jacket if you wanted to. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Martha Brae River ligt langs een weg. De vaart met het vlot is ontspannen, maar niet zo spectaculair. Onze gids was de helft van de afvaart gewoon aan het babbelen met een andere raft waardoor we gewoon naast elkaar aan het varen waren. Het privé gevoel ging volledig verloren. Jammer. De omgeving is mooi, maar geen wauw-gevoel. We deden dan ook nog de luminous tour. Uiteindelijk ben je slechts 10 min. in het water terwijl dit je uitstap 2u langer maakt. Maar toegegeven het is mooi om te zien.

This was an excellent trip. The rafting was lovely and relaxed and very enjoyable. The meal before the boat trip to the lagoon was good and the restaurant was a fun and lively place, including a fire eater/dancer after the boat trip. The boat trip into the lagoon was amazing, we’ve never experienced anything like it. The day all in all was quite laid back and thoroughly enjoyable.

Der Trip war sicher nicht billig. Aber das Erlebte war es echt wert. Die Guides waren sehr informativ und freundlich. Es wurde ausschließlich englisch gesprochen. Das Essen war typisch jamaikanisch aber sehr spartanisch serviert. Die freien Getränke sind spärlich, aber es gibt auch welche zu kaufen. Besser gleich welche mitnehmen. Rafting und besonders die leuchtende Lagune waren echt faszinierend.

Het raften over de rivier was leuk en de luminous lagoon indrukwekkend. Echter was de rit met de bus erheen de tijd niet waard. Dit was met een (lokale) taxi veel beter geweest. Verder werd er tijdens het raften niks verteld over het gebruik van de lokale kruiden. Het eten werd in een plastic bakje voor je neergezet, maar was wel lekker. Daarna was het anderhalf uur wachten voor een rondje op de boot. Het was wel leuk dat je hier kon zwemmen. Maar wederom was dit de tijd wachten niet waard.

It was ashame that the rafting trip was only 40 minutes and then for the lagoon we only had 30 minutes when we told we had 1 hour. If you are going to stay in Negril the journey there may be quite a long for what the excursion is. However the experience was really good and the food providing was lovely.

Really enjoyed the raft down the river. But everything else didn’t really coincide with the details of the experience. We never visited the oldest church just some tacky gift shop. We had to wait nearly 2 hours for the sun to go down for the visit to the blue lagoon which was a real anticlimax. The pictures showed a body of bright blue water but it only slightly shone when someone went into the water. I will be contacting TUI to speak to them lot of money for what you got .

The rafting was excellent, drifting down the river piloted by a local captain. The luminous lagoon was awe inspiring and not be missed. I swim a lot in open water at night but this was a level above. We had a superb driver, the best of the trip. But … guide was not attentive, barely spoke on the bus trip to talk about what we were seeing. My son and I didn’t get dinner with everyone else and I had to chase around the bar trying to find her to help. It would have been possible to cut out 1 hr

Das Baden in der Luminous Lagoon hat für die vielen Wartezeiten entschädigt. Auf dem Hinweg haben wir ungefragt Halt an einem Souvenirshop gemacht = Zeitverschwendung und unnötig. Der Bus war klimatisiert und sicher. Der Busfahrer war sehr nett. Beim Rafting mussten wir eine Stunde stehend warten, da keine Floßfahrer da waren. Das Essen abends war kalt und nicht das was bestellt wurde. Auch hier mussten wir lange warten und unser Guide wurde nicht gesehen. Mussten uns als Gruppe selbst helfen

Nice air conditioned bus, driver and tour guide were great. Stopped off on the way at well stocked shop with tourist gifts, clothes, drinks etc but all very expensive. The Matha Bray raft experience was enjoyable. Friendly and knowledgeable raft captain. Enjoy the ride of have a go at controlling the raft. Luminous Lagoon is a short 15 min swim, that was fun. Food quality average and music far too loud which made it hard to stay and watch fire eater entertainment without being deafened.

Das Rafting auf dem Martha Brae River war sehr entspannend und man hat viel über die Vegetation erfahren. Das Abendessen war schmackhaft und reichhaltig. Das Baden in der Luminous Lagoon war einzigartig und Faszination pur, was die Natur zu bieten hat. Bestenfalls stellt man seinen Fotoapparat bzw. das Handy schon im Vorfeld optimal ein - der Blitz hat hier Nichts verloren und verdirbt allen anderen Gästen dieses Naturschauspiel!!!

The MB rafting was informative and relaxing. The Luminous water swim was an amazing experience in really warm waters. Priest Jerome was a brilliant host and a major part of what made this experience so enjoyable. Unavoidable from our location in Negril, the journey to the experiences was long and a bit tiresome in busy traffic.

Martha brae should have been a fabulous experience as setting was beautiful our guide richard was fab... However 2 jamaican girls were ushered to the front of the que as a certain guide wanted to take them... They were moored up about a third into the journey in which they were receiving a *full on* massage blaring music out on a loudspeaker distrupting everyone else on the tour... Unbelievable behaviour allowed on what should have been a beautiful trip!! Blue lagoon was beautiful but rushed

The rafting was really relaxing, exactly what we wanted. When we got to the lagoon and 'meal' we were asked if we wanted fried or jerk chicken. It was irrelevant as being the last 2 people to be served were told there 'was no more chicken' but we could have curried goat ! All the other people in our bus had chicken of 1 flavour or other but not all their 1st choice. When we got back from the swim members of our bus party were offered the meals they didn't have but when the last 4 of us got to the table 'there was no more chicken'. Absolute shambles and we were all very hungry. Asked if we could have a burger but was told the money paid for the trip would not cover it. Bit disappointed with the swim as we were told we would get about 30/40 minutes in the water, turned out to be 15 minutes.

Der Transfer hat gut geklappt. Mussten ca 20min in der Lobby warten. In der Beschreibung stand, das wir eine Kirche besuchen aber dies war nicht der Fall. Es wurde nur darüber erzählt. Stattdessen wurden wir zu einem Souvenir Shop gebracht in dem wir 15min Zeit hatten überteuerte Souvenirs und andere Artikel zu kaufen. Die Floßfahrt war sehr schön und gut organisiert. Kann man nur empfehlen. Getränke während der Fahrt oder zwischendurch wären schön gewesen. Es gab nur bei Ankunft der Floßfahrt ein Fruchtpunsch und zum Essen in der Lagune. Jetzt zum negativen: Angekommen in der blauen Lagune und es herrschte das reinste Chaos. Mehrere Ausflugsgruppen stürmten in das Restaurant. Wir warteten mindestens 15min auf den Minibecher Fruchtpunsch. Unsere Gruppe wählte das Essen und alle bekamen ihr Gericht unterschiedlich. Wir waren die letzten und die Beilage wie Reis kam zum Hühnchen als man damit fertig war. Das Personal war mehr als überfordert. Bei der Essensausgabe wurde auch Essen ausgeteilt was man nicht gewählt hatte mit dem Kommentar „das bestellte ist alle“. Dann ging es auf die Boote und man konnte schwimmen. Ein tolles Erlebnis. Es wurde auch einiges darüber erzählt, wie das Phänomen zustande kommt. Zurück zur Anlegestelle, es stürmten alle aus den Booten und es sollte noch eine Feuershow stattfinden. Wir wollten uns etwas trocken machen (nur mit dem Handtuch auf der Bank wo wir aus dem Boot ausstiegen) und sahen von weitem wie das Feuer aufleuchtete. Wenn wir sofort los gerannt wären hätten wir sicher noch etwas davon gesehen. Aber wenn man mit dem letzten Boot ankommt und nicht sofort vor rennt, dahin wo man gegessen hat verpasst man die Show.

Very relaxing bamboo rafting with a lovely captain(lurenzo) A bit hit and miss with getting to the start of rafting with an unnecessary stop off. Meal and entertainment good at lagoon but wasn't really kept informed when we would be going on board boat. If I'm totally honest I was a bit underwhelmed with the luminous lagoon, I was expecting it to be brighter than it was but its still worth a visit.

The whole day was managed well and was thoroughly enjoyable. Would highly recommend this trip. However it is a late evening if young children are included. The rafting was an educational tour well done to our raft captain. The time at the lagoon from entertainment, dinner and the swimming was well managed and very good.

Das Rafting und die Luminous Lagune an sich waren wirklich schön. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war das viele verkaufen und warten. Wir mussten sehr lang bei der Lagune warten und teilweise hat sich der Ausflug wie eine Verkaufsveranstaltung angefühlt. Totale schade weil die Höhepunkte an sich toll waren aber es hat sich ewig gezogen
