Meet your host at the local operator's office, where you are provided with preliminary information in a multimedia video about Ancient Rome. Set off on foot with your host to the access of the Forum before beginning your self-guided visit.See the Roman Forum where everyday Roman citizens used to live, see the tomb of emperor Julius Caesar, and explore the ancient ruins at your own pace. Continue to Palatine Hill, the site of the foundation of Rome, and the settlement of the most important houses of emperors and kings.Step inside one of the world's most famous monuments, the Colosseum. Explore the immense amphitheatre, the largest ever built by the Roman Empire.Next, take in the highlights of the Vatican Museums on a self-guided tour. Wander through the Hall of Maps, Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of Tapestries, Gallery of Candelabrs, and Raphael Rooms. Access the Sistine Chapel and gaze up at the masterpiece on the ceiling.Admire the immense collection of art accumulated throughout Catholic history, including Roman sculptures and Renaissance gems, at your own pace. See masterpieces by Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms, and rest for a while in the Borgia Apartments.

The Roman Forum and Palatine must be visited for approximately 2 hours before accessing the Colosseum
Families with children will be escorted to the access of the Roman Forum
The Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel are closed on Sunday. Please note: if you book your experience on Sunday, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel can be visited on Monday
Please cover your shoulders and knees (shorts are not allowed) to visit the Sistine Chapel
The Vatican Museums reserve the right to close any section, including the Sistine Chapel, due to unforeseen circumstances. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund

Meeting point:
Please exchange your voucher at the Touristation Aracoeli. The Touristation office is not close to the Colosseum entrance, but is near Piazza Venezia. Look for a small fountain and orange flags outside the office. The time selected at the moment of booking refers to the meeting point time at the local operator's office. Please be on time, latecomers will not be accommodated.
