What to expect
A chance to experience the world-famous aerial acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil – but with a Mexican twist. You'll enjoy pre-show canapés treats and champagne before the awe-inspiring acrobatics really kick off at Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ. Without doubt, one of the most exhilarating nights in the Riviera Maya.Stroll along a wooden walkway, which winds its way around a lake, and make sure to look out for the characters spinning fire-lit batons on board canoes. Take your seat right up close to the action before the rest of the audience, so you can enjoy your champagne and appetisers in a leisurely manner.When the show starts, you'll be treated to an out-of-this-world set – acrobats soaring across the ceiling and daredevil motorcyclists on stage. And, of course, it comes with a Mexican twist, from the dinosaur-destroying meteor that landed in the Yucatan peninsula to a homage to the migrating monarch butterflies. Cirque du Soleil JOYÀ – a night of fantasy and pulsating entertainment.

There are three show times available
1) Show at 19:00 with dinner at 18:00
2) Show at 21:00 with dinner at 20:00
3) Show at 22:15 with dinner at 21:15
Children between the ages of 3 and 9 years are eligible for a discounted price
Infants under 3 years are free but it is not recommended. They will not have an assigned seat, and parents must sign a waiver about the possibility of loud sounds and flashing lights. If an infant starts crying, parents may be asked to temporarily step outside the theatre

Would definitely recommend this experience. We booked the show with canapés and champagne which were presented and tasted amazing (even all the cutlery was edible ??). Seats had a great view and the area and show was spellbinding from start to finish. Only. Thing to raise is timings of the show are confusing on the ticket, 3 times are shown but think there is only one which starts at 20.00. We arrived at 19.00 for the pre show entertainment which was perfect.

The show itself was good but we booked drinks and canapes, on the ticket it said 7pm canapes,the rep said 1 hour in a taxi which took 30 mins. On arrival between5.30 till 6 ( not to be late ) we were told the show was not until 9pm and we could not be seated till 8.15.????. Why the ********** advertise canapes 7pm was stuck for 2hrs waiting. ????????

Excellent Show, however we booked for 7pm performance, we arrived in good time (5:30) as advised by TUI Rep to find performance had been changed to 9pm but we hadn't been informed, do had a long wait and additional Taxi charge due to waiting time

Enjoyed the show from start to finish. The only let down was the fact that I was asked for photo ID when getting our tickets which TUI didn’t suggest taking with us. After standing there not knowing what to do cause I didn’t have any for around 15 minutes, my son came across an old photo of his driving license on his phone which saved the day. Very stressful to say the least.

Once you are in the theatre the staff, food and show are incredible! It's everything before this that's naff. Transfers are not included nor is it particularly clear that they aren't included (extra 150 USD for us to get a taxi there and back) When you arrive it's not clear what's going on, and you are immediately pounced upon to spend money (photo shoot, pre-show drinks). When you have already spent more than £500 for a VIP experience this is definitely a bad first impression.
