Excellent
I found once we got off the coach, I felt that the whole experience at the port was very disorganised, once we got off the coach we wern’t quite sure where we should be going we all kind of looked at each other to say what do we do now! We were then shouted at by somebody to get in a line and queue up, there were people everywhere! We had to queue up at 2 seperate desks the 1st one to check in and then the 2nd to collect our snorkel and to pay the port fees. Then people were all then just stood around waiting to be called for your trip. I found the whole experience at the port quite stressful to be honest. Also the whole time during the trip we were wondering what we did about our transfer home, we were told what would happen about transfers on the boat journey home. I think maybe this is something your transfer driver should advise you of before dropping you off at the port. Once we got on our boat the experience was very enjoyable, we enjoyed the time we had on both islands. One other thing I would like to mention, the organisers offered you a tour of Isla contoy, I would of loved to have done this, but they advised that you would need insect repellant as it involved walking through a jungle like terrain. But we did not have any insect repellent with us as this was not on the list of things to take on the trip. again maybe this is something that can be added to the list of things to take. The guide Grace and her team were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Grace was a very lively character and made the whole trip a fun and enjoyable experience. They take photos during the trip, and give you the option to purchase these during your boat trip home. The only negative I have to say about this tour is that it is very long day for anyone that is staying in the tulum area.
