Absolutely beautiful place & well worth a visit. When we arrived we had to follow our guide up to the entrance this was really difficult due to how busy the entrance was. We got picked up at 2.55pm arrived at the waterfalls at about 4pm it was about 4.30pm before we were inside & had to be back at the coach for 6pm. This was the only disappointing thing, felt like you were rushed and constantly checking the time. Would be nice to have stayed longer. Definitely take shoes to wear in the water.

After we had picked everyone up on the tour bus we had 2 hours at the falls. What we weren't made aware of was how long it would take to walk to the falls from where we got off the coach. The walk, the amount of steps involved. We had an hour in the actually waterfall and didn't get to see them all due to the lack of time.

We got picked up at 3 got there at 4. And had to be back at coach for 5.45 . Took us 20 mins for guide to show us were we were going . So left hour n 20 mins in waterfalls which was deffo not enough time .need at least 3 hours .

The waterfalls are beautiful and I would recommend them to anyone but not with transfer. We spent 2 hours on pickups and getting there and had 2 hours at the water falls before heading back to the hotel. 2 hours wasn't anywhere near enough for us so we were left disappointed. I would love to go again but would book a taxi next time.

It was very pretty although it was very busy. There was always a seat where you could relax and enjoy the scenery. Although it was busy the noise of the people was drowned out by the sound of the rushing water.

Great few hours out at the waterfalls. Not suitable for young children. (Not accessible with a buggy / narrow and unstable paths / ice cold water)

The tour was well organised, although the pick ups from all the hotels did drag a bit. Driver and escort were excellent. The Algar Waterfalls are a nice place to visit, although not the most impressive anywhere.
