What to expect

Begin your day trip from San Pedro de Atacama with a pick-up.

Cejar Lagoon is located within the Salar de Atacama, 20 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama. It is recognized by the strong Calypso color of water and is surrounded by salts of various forms. Its waters, being saline, allow the bodies to float and remain without sinking, because the salt load is greater than the weight of the person.

The Atacameños called them Ojos del Salar because they are two blue lagoons of fresh water in the middle of the Salar de Atacama. Unlike the Cejar Lagoon and the Tebinquiche Lagoon, the Ojos del Salar lagoons are much deeper.

A divine lagoon formed thanks to the thaws and rains that fall during the year in the driest desert in the world. This wonder has a low depth (only a few centimeters), which allows it to resemble a huge mirror, which reflects the beauty of foxes, flamingos, and other birds in the area. With these amazing landscapes, you'll enjoy a cocktail contemplating the reflection of the Andes in its waters, along with the whiteness of the salt.

After your incredible experience in the Lagoons with beautiful landscapes, you'll return to San Pedro de Atacama. The drop off will be at the same point as where you were picked up or at the town square.
