It’s a knackered old zoo, the lemur interaction area was absolutely amazing however €5 for a half cup of food was a little steep. However definitely an experience, ended up doing it twice. Rest of the park looked knackered but with also i reckon could be really good if they changed out half of the birds they had for different animals or more animals or even more experience hubs. Restaurant there was massively overpriced and is exactly how I imagine other cafes try to not operate.

Zoo was lovely and the restaurant served delicious food and fast apon ordering. Cages were secure. Staff were very friendly and polite. I felt some of the enclosures were small compared to the UK zoos but it was a lovely time out to see the animals.

Fantastic zoo, great variety of animals, all looked really healthy and happy. Ringtailed lemur experience was fantastic, I wish I did the elephant one now. Really impressed with the size of the place and variety of animals. Huge collection of parrots/ exotic birds. It's the best zoo I have been to. Transport included to the zoo was great - very convenient. Bus ride was comfortable. Good value for money including entry and transport. Zoo was big with lots of animals. Bird show was well run and entertaining - presenters were knowledgeable and engaging. Zoo was very bird heavy - looking at lots of birds only entertained for so long. Some of the bird cages also seemed very small.

The bus driver was rude, on the way back we were the last to get to the bus with 5 mins to spare. We stepped on the bus with a 1 year old and our stuff. He started driving off before we’d sat down. My one year old went flying. I caught him, but had to pick him up with all our stuff in my hands and go further down the bus for a spare seat. Very dangerous thing to do. I spoke to him when getting the buggy (scared before stop)and another passenger who thought it was dangerous. He just stormed off.

Variety of animals were good. It should however be made clear that its cash only at the coffee shops as it was so hot and we couldn't buy a bottle of water, only at the restaurant . I know many others have complained about this too.

The coach arrived on time, zoo was good variety of animals, taken back toʻ hotel afterwards. Value for money, definitely a must when visiting Cyprus

The zoo itself has an ok variety of animals but it is so very hot and there is no flexibility with regards to return time. We have a toddler who found the heat a bit too much so we had lunch in the cafe which isn’t air conditioned then made our way to the front Desk. I asked if we would be put on an earlier shuttle back to our hotel and was told no, they would need to book a taxi which had to be paid to them. It cost €25 for a 6 mile journey.

The trip was great I think it was just the right amount of time it took about 50 mins to get there with other hotel pick ups bit the coach was aire conditioned and we got to see bit of pafos that we hadn't seen so it was fine we had just over 3.5 hours at the zoo. We fed the lemurs (5 euros each but we'll worth it) we saw all the animals they had an elephant experiance where you could interact with the elephants (50 euros for a group of 5) and we saw the bird show which was excellent by the tim

Was picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to the zoo which was approximately 15 mins away. The guide told us what time he would return to pick us up. The zoo is full of mostly birds but there are also rhinos, elephant, lions, zebra and tigers. Muhammad the Major (elephant trainer) was amazing with Shoba the elephant. We enjoyed our interaction, photos and feeding session.

We had a great time at Pafos zoo and would go again. You can experience feeding an elephant and lemurs. Lots to see and the reptiles are cool if you get a chance! Would highly recommend a visit whilst you are here!

Can't complain it worked out £21 each per adult, the zoo is small and can do in about an hour and a half, only took us longer because of the heat it was 31 degrees Celsius that day.

The zoo itself I have no complaints about at all! The only complaint I have is the TUI service in regards to our trip only. I booked the only slot of 10.10 and we had an email the day before moving us to 8.10 bus. This was quite early for us with two young kids on holiday and meant we were unable to have breakfast and had the expense of food at the zoo as we couldn’t take our own food in. The TUI rep was useless and rude, but suggested only we should have booked with them and not online

One thing to note, our transfer time was put at 1030am but was changed without us knowing. It was moved to 1115am. Some better communication would be appreciated as we were waiting over an hour and thought our transfer had cancelled on us. Thanks.

Bus driver was rude and unhelpful. There was a few families with young children who the bus driver just watched struggle to get on the bus with prams/kids. No help offered. Actual zoo was good - not sure what it means about ‘tour’ as there wasn’t one! Wouldn’t book again.

Staff were really good and knew an increadable amount of info about all the animals. The lemurs were amazing and we did it twice. Transport was great, on time and well air-conditioned. The zoo it's self, some of the information sheets were missing, but staff were happy to fill in the missing info

As for the zoo, it's more of a bird sanctuary than actually a zoo. Having said that, there are some other animals. The bird show was definitely a highlight of the visit and fun and informative at the same time, and for extra 5 euros, you can hold a parrot or owl. As for the coach trip, unfortunately it was overbooked, some passengers ended up standing the whole 30 min journey and the driver once had to break so hard because of red light that people fell over in the coach. It wasn't a safe trip.

We went to the bird show which was enjoyable. The 2 ladies were super informative and obviously very passionate about their jobs. We didn't pay for the elephant experience as we weren't sure how ethical it was - it didn't look like the elephant had a lot of space. The lemur experience was closed when we got round to it, so we ran out of time for that! Food was good and staff were all helpful.

The enclosures could be bigger. Service on the ice cream stall could be quicker and the amount you get is not worth the money. Park is kept relatively well and the animals look well, however, if you are a passionate animal lover you may find the enclosures difficult to see as they are small with little stimulation for the animals, however, you are able to get up pretty close to the animal's which makes the experience somewhat better. It was nice to see the animals but not sure if I'd come again

A great day out with transport to and from the Zoo. It’s a small zoo, but there’s plenty to see and zoo, including lemur and elephant experiences (for an additional charge). The on site restaurant was also very good too

We’ve been to Cyprus a few time and never been to the Zoo, quite surprised us in terms of how good it is. There are a lot of birds, but also lions, tigers, monkeys, elephant, snakes, reptiles and penguins, plus a whole host of other animals. Hotel transfer was spot on, good day out I would recommend this.

Enkelt å komme seg på bussen, zoo på hele bussen og sto på samme plass når vi skulle tilbake! Rikelig tid i parken uten for mye døtid! Fugleshowet var bra, pluss for kaldt rom! Ellers var det som forventet mye fugler og de mer eksotiske dyrene lå og sov i skur bak i cellene! Ikke noe felles mating av dyrene som i Norge! Mulighet å betale 5-50 euro for å komme inn til dyrene men stiv pris!

It was BOILING HOT and we thought it was pretty quiet when we visited on 21st July 2023. We paid extra for the Lemur experience which completely made it worthwhile for us. Then we fed the elephant too, which again, was a fabulous experience but there was a hefty 50euro additional charge per family group (1-5people). This was expensive but how many opportunities do you get to feed an elephant I guess. Felt like we had enough time - Not huge. Lots of birds. Some shade around the zoo.

The bird show was really good It was a shame that we could get to the houses and donkeys but you could still see them. I didn’t like the exploitation of the elephant as he was performing on a hot rock for small peace’s of food while a keeper waved a stick at him and there wasn’t much water in his pool to cool him off

We love a zoo! Although Pafos Zoo is a LOT of birds it’s a really lovely layout and you still have the “big” animals. We’d definitely visit again. Highly recommend. Half a day was enough for us which included a bite to eat.

The reviews stated you wouldn’t have enough time, ignore them! Pick up at 0930-1400 departure. Small zoo but worth a visit if you have children. We managed to sit and eat with a 4 year old for an hour in the restaurant (she has a dairy allergy). Restaurant is on the pricey side but you expect that from these sort of eateries.

Dead easy pickup to the Zoo and return back to the resort. Fantastic bird show, and what a great Zoo. Plenty of animals or all varieties. My only negative comment would be that we were not there for very long. Arrived at the zoo about 11am and left at 2:30. Felt a very rushed experience.

Enjoyed the zoo experience but the travelling to the zoo on the bus was not nice. It was too overcrowded and my 14 year old grandaughter had to sit on her mother's knee as there were no seats for her. There were small children toddlers sat in seats but were not asked to sit on their parents knees.

We always love visiting Pafos zoo when in Cyprus. It did look a little tired and needed a little updating since the last time that we visited however having just went through a pandemic everywhere is trying to get back on their feet so it didn’t really faze us. We still had a lovely day out and enjoyed feeding the lemurs and giraffes. The feeding experiences really made the trip!

We went to Paphos zoo, what a amazing day, the zoo is massive with lots of animals to see, they all looked very cared for which is nice to see, the zoo is clean and tidy, and it looks over the sea which is a added bonus. We had a great day. The free bus picked us up from outside our hotel and dropped us off there too. There wasn’t anything we didn’t enjoy about the day. Well worth a visit for all ages!

Great day out and lots of unique experiences (bird shows and lemur feeding) but lots of hidden costs - expect around €15-20 per person of extra cost if you want to feed any animals and make sure to bring water! Definitely worth paying the entry fee :)

The trip over all was incredible! Our pick up outside our hotel transfer was a little neckie, our driver parked in the middle of the main road which we then had to wait and cross in order to board, the driver was quite rude also. The zoo cages were quite small for most animals factoring their sizes, not really a quality of life for them. The walk in lemur experience was breathtaking and the giraffe feeding was also quite special, just over all not a lot of space for the animals.

A lovely little zoo. We got a coach transfer from our hotel straight to the zoo. Just enough time there aswell. We got to feed the giraffe €10 for 5 people. So worth it. My daughter and I loved the experience. There’s a little cafe which was nice to get a drink in the shade for a bit. They are adding more enclosures in the future so would definitely go again.

Great experience - opportunities at the zoo to interact with the animals at a fraction of the price in the UK. The facilties and restaurant are clean, tidy and plentiful. The bus trip is an experience not to be missed. We were a little concerned getting round in 4 hours, but at pafos zoo the time is just right, at a meander, we will definitely go back when we revisit Cyprus.

Paphos zoo is small. There are many bird species overall, and a few bigger zoo animals eg, an elephant, a giraffe, zebra, camel, crocodile. The transfer from hotel to zoo and back only gives approx 4 hours (midday) so many animals (especially big cats) are sleeping in their huts and you cannot see them. Big disappointment for our son. The highlight was feeding the lemurs for an additional €5 each. Additional costs to feed giraffe, elephant etc!

Unfortunately the staff on arrival didn't tell us about the bird show which we found out about from one of the other guests at our hotel. The bird show was good which we enjoyed. However I felt that a lot of the animal and bird enclosures were too small with no water provided especially when the weather was very hot.

Would be good to highlight the cost of the paid for animal experiences at the zoo and the need to take cash as there’s no cards accepted. It’s also very hot to walk around so perhaps make people of the need to carry water - I had read other reviews so had some with me, luckily.

Great half day, great price, nice restaurant on site. Only downside, it could of been an hour longer at the zoo, apart from that great day.

We had a great experience feeding the animals which made the trip for us. I would have preferred a slightly earlier pick up and drop off time as it get very hot at lunch time but I don’t know if that’s due to the zoo opening times.

A great zoo far bigger then expected, If you intend of doing the feedings, Elephant, Giraffe, Lemur's and see the other animals and the bird show you will need more the the 4 hours. If we did it again we would just sort out our own transport and go for the whole day. Coach was 30 mins late to pick us up in the morning, But left early on the return. They will not wait even a min we got to the return pick up location dead on time, the coach was already gone. Would do again but without TUI

We were picked up late and not at the designated pick up point by a bus driver who spoke no English, didn't seem to have a clue who he was supposed to be picking up (as highlighted on the way back when he clearly had extra on the bus as some passengers had to stand in the aisle) Arrival at the zoo was awkward, we had prepaid for entrance tickets but had to queue with paying customers to get in, ended up with just 3 hours inside the zoo.

The pick up time was changed to an hour earlier. The company did contact the hotel but because this had been booked by a different family member and not the lead name from the holiday package we were not notified of this change. An email could have been sent to the one provided on the booking info

Enjoyed everything, much better than what I was expecting. Loved being able to feed the animals and take memories away with us. Fed the lemurs and staff member did photos and video without being asked. Very good value for money. The zoi was much bigger than I thought it would be.

I would recommend the zoo visit to anyone visiting paphos. It is a small zoo but lots to do in the time you are there. The bird show was very good there is also alot of animal experiences. Feeding the leamers(5 euro each ) the girraffe (10 euro for 5) and if you wish an elephant (50 euro group)these are an additional cost but i felt worth it. The only negative is the zoo is cash only this isnt clear booking. There was an ATM at the front when you go in that I did use but it does charge for use.
