Durante generaciones, los lugareños han conocido las cataratas del Algar como "la fuente de la salud", y con un rejuvenecedor chapuzón en sus transparentes pozas de agua en cascada, descubrirá por qué. Disfrute de una copa en el bar al pie de las cataratas o cene al aire libre en tranquilos merenderos a lo largo de la ribera: es una tarde para usarla como prefiera.Aunque sólo está a 15 km de Benidorm, Algar es un mundo aparte en cuanto a belleza natural. Con cascadas que desembocan en pozas de aguas cristalinas, a los lugareños les encanta refrescarse con un baño, y a usted también.Combata el calor vadeando suavemente o zambúllase desde la cornisa: es muy refrescante. Puede relajarse en las orillas cubiertas de pinos o instalarse en uno de los merenderos. Si lo prefiere, puede tomar algo en el bar situado al pie de las cataratas o parar a comer algo. Sea cual sea el modo en que pase la tarde, seguro que disfrutará de una zona tan impresionante que a menudo se utiliza como escenario para la televisión y el cine.

Didn't expect the almost sheer vertical climb to get to falls, and outdated wooden stair enjoyed the overall scenery and experience

We got picked up at 3 got there at 4. And had to be back at coach for 5.45 . Took us 20 mins for guide to show us were we were going . So left hour n 20 mins in waterfalls which was deffo not enough time .need at least 3 hours .

The waterfalls are beautiful and I would recommend them to anyone but not with transfer. We spent 2 hours on pickups and getting there and had 2 hours at the water falls before heading back to the hotel. 2 hours wasn't anywhere near enough for us so we were left disappointed. I would love to go again but would book a taxi next time.

It was very pretty although it was very busy. There was always a seat where you could relax and enjoy the scenery. Although it was busy the noise of the people was drowned out by the sound of the rushing water.

Great few hours out at the waterfalls. Not suitable for young children. (Not accessible with a buggy / narrow and unstable paths / ice cold water)

The tour was well organised, although the pick ups from all the hotels did drag a bit. Driver and escort were excellent. The Algar Waterfalls are a nice place to visit, although not the most impressive anywhere.
