Would you like to improve your culinary skills and have a fun learning experience? If so, this “Mojo Pícon and Canarian Potatoes” workshop is for you. An expert chef will guide you through the steps of making the typical mojo sauce. Plus, you'll indulge in tasting the mojo with Canarian potatoes and you have the choice of this with lunch or local wine tasting. A mojo workshop for children is another option and they all include an hour guided tour of the winery.
Breath in the fresh air and admire the stunning green vineyards, and the sky-sea combination surrounding the Bodegas Monjes in Sauzal. Then, feel your excitement as you take part in the hour-guided tour of the winery and enter the orange building. Next, hear about the mojo sauce of the Canary Islands. Discover how it can be red or green and made using coriander, parsley, or even pumpkin.
Test your creating skills as the chef guides you through the steps to achieve the best flavor and create your own Canarian mojo and try it with Canarian potatoes. If you choose the option with wine tasting you'll receive three glasses of local wine produced on-site. The option with lunch includes enjoying freshly baked bread with a selection of spreads (Watercress butter, spiced goat's cheese, and the Canarian chorizo called chorizo de Perro), thinly sliced cheese on toasted bread, followed by a shoulder of roast pork cooked in a firewood oven accompanied by sweet vegetables, almond mojo, Canarian potatoes and salad dressed in Monje Macho vinegar. For dessert, it's Canarian cream with "Hollera" Jam. The lunch includes coffee or tea and three glasses of wine with alternative fish or vegetarian dishes.
