Stel je een plek voor waar het zand van de woestijn is bestrooid met de magie van Hollywood. Deze tweedaagse tour neemt je mee naar enkele van beroemdste filmdecors van Tunesië. Je bezoekt een Romeins amfitheater, verkent ondergrondse grotwoningen, steekt een groot zoutmeer over en ontdekt een afgelegen oase aan de rand van de Sahara. The whole overall experience was good, the only thing we felt could have been better was the time in starwars set 20 min is too short to enjoy the whole experince with all tbe doff stalls plus to see set of star wars felt it was rushed needs around 45 mins for this to enjoy and embrace it all The stargazing was not even mentioned or done at hotel and the slight disappointing was the electricty had gone all night and was left without Ac in the sweltering heat but that cannot be helped

Fajnie zaplanowana trasa, dość dużo przystanków, które urozmaicają zwiedzanie. Najbardziej brakowało mi czasu w jednym miejscu Mosquee Okba Ibn Nafaa zostaliśmy "wysadzeni" przy sklepie i meczet oglądaliśmy z tarasu. 0,5h to zdecydowanie za mało. Oczekiwałbym 0,5h na taras i zakupy oraz kolejne 0,5h na zwiedzanie okolicy. Przewodniczka zwracała uwagę, że dla turystów w tym czasie nie ma możliwości wejścia do Meczetu, jednak z chęcią zwiedziłbym okolice. To był najsłabszy punkt wyjazdu.

The trip was absolutely amazing. The guide was fantastic and we learned so much about Tunisia as a whole as well as all the places we visited. You do need to make sure you have plenty of Tunisian Dinar for the trip, lots of stops for drinks none provided. There were a couple of stops where locals were persistent in pushing tourists to have photos with baby fennec foxes, these are protected animals and this is illegal our guide shrugged his shoulders when we pointed it out. Please don't do this

Hotel für Übernachtung alt ,esen nicht beschriftet, waser mit komischen gescma. Klimaanlage ganzer Nacht komisch gerochen. Warmes Wasser erste halbe Stunde Orange Farbe kommt, kaltes Wasser halbe Stunde kommt warm.

The whole experience was well worth the money, from the visit to the Colosseum to the camel ride at the end of the first day. The only let down for myself was the jeep safari on the second day, you start by going into the desert with it’s wonderful views and you get to visit a set from the first Star Wars movie, when you leave to go back instead of going back into the desert, you are taken vack to your bus on a main road which is really a letdown from the whole experience.

Most of the locations visited were interesting and we enjoyed the Star Wars locations, the Jeep safari was great fun but the travelling between some sites was long although our guide, Dali, excellent. The overnight hotel was basic but sufficient. The coach was very full, less people or a more spacious coach may have improved the travelling. If you book bring plenty of physical cash and swimming costumes for the overnight stay (the swimming pool was very very welcome). Stops and food ok.

Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Erlebnis das wir hier hatten. Eines der Themen sind aber die extrem überteuerten Getränke im Hotel. Hier wurden Preise aufgerufen die auch in Deutschland nicht billig wären. Als Familie mit Kindern geht das schnell ins Geld. Ansonsten war es ein rundherum gelungener Ausflug mit vielen eindrücken von Land und Leuten.

We enjoy all the experiences however by the time we reached lunch on 2nd day which was lovely we felt very tired and the last stop was a walk through streets whilst very hot and tired. The information given was interesting as all info was throughout the tour.

Service provided by staff on the coach / in the hotel was great. Coach could have been nicer for a long journey (particularly in terms of leg room). Hotel beds were firm and lacked a few amenities (such as a shower mounted to the wall). Tourists should be better advised around the risks associated with local merchants and how forceful they can be in trying to make sales. Guide had a hard job in charge of a large group and at times left slower members of the group behind. Great value.

Excellent trip, so glad we did it. It’s a long 2 days with early starts. Day 1 is definitely the highlight. There are plenty of toilet / refreshment stops however lunch on day 1 is quite late and on day 2 it’s quite early as long as you know to avoid buy unnecessary food at other stops. The guide and driver were both excellent and we learnt so much about Tunisia. We seemed always to be just ahead of a lot of other coach trips as we were always the first bus to arrive at the sites which was nice

The tour guide Hammedi was excellent - switching between English, French and German with ease. Day 1 was amazing … day 2 was good with the jeeps but after that, it was dull (ultimately because we had to get back)… also from the initial conversation we had with our TUI rep we had to leave earlier on the Thursday to get back later on the Friday …not a big deal but inaccurate

Excellent trip and so much to see and do. Well informed guide supported group throughout the 2 days. Great value for money, you do need to pay tourist tax, optional camel ride and drinks but all very reasonable prices. Guide advised on places to shop and those to avoid. It is 2 very long days, 900 miles covered , early starts but well worth doing

Der Guide und Fahrer, TUI Bus absolut gut! . Das Übernachtungshotel absolute Katastrophe! Zimmer schmutzig, Glastisch Fingerabdrücke, Überdecken dreckig! Überall Staub. Spinnen an den Wänden. Rezeption angerufen. Keiner kam… obwohl es hieß es kommt sofort jemand. Nach einer 1/4-1/2h ein zweites Mal angerufen. Danach noch mal. Dann kam jemand. Abends dann nochmal Spinnen! Absolut untragbar! 1/2 Stern… Wasser aus der Leitung war warm. Dieses Hotel ist nicht TUI entsprechend!

Guide (Hamadi) and driver (Sofien) were super friendly, helpful, and insightful. Locations were amazing and very varied. Included meals were delicious and at great locations which were as much highlights as the rest of the stops. Our needs were always considered, we always did exactly as much as we wanted to. This is an intensive trip which can be physically taxing for some less abled people, however the guide made every effort to accomodate and made the trip a delight.

Great tour guide and driver. Great itinerary. Best part of my trip for sure. The coliseum was incredible to see. The camel rides and jeeping through the desert was fantastic. And the star wars movie sets was bucket list items for fans. The guide was phenomenal and explained every aspect of the trip and sites in detail. Only thing i would change is stretch it by a half day.

The overnight stay hotel was not good the bedsheets were not washed and the room was very poor. But rest everything was brilliant. Loved the tour the guide especially the camel ride and the Sahara safari was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I believe Sahara and Tunisia being a hot country the tour should have provided water as that necessity and not luxury. Any other drinks , juices, coffee tea and alcohol is classed as luxury so that should be chargeable but not water.

Coliseum was amazing. Not enough time at the Luke Skywalker house. Mos Eisley is falling apart. No water supplied on the trip. 4X4 dessert safari was basically a drive on hard sand with 5 mins of driving over sand dunes which was the fun part!!

It was one of our favourite trips ever! The guide Mohammed was so knowledgeable and fun too. He kept us safe and told us so much about the country and also what to buy and what to avoid. The hotel in Douz was lovely with great buffet food. The experiences were brilliant: camel riding, 4by4 trip in desert, visit to El Jem and Kairouan, sunrise at the salt lake. Early starts and long coach journeys but broken up with lots of stops at cafes and small towns. So interesting and fun too.

Amor (driver) and Hamadi (guide) were excellent. There was a lot of driving and it was smooth and comfortable. Hamadi knows his stuff and had everyone where they needed to be on time. The Sahara sunrise was a good example. We ended up in a great spot just as the sun came up. El Jem was great, as we were there early it was not crowded. The children loved the 4x4 trip into the desert. Lots of fun. The Star Wars set in the desert (Mos Eisley) could do with a bit of work. It would be worth it

Busfahrer sehr nett und gesprächig. Leute sehr freundlich, Essen gut. Hotel nur 3 Sterne, uns wurden 4 Sterne versprochen. Zimmer waren verranzt, Überdecke und Deko Kissen dreckig. Aber Heizung hat sehr gut funktioniert. Versprochen war der Sternenhimmel in der Wüste, den haben wir nicht gezeigt bekommen. Am besten war Sonnenaufgang am Salzsee, aber es war viel zu wenig Zeit. Dafür hätte man andere Stops kürzen können. Toiletten unterwegs waren großteils sauber, ausreichend Pausen.

Really enjoyed the 4 x 4 experience and the camel ride (camel ride was extra but worth it). There is alot of distance covered on the coach but we were expecting that. Very early starts but again we were aware and it was so worth it to see the sunrise over the salt lake. Very well organised trip.

Overall review is that I thought it was good, however there is a few additional fees like the cameral ride or horsee ride in douz requires 50 dinir and feels like you are al most required to tip. This was great fun tho and a good experience for an hour camel ride. Bring lots of money. The tour guide was very informative and recommended wheres the cheapest places and best to buy certain items. Both star wars scenes where very run down and especially the Town hotel rooms are very dated and uncomfy

Der Ausflug war sehr schön und anstrengend. Es gibt viel zu sehen. Zu kritisieren ist lediglich das Hotel im welchen die Übernachtung stattfand. Das ist absolut abgewohnt und entspricht keinem Standard mehr. Trinkgelder werden erwartet, was aber niemanden verwundern sollte.

Too long on bus to/from places, roman theater was a let down, full of pigeons, Star Wars aspects were both dated/tacky, lunch on both days cold, overnight hotel basic, not 4*, cold food, gap round bedroom door, dark room, no safe, rude staff, jeep safari fun but the jeep seen better days, broken headrest, broken seatbelt, drivers mirror held together with tape, seats dusty and cramped, went to salt lake but lake was dry, went to mosque but it was closed, lots of time spent on coffee/toilet stop

Excellent trip of many Tunisian highlights, well organised and efficient. Some long drives in a comfortable bus enjoying interesting scenery, plus a jeep safari in the desert. Lovely desert scenery, fascinating Berber villages, and stunning photo ops at El Jem and Kairouan. Guide and driver very good. Although a busy trip, we had enough time everywhere. Bring a scarf or face covering for the desert, and remember nights can be cold in the desert. The food and accommodation are fine.

Note: 4: Enttäuschend. Die Sahara ist beeindruckend, die Tour nicht. Unterkunft kalt, veraltet und unsauber – nach langen Fahrtzeiten unzumutbar. Ständig Zusatzkosten: Programmpunkte extra, Einzelzimmerzuschlag, erneut Touristensteuer, permanenter Trinkgeld-Druck. Verständnis für die Lage vor Ort ja, aber ich kann nicht überall zahlen. Unbedingt Getränke mitnehmen, Stopps sind rar. Deutsche Tour gebucht, überwiegend Englisch. Einziger Pluspunkt: Fahrer & Reiseleiter Note 1.

The 2 day tour was great. Excellent guide and driver. The only slightly negative comments would be the hotels used as an overnight stay and lunch on day 2 were not great. Very cold rooms in the sun palm oasis hotel. Otherwise it was excellent.

The trip over all was good coach journey there a back was a bit uncomfortable for leg room good job they stopped for breaks every few hours . Over all very interesting trip . People need to be reminded to take cash as a few people did not and made there trip less fun as you do have to pay for things along the way .

De reis was fenomenaal! Op tijd koffie en toilet, programma uitstekend. Lunch in grot was perfect, in laatste hotel minder namelijk koude waterige soep, we ontbijt l lekker stuk vlees, desert was een sinaasappel.. De kamelentocht en ook met wagentje was veel te vol en te luidruchtig. Heb dit vroeger met kleine groep gedaan, dat was bijna sereen... De woestijntocht was PERFECT, score 300% Slaapkamer was ok, bed en kamer prima, avondmaal koud en acceptabel..ontbijt ok

The overall tour was excellent and the guid very informative throughout. On the negative side. Very early starts (04:00) leading to long days which isn't mentioned when booking. Also with a full coach it does seem very cramped when travelling to and between the sites and stops, some of which are over 3 hours.

Must-do excursion when in Tunisia. The long time on the bus is worth the different visits. Amount of free time at different locations is sufficient. Wonderful guide and bus driver ! Pleasant 2-day visit ! Some points for improvements. Lunch on 2nd day in “so-called” 5-star hotel was far from good and staff was not friendly. Hotel for the night was also outdated and heating was broken (we had to wait too long for a fix).

It was a fantastic trip. The guide DALI was very friendly and was excellent in communicating. I learned from him a lot about Tunisian history. It is worth to make it again. I suggest to plan the trip over 3 days instead of 2.

Die Tour war stressig, aber das war es durchaus wert. Der Reisebegleiter war perfekt, besser geht's kaum. Er hat alle Fragen beantwortet und hat sich Zeit genommen. Das Wüstenhotel ist nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert. Das Personal unfreundlich und lässt es jeden Spüren, das wir nur 1 Nacht Touristen waren. Ansonsten echt perfekt.

We enjoyed the 4x4 and the colosseum. We felt let down by all of the rest. The guide charged us 124DT for the hotel and we could did not have enough left for the camel ride. On the second day the "Instagram worthy photo opportunity" in your information did not happen, and we had a shown the outside of the mosque before being wisked away to a shop and for 30 mins , some of the guests didn't even get of the bus as they were so disappointed. Then a 3 hour back.I will be complaining to yourselves

The tour was fantastic and incredibly good value. The add on of the camel ride for a few extra pounds was incredible. The hotel for the overnight stay was very basic, but everything worked. The only complaint I would have was that at the hotel non of the food was labelled at either dinner or breakfast, meaning it was very difficult to tell what you were getting. As someone with dietary preferences, this was really not acceptable.

Die Zeit, die wir an manchen Orten hatten, war etwas knapp bemessen, um sie eingehender zu erleben. Gerade in der Wüste ging es mir zu schnell weiter. 1200 km in zwei Tagen ist schon eine gewaltige Strecke und dementsprechend erschöpfend. Für die Sandwüste reicht es in 2 Tagen nicht und eine Übernachtung in einer Höhle in Matmata wird nicht mehr angeboten, schade. Der Reiseführer (Herr Mohamed) ist sehr kompetent, freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Er kümmert sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste.

Wir (3 Erwachsene) fanden das Kolosseum und die Erlebnisse in der Wüste (Jeepfahrt/Dünen, Starwars-Dorf, Kamelritt, Sonnenuntergan/-aufgang) am besten. Hotel und Verpflegung waren gut und angemessen. Der erste Starwarshalt ist etwas eingeschränkt begeisternd, da gefühlt etwas konstruiert - zum Glück gibt's aber den zweiten. Die Fahrt ist mit 1.200km natürlich lang und fordert einen, dafür hat man aber bleibende Erinnerungen. Das Programm ist insgesamt gut abgestimmt.

The bus journey was very long - nothing in the advert suggested 8 hours each day on a bus, so just be honest about that. Some stops were very short - 20 minutes at the mosque for a quick peek inside from a rooftop, but no opportunity to go inside or walk around. Children under 12 should not be allowed on the trip, as it’s not suitable for them. We had multiple children 2-4 years old constantly crying on the bus, which was not pleasant.

The TUI rep was not aware of the updated price of the optional camel ride. We would have appreciated more information at the Colosseum and at the Mosque. I would have appreciate a heads-up of the long time to be spent in the bus. The accomodation was poorly with no indication of what food was served or if it was spicy or not and the waiters were rather unfriendly. tlThe overall experience was nice!

This was a fantastic experience. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Definitely worth the money. We came in with low expectations and this adventure exceeded it and made our holiday special. The one improvement we agreed on is providing the guests with a programme so we have an idea what is taken place at each time. But apart from that it was all good. The tour guide was excellent & did a really good job.

The trip was lovely however sitting on a coach 12 hours there and 14 hours back was too long and I think it might be better if you pre warn people so they can ensure that they got plenty of snacks and drink beforehand. Throughly enjoyed stops apart from the last day lunch as the food wasn’t very pleasant .

Trip overall was excellent. Would have liked more time on the Sahara in the jeeps. Felt the star wars set was a bit of a let down as it was beginning to fall to pieces. The overnight hotel was not very nice and the food was not good at all, drinks were very expensive. The stop for lunch on day 2 was not good at all. It would also have been helpful if we had been told at the last stop on the bus on day 1 was the last place you are able to get cash as cash was all you could use on trip.

Overall the trip was good. The guide and driver excellent. We were disappointed at the accommodation for the overnight stay broken and sharp shower screen. We never got to see the sunrise as promised as we were driving. The star was set was fantastic. I don't think that if we have already paid to be all inclusive we should have to pay for drinks. They could over at least one complimentary.

Gisteravond terug gekomen van de tweedaagse Saharaexcursie. We hebben erg van deze excursie genoten. Vooral het rijden op kamelen door de Sahara bij zonsondergang was echt onvergetelijk. Ook de rit in de jeeps door de zoutvlakte was geweldig. Het waren wel twee erg vermoeiende dagen door de lange busrit, maar dat zullen we waarschijnlijk snel vergeten.

De tour was indrukwekkend door de kameelrit en de Star Wars-locaties, maar verder viel het erg tegen. De kameel kost €15 extra, terwijl de jeep en zoutmeer gratis zijn. Je zit vooral lange uren in de bus, waardoor het erg vermoeiend is. De route gaat door sterk vervuilde gebieden vol plastic. Overnachting en lunch waren slecht: koud eten, vieze borden en een verouderd hotel met onvriendelijk personeel. Het eten was pittig en drinken moest apart betaald worden.

The amount of time on the coach was a bit long even though we stopped every 1 to 2 hrs for a toilet break and drink. It was a shame we missed the sunset on the camels as we was early. The hotel for overnight stay was good and food was alright. The 4x4 to see where star wars was filmed was really good. Felt safe shame there wasn’t more going up and down the dunes on way back. Loved it though.

Would have preferred for all to have slept in tents to experience the night sky in Sahara, which was a selling point from our TUI rep. I am a long term Star Wars fan so I looking forward to seeing and experiencing the film locations and Star Wars associated events. Unfortunately the main attraction of Luke's house was for some reason not part of the tour. I now have a claim for compensation from the TUI customer services for the contract entered on paying for the trip not being fulfilled. All in all the trip was good but the fact the main attraction was omitted is truly disappointing.

Es haben Kinder im Kinderwagen teilgenommen! Die Zeit bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten war stark begrenzt da Kaufangebote bei den Pausen forciert wurden, es wirkte wie eine Kaffeefahrt wo einem dauernd irgendwelche Waren angeboten wurden was am 2. Tag in einer Teppichhandlung Gipfelte! Das Hotel war heruntergekommen und das Personal unfreundlich! Sogar wähdes Kamelritts hat man übelst versucht Waren zu verkaufen usw.

Guide und Fahrer waren sehr höflich und kompetent. Das Hotel in der Wüste sowie die beiden Mittagessen waren in Ordnung, das Kolosseum und Jeep-Safari auch. Der Kamel-Ritt war sehr enttäuschend, vom Reiseleiter beworben wurde ‚eine Stunde bei Sonnenuntergang in der Sandwüste‘, die Runde hätte ohne ständige Pausen aber höchstens 30 Min gedauert, dazwischen sind Quads gefahren, und Sonnenuntergang war erst eine Stunde später. Leider teils aufdringliche Angebote, Tierbabys zu streicheln/füttern.

Very early start both days but needed and worth it for the sunrise on the second day. It's a long journey 1300 kms/812mls there and back,the food was okay and plenty of rest breaks.really enjoyed the camel ride at the end of day one.the overnight stay at the hotel was okay,basic room ,food okay very friendly staff.very early start on the second day,3.30am but great to see the sunrise over the Sahara.. the 4x4 ride across the Sahara was brilliant. overall a great trip.

Was really excited about seeing Luke Skywalkers home, this is not part of the experience, you see Tatooine but Luke’s home is not there. The 4x4 experience is not advertised as off roading in the desert, awful. The stops all felt quite rushed, El Jem you have an hour, now keep in mind you’ve been up since 4am it’s 8:30 and you are hungry, as breakfast isn’t included, it’s not enough time to view el jem and find something to eat, the bus is long. 600km each day. Hotel was awful, dated and dirty.

Overall we had a fantastic time however we would liked more time at the colosseum We were not made aware of the length of time we would be on the bus From being picked up at 5.30 we didn’t get to the hotel until 7pm. Was told the camel ride would be at sunset it wasn’t on day 2 day started at 4am And not back to our hotel until 6.30pm Would have preferred to go to salt lake then the jeep drive and then come straight back The stop to look at the carpets was in our opinion a waste of time

The food and accommodation throughout this trip was really average or below - needs a re-think. Stopping at the side of the road on day 2 to see the sunset was not quite the romantic ‘see the sunrise over the salt lakes’ that you imagine. The camel and jeep safaris were excellent. The guide was informative generally though an hour at El Jem exploring with no guide (at what is a poorly-maintained historical attraction) was not great. Without information, suggest limiting this to 30 mins.

Die 2 Tage Tour war klasse, sehr viele Informationen rund um Land und Leute. Die Foto Stops waren super. Das Berberhaus hat mir nicht so gefallen, aber ich denke der Reiseführer musste das anfahren weil vor den anderen Häusern bereits 3 Busse standen und damit es sich besser verteilt haben wir uns eben dieses angeschaut. Grundsätzlich habe ich einen Eindruck bekommen wie die Berberfamilien früher dort gelebt haben. Zur Übernachtung hätte ich mir ein 4 Sterne Hotel gewünscht, ansonsten TOP

Amazing experience from start to finish. Felt very safe going by myself. Tui rep, Hamdi, and driver did an amazing job. Just one thing! Last evening at Golden Yasmin Hotel. In the restaurant, one of the young waiters was putting money into his pocket when guests paid him directly. Could have been tips. There were no prices shown for drinks. He attempted to charge me 60 TD for 1 bottle of white wine and 1bottle of water. But when queried, he dropped the cost to 54/55 TD.

The camels and the sun set were the highlight. The sun rise and the 4x4 trips was also good. The early start and the hours travelling were the down side. More time at the colliseum would have been good. Just a little rushed when you were off the bus.

As a family we thoroughly enjoyed all of the experience particularly the camels in the desert. One family member enjoyed the Star Wars experience and the amenities at the desert hotel was brilliant. (You have to remember you are in the desert. Our expectations were exceeded). Swimming under the stars was fabulous). Experience needed 3 days. The guide - DALI (Mohammed Ali) was fantastic and made the trip very enjoyable. His knowledge and providing for all the visitors was fantastic. The trip over two days were long, however, there was plenty of stops. The Sahara sunset was amazing. The Jeep safari was one of the highlights. Sunrise on the salt plains was fantastic. Karouan could have been a little longer. This I felt was too short.

This was the best trip. Beautiful country and beautiful people. I highly recommend visiting Sakhalin, this is an unforgettable experience. The guide Hamdi is very professional and very interestingly told the history of Tunisia. Every two hours there were stops to go and buy souvenirs. A very well-built route will allow you to see the sights and nature of Tunisia. The hotel we staid over nightwas very nice. The staff who serviced the hotel were very high up. Camel ride was unforgettable.

Colosseum & die verschiedenen Wüsten waren beeindruckend. Dromedarausflug in die Wüste mit Sonnenuntergang ebenso. Der JeepRide hat alle begeistert. Kairouan mit der Moschee war auch sehr pittoresk und eine hübsche mediterrane Stadt! Insgesamt doch ganz schön viel Busfahrerei… Aber man muss ja überall hinkommen. Das Übernachtungshotel war deutlich besser als erwartet, für die Kinder war das Essen etwas exotisch ??. All in all ein toller Ausflug, der sich für uns alle sehr gelohnt hat

Sehr schöne Tour und erlebnisreiche Tour. Der Reiseleiter war super. Er gab uns im Bus spannende Infos zu Land, Leuten und den Sehenswürdigkeiten und vor Ort dann jeweils noch relevante Kurzinfos. Top. Alles in sehr gutem Deutsch und Englisch. Meine Highlights: Jeeptour zum Star Wars Dorf, Kamelritt in der Wüste, Stopp im Salzsee. Negativ: Man sitzt sehr viel und lange im Bus zwischen den einzelnen Stationen. Teilweise ist die Zeit vor Ort knapp kalkuliert und sehr viele Touris + Busse.

Very nice trip, well organized. The only thing I didn’t like was that you have to pay for your drinks during meals regardless that the food was provided and it was very good. It was a lot of driving but well worth because you get to visit a lot of attractions and you get to see a lot of the country. The guid was very nice and knowledgeable, in my opinion well worth the money and time highly recommend.

Výlet byl úplne úžasný. Krásné výlhedy, momenty strávené na sahare a milý pruvodce. Akorát jsme nedostali informace, že budeme muset ješte pár vecí doplácet, jakožto drink u obedu nebo pokoj v jednom z hotelu ci jízdu na velbloudovi. To je asi jediné co bych vytkla, ale rozhodne tento výlet doporucuji každému, kdo sem pojede. Pozor na obchodníky na poušti, hlavne na ty s fenky.

Far too long on the coach to see very little at the end of the journeys. Poor quality food at the last hotel which was supposed to be 5* !! To see the mosque at end of day two you have to walk through a shop & have a carpet salesman pitch his sales at you. I asked the TUI Rep if there was any carpet/perfume stops (because I don't like them!) he said there was not - a blatant lie. Drinks & snacks very expensive where we had to stop. A 3.15am start should have been explained prior to booking.

Die Klima wurde im Bus und im Jeep unzureichend genutzt. Weitere Kosten wie eine erneute Hotelsteuer wurde bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt. Es hieß der Bus ist deutschsprachig und im Endeffekt waren es drei Sprachen, was das zuhören vom Reiseleiter anstrengend macht. Die Verpflegung war top! Innerhalb kürzer Zeit wurde auch ein Ersatzbus organisiert, da der erste kaputt ging, das war erstaunlich das es so schnell ging!

The hotel they took us to was meant to be 4 star. The hotel air con did not work so we melted. The food was inedible. Lots of the food was raw. Last but not least we had a cockroach in the bedroom. I know the trip is only over night trip. They need to sort out that hotel. The actual trip was fun. The guide was amazing.

Understandably it’s a lot of travelling but I felt the travel on the second day just to see the outside of a mosque and a very small shop wasn’t worth the length of time. This part could be changed. The hotel was basic but fine. The food provided was adequate for adults but i certainly think some allowances should be made for kids to include more basic options like chips and chicken nuggets for fussy eaters

Intéressant de découvrir le pays au-delà de l'enceinte d'un club de vacances. Les paysages sont beaux. L'expérience vécue sur le site de tournage de la guerre des étoiles est émouvante. Mais le tout est beaucoup trop coûteux en temps puisque deux jours sont consacrés. Et en argent puisque en comptant les options que sont l'hôtel (taxes et chambre séparée), les boissons, et le tour en chameaux, on dépasse les €500 pour 3 personnes. Gros bémol au niveau du temps passé en bus : plus de 15 heures

Przygoda zycia. Zobaczylismy wiele, od glównych atrakcji turystycznych, po codzienne zycie ludzi mieszkajacych w glebi kraju. Zachód slonca na Saharze i wschód slonca nad jeziorem zostana w pamieci juz na zawsze. Na wycieczke pojechalismy z dziecmi 4 i 9 lat - bez problemu daly rade, pomimo wczesnych pobudek.

Die Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Busfahrt zu den einzelnen Stopps ging nie länger als 2 Stunden und es gab regelmäßige Pausen. Der Fahrer „Omar“ und unser Tourguide „Chokri“ waren klasse und haben alles gegeben. :-) Wir haben in der kurzen Zeit sehr viel von Tunesien gesehen. Das Colosseum, das Haus im Berberdorf und die Fahrt in der Wüste waren absolute Highlights! 10/10 recommend!

Would have given 10/10 however one element of the itinerary was missed. "The rock cut village of Matmata to explore". We didn't stop here but just one home, we were expecting a village. The other downs were the hotel in Doux, apart from the reception area, seemed very dated, make sure you take the 2 pin plugs (like the UK shaver plugs) we didn't. We didn't use the pool, it was extremely busy. Overall, a great experience I'd recommend.. WOW ! Lots of travel and 4 am starts both days Saw loads

Amazing tour. Get to see so much in 2 days. Tour guide very knowledgeable. Only thing to think about before booking is can you tolerate being on a bus for best part of 10 hours over the 2 days and very early starts (4am) we think worth it but if can't sit that long or have little ones might be difficult.

Natürlich muss man viel Bus fahren, aber die Sahara ist nunmal ca. 500 km von Hammamet entfernt. Wir sind mit den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten ca. 1200 km in zwei Tagen abgefahren. Man sieht wirklich unheimlich viel. Ich würde für ein bisschen extra Geld auch den Kamelritt (eigentlich sind es Dromedare) machen, weil das wirklich ein unvergessliches Erlebnis ist. Das Essen an den verschiedenen Orten ist mehr als in Ordnung. Im Übernachtungshotel war es nur etwas zu scharf für mich.

This was a brilliant excursion that made our trip to Tunisia, featuring many beuatiful sights and landscapes. From El Jem to the desert in Douz and Tozeur, the jeep ride, the Star Wars sets and finally the visit to Kairouan. Our guide Mo and driver Bashir ensured we were safe and well informed throughout the journey. There were plenty of options for vegetarians and the accomodation overnight in Douz was comfortable. The distance covered by coach is long, but this was offset by fabulous memories.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Yes it had early starts both days with a lot of things to do every day. But Mohammed our guide made the experience enjoyable and informative. Tariq our driver was absolutely brilliant. One thing I would say is the hotel Douz could be better especially food wise. Rooms were fine for spending one night but food could be better. Es wurden alle Sehenswürdigkeiten mit ausreichend Zeit und vielen Informationen besichtigt, daher würden wir es auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen Das Hotel war allerdings dreckig, eiskalt da ohne Heizung (Dezember) und das Essen ungenießbar. Negativ aufgestoßen ist uns, dass der Tourguide darum gebeten hat den Personen beim Kamelritt oder Berghöhle Münzen als Trinkgeld zu geben. Als es um sein Trinkgeld ging, sagte er Münzen sind nichts Wert und man gibt Scheine.

L'excursion de 2 jours était vraiment cool ! Quelques arrêts sont "uniquement" pour wc ou café, mais au vu du nombre d'heures dans le car c'est une ********** chose :) Le guide (Chokri?) était attentionné et sympathique et parlait différentes langues. Un grand merci à lui de m'avoir mise en contact dès le matin avec un groupe de personnes parlant l'espagnol, ça m'a permis de passer 2jours encore plus fun ! Les paysages sont magnifiques, et l'expérience tout autant.

Problème on nous dit pas que il y a 6h minimum de cars par jours. Que les boissons sont payantes , premier hôtel ou on dort est lamentable et puant . Désolé de dire la vérité. Goede bus met vakkundige chauffeur. De gids (MO) was ook een fijne man. Het hotel in Douz was op zichzelf niet slecht, wel matige bedden. De camelride is niet inclusief maar wel een echte aanrader. Bij de afsluiting ging het even wat mis met de gids; een aantal Spanjaarden hadden voor 6 personen in totaal 1 euro fooi gegeven. Dat was tegen de eer van de beste man. Hij nam stelling, geef niks of een fatsoenlijke tip. Dat gaf even wat ongemak in de bus. Maar ben je in de gelegenheid? Zeker doen.

Alle bezienswaardigheden waren heel mooi. De eerste dag maak je veel mooie stops. De hotelkamer was helemaal prima, maar het diner daarentegen was een ordinaire eetzaal. Hou er rekening mee je eigen drinken mee te nemen!! Dit zit er niet bij ingegrepen. De jeeptour op de tweede dag is echt heel gaaf. De verdere tops op de tweede dag waren niet bijzonder. Je zit veel in de bus op de tweede dag. Het is je geld waard!

Der geschichtliche Hintergrund der verschiedenen Orte wurde von unserem Guide super erklärt. Er hat alles in deutsch, englisch und französisch erklärt und sich für jeden Gast individuell nochmal Zeit genommen. Es wurden genügend Pausen gemacht und man hatte ausreichend Zeit, alles zu erkunden. Es war zwar anstrengend, aber ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Das Hotel in Douz ist okay, aber für eine Nacht in Ordnung und zudem sehr günstig.

Really enjoyed this. 4x4 racing across the desert was the best part. Lot of coach travel which is unavoidable. Bring swimming kit for overnight stay at hotel. Expect very very early starts!

Die Fahrt insgesamt war etwas lange und man musste überall seine Getränke selbst bezahlen. Bei Temperaturen um 38 grad hat man dementsprechend viel trinken müssen. Die Reise war aber super und jedem der nach Tunesien reist zu empfehlen. Das Colosseum, die Höhlenwohnung in Matmata und vor allem das Kamelreiten in der Wüste sind absolute Highlights. Sehr eindrucksvoll war auch nach dem frühen aufstehen der Sonnenaufgang über dem Salzsee. Auch die Tour mit Jeep war lustig. Alles in allem Top ????

Mo and Omar were amazing. Omar’s driving was brilliant and Mo was friendly, professional and we were so impressed with his knowledge and language skills. The hotel was less impressive, a bit dated and the food was not great (not a lot of choice for kids).

A lot of time on the coach but overall a good experience: Suprised by how dirty And how litter was in some areas visited: hotel is the desert was not great - cockroach in room and food quality poor. Biggest objection was stop at “mosque and shopping centre” on way home: this was a thinly veiled disguise at taking us to a carpet shop. The visit to the mosque was actually of being taken to a very hot roof for a birdseye view of the mosque before having to sit through a sales pitch for rugs.

Reis was goed georganiseerd en verliep volgens aangegeven planning. Genoeg stops tussendoor wat erg fijn was met de warmte. Vriendelijke gids en veilige tour dankzij professionele buschauffeur. Dromedarisrit was mega tof evenals de jeeptour sahara. Realiseer je wel dat het land anders is als eu, meer armoede en vervuiling van plastic langs de wegen. Bevolking is super vriendelijk. Andere bezichtigingen zoals o.a. het collusseum en berbergrot waren ook heel gaaf. Moskee was minder.

I thought the Sahara experience was amazing. Very good value for money. It was quite a long journey but it was broken up well with visits to different sights. The only thing I would advise is to tell the driver of the 4x4 (great driver) to advise passengers to wear their seat belts. It was an exciting experience and I loved it.

This two day trip was absolutely fantastic, the entire trip was full of different experiences from visiting the colosseum to visiting the set from Star Wars to riding camels in the desert. Both the guide and driver were superb and despite over 1200km being covered the time passed well with plenty of comfort breaks and stops to see things/take photos. The only things that I would ask Tui to improve would be to provide free water on the coach and a better hotel in Douz

De hele trip is een prachtige ervaring. Het Colosseum, de grotwoningen, dromedaristocht, zoutmeer, de jerptocht met de StarWars set zijn allemaal indrukwekkend en zeer de moeite wasrd. Er is echter een groot nadeel aan de trip. We kregen sterk de indruk dat de gids bij alle stops wilde dat we vooral veel kochten en vooral veel fooi moesten geven. Prachtige excursie met een zeer goede gids. Wij zijn echt hee blij dat we deze trip gemaakt hebben. 1300 km pracht en praal in de Sahara , we werden er stil van, zo adembenemend! Heel veel interessante dingen gezien, zoals het amphitheater , berber huis en de kamelentocht. Een echte aanrader!

Best parts are the Sahara camel ride and 4x4 jeep excursion to the Star Wars film set - the set itself is underwhelming though. This is also a great way to see the south of Tunisia including key sites - El Jem Colosseum, Matamata for the Star Wars hotel and Berber villages, and the different coloured salt springs. The guide Mohammed is informative and entertaining, which is needed for the long hours of travelling - most of the time it's spent on the bus! We hardly had any time in Kairouan.

Loved this 2 day trip, bus ride is hard work but well worth the drive, plenty stops and site seeing. Once you arive camels are great experience, I payed extra to ride the quads worth every penny, was best part of the trip flying around the dunes and sand for a hour, what an experience ??. After stopped in the hotel it was okay for a night I guess, early wake up at 3am but worth it to see the sunrise across the desert, you are lost for words when you see it. 4x4 was brilliant to. Worth it all day

Didn’t like: Being lied to by the guide so he could ensure a better commission by us spending additional money. Not going to the mosque as detailed, but going to a carpet factory so the guide could get more commission. Not being told that day 2 started with a 3.30am wake up call. Falsely sold a camel ride as the guide told us we would have to wait by the roadside for an hour if we didn’t. However, we went to the hotel first which the guide had not told us we would be doing. Es ist auf jeden Fall ein Erlebnis.Unser Reiseleiter Mo war einfach nur spitze.Unser Fahrer hat uns sicher ans Ziel gebracht und auch wieder zurück.es waren genügend Pausen zwischendurch.Das einzig Negative war das Hotel zur Übernachtung.Das golden Tulip war das schlimmste,was ich je erlebt habe.Dreckige Zimmer,das Bad war nur mit Schuhen zu begehen, einfach nur eklig.Abendessen so naja und zum Frühstück gab es die Brotreste vom Abendessen.Einzig positiv,es hatte einen schönen Pool.

Guide was very knowledgable and humourous, made the excursion memorable. Shame it was a cloudy morning for the salt lake sunrise but couldn't be helped. I would bring some tissues for the toilet for the first stop at the El Jem colluseum as there's none available! Great trip jam packed with many experiences

Didn’t like how the camel/quad bike was deemed to be optional but was an integrated part of the day - if you didn’t take up the option, you were left waiting for two hours+ at a small cafe with no activities/on the bus with no guide or driver. Drop off at the hotel or make it part of the tour

I enjoyed the whole trip. I am a city growing person and have never ever been in desert before the trip, so why not try. The price is 40dinar per person including camel ride, jeep tour in the desert, natural scenery visit, pick up transport, hotel and meal. I cannot find any reason not to choose the trip.

El guía fue espectacular, nos dio datos históricos así como forma de vida de los tunecinos. El tour de motos bastante largo y divertido, así como el tour con camellos. Nos encantó el poder presenciar un atardecer en el desierto del Sahara así como un amanecer en las minas de sal. La visita a la casa bajo tierra también fue fenomenal. Gefallen hat uns die Organisation, Guide,dass die Händler an isolierten Haltepunkten zurückhaltend waren, die Spots die angefahren wurden und unser Highlight Quadtour, Kamelreiten Jeeps. Was fehlte: es war teilweise etwas oberflächlich an den Spots, dort hätten wir uns manchmal mehr Führung und Insiderwissen gewünscht. Wir haben so schon mehr vom Land gesehen als nur das Hotel aber es hätte noch etwas authentischer sein können. Die Moschee von oben aus der ferne könnte man auch weglassen.

Absolutely fabulous 2 day excursion. So many sights and activities crammed in. The best value for money ever. Lots of travelling so I recommend you take a neck cushion and plenty of water and snacks. Wonderful early morning start for the sunrise at the salt lake. I do recommend the optional camel ride and quad bike trip in the sahara.

Heel vol en gevarieerd programma, maar je hebt wel het gevoel dat je iets van het land ziet! Daar heb je graag al die uren in de bus voor over. I commend our guide Mohammed- he taught us about the history, culture, climate, vegetation, religion! Such an expert! Please add no drinks would be provided - including water. Water is a given in the UK and we paid a lot for it on some stops. If we had known we would have brought more with us. Would have been nice to be aware of the distance we would cover on the coach, we had no idea we would be traversing over 500 miles and I would have been more prepared for such a long time on the coach.

This is a very long and tiring trip but an amazing experience overall. There were some quite small children on our bus who struggled with the long days, I would not recommend this for children under 6. Also, the marketing suggests that there are Star Wars set visits on both days, leadng us to assume we would be visiting the actual 'Skywalker homestead' set at Matmata (Hotel Sidi Idriss) which was not the case. The only Star wars connection on day 1 is the general landscape around Matmata.

Insgesamt ein sehr tolles Erlebnis. Das es insgesamt eine lange Busfahrt ist ist an sich logisch und damit muss man rechnen, wie will man sonnst zu den Filmkulissen und den Wüsten-Parts kommen. Die Pausen wurden gut gewählt und man hat bei den verschiedenen Aktivitäten einen guten Einblick erhaschen können. Im Rahmen der Zeit und der Möglichkeiten ist es gut von Tourguide Moe und Fahrer Edi organisiert gewesen.

An incredible 2 day tour, you see so much in such a short space of time. From the Colusseum to quad biking and camel rides at sunset on the Sahara, and so much more in between, it was thoroughly enjoyable albeit tiring. Mo the tour guide was fab! It is early starts to cram everything in, do bring an overnight bag as you’ll want a fresh change after a day of travelling and being in the desert. Well worth the money, an amazing experience!

Die Tour ist cool und empfehlenswert, aber es gibt Dinge die man vorher hätte wissen müssen. Z.B. das man bestimmt 12h Bus fährt, man sieht dabei sehr schöne Landschaften aber mit der Zeit wird es langweilig. Hätte ich das gewusst hätte ich ne Serie runtergeladen und Kopfhörer mitgenommen. Man hält insgesamt an 2 Restaurants und einem Hotel an wo man überall seine Getränke bezahlen muss. man macht auch mehrere 15 min Pausen wo man sich Snacks und trinken holen kann nehmt also genug Dinar mit

As a basic, to introduce a bit about Tunisian this excursion would be fine but need improvements. 1/food for lunch was absolutely disgusting and me as vegetarian/vegan didn’t eat it. 2/ not enough time to explore some places 3/ the hotel wasn’t even 3* (but very happy with dinner, not breakfast) and paying extra 33DT because of solo traveler is not fair at all 4/ Tui should say in advance that no drinks included during those two days 5/ we didn’t stop on all places like other groups

Really enjoyed the trip, quite a lot of coach travel but frequent stops. The only thing I was disappointed with was the quad bike ride in the desert, I was expecting to let rip over sand dunes but what you get is a follow the leader affair at frustratingly slow speeds. The overnight hotel is not as fancy as the all inclusives but still very nice. The lunches were also good, especially on the second day, provided at at a beautiful traditional 5 star Hotel. All in All excellent value for money ??

The quad bikes on the Sahara were fantastic, as was the sunrise on the salt lake. I wouldn't recommend the camel ride though. While the ride itself was great, I witnessed the camels being punched and hit numerous times so immediately felt uncomfortable that I was funding it so I wouldn't do it again

Loved the sites visited - tour guide Mohammed as very entertaining. Would have been nice to go inside the mosque but I understand that might not be possible. Really enjoyed the additional quad biking experience on the Sahara. There are long periods on the coach and I think this should be made more clear at time of booking. I’m not sure it’s really appropriate for very young children. There’s really too long on the coach for young children.

Fantastic trip; highly recommended if you enjoy exploring & don’t mind the travel time (our coach had good air con & we brought travel pillows). Great learning about past & current Tunisian life. Highlights: 4x4 sand dunes & camel ride. Restaurants catered for vegan. The hotel was good (clean + pool, room air con less effective than usual, so travel fans useful although not essential). Teilweise hat die Tour sehr stark an eine Kaffeefahrt erinnert. Der Guide bewirbt ständig den letzten Stopp wo man nur in einem überteuerten Basar mit Festpreisen gelotst wird. Allgemein war es bei den Stationen ein großes Gehetze. Gesehen von den Städten hat man nichts. Trotzdem ist das Erlebnis mit Wüste, 4x4, Kamele und der ganzen Landschaft sehr zu empfehlen.

********** de car. Visites en accéléré ne permettant pas d’apprécier les sites, notamment le coliseum(30 min), le site star wars (15 min) ou encore la mosquée. Des visites avec explications minimales. Des hôtels qualifiés 5 étoiles qui ne les valent pas. Certaines visites n’ont pas d’intérêt: lac salé qui est vide. Le tout correspond à un circuit de tour opérateur où les cars de touristes s’enchaînent. Les points positifs sont: balade en chameau, circuit en 4x4, le Colisée.

Everything we saw and did was amazing. The TUI staff was amazing and cannot be more thankful to Salah and Mohammad for explaining everything & take care of us. The only think I didn't enjoy was the drinks were not included in all the free meals as doesn't make sense even if we had 3 free drinks I belive TUI should have included this. On the experience you have to improve the communication as what is the journey time what time we are going to visit each think and what people are expected to bring

The whole experience was fantastic and surpassed my expectations in every way. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and I learned so much about Tunisia's rich history as well as its present day aspirations and difficulties. I particularly appreciated his candid advice when it came to dealing with street traders. The driver also worked incredibly hard to make sure we got to each stop safely and in good time. If you don't do this excursion you haven't seen Tunisia.

This trip is 100% worth the money, you do so much. The only downside is the amount of time spent on the coach. Our tour guide was excellent and the hotel we stayed it was clean. The food was nice, all in all it was great! Definitely recommend :)

Insgesamt eine tolle Tour die ich wieder buchen würde. Man sieht viel vom Hinterland und die Stops auf dem Weg zur Wüste (Amphitheater, Star Wars Kulisse, Berberhaus) sind gut gewählt. Das zubuchbare Kamelreiten ist zu empfehlen. Die Wüstentour mit Jeeps und der zweiten Star Wars Kulisse war ein echtes Highlight. Minuspunkt: Wir hatten nur einen kleinen Bus für die Tour, der zwar klimatisiert aber gerade für große Personen sehr unbequem war. Hier hätte ich einen echten Reisebus erwartet.

Der Ausflug war sehr informativ und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Empfehlenswert ist auf jeden Fall Trinken auf die Busfahrt mitzunehmen und auch Dinar, für Snacks zwischendurch und den Dromedarritt. Für Essen ist gesorgt und die Übernachtung in dem Hotel ab der Sahara ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Essen war sehr gut.

Our visit to Kairouan was short and we expected to have some free time to explore more of the town. The carpet sho was something we did not expect to experience and did not want. The mosque was disappointing as we would have liked the opportunity to explore it's surroundings.

Die 2-Tages-Tour war ein ganz besonders tolles Erlebnis. Früh gestartet ging es im Reisebus der Küste entlang und danach in die Wüste. Die gut platzierten Sightseeing-Zwischenstopps machten die insgesamt fast 1200km lange Fahrt zu einem kurzweiligen Erlebnis. Besonders toll für mich als Fan waren die beiden Star Wars Drehorte, das Kamelreiten und die Jeep-Safari. Solch eine Tour steht und fällt natürlich mit dem Guide - und in dieser Hinsicht hatten wir mit Ilyes Ziadi die absolute Top-Besetzung

Man sieht viel vom Land. Trotz der großen Distanzen war die Busfahrt kurzweilig mit ausreichenden Pausen. Die Fahrt mit dem Jeep noch Mos Espa und die Filmkulissen anzusehen waren das Highlight, auch für die Kids (10J und 16J). Das Kamelreiten von ca. 50 min. hat uns auch gefallen. Am zweiten Tag sind wir um 4h aufgebrochen, um den Sonnenaufgang über dem Atlasgebirge und dem Salzsee zu sehen, atemberaubend. Negativ: alle Getränke nicht inkludiert und überraschender Teppichverkauf in Kairouan.

We have loved every bit of that trip!!! The tour guide Mohamed Ferjani was the amazing he took care of us like we were his own family, and he was great with everyone else especially a disabled kid that was one of other companions?? we have seen all the good and the bad and this was the most important thing to discover real Tunisia! Mohamed had amazing knowledge that and great advice always?? wouldn’t change a thing it was great value for money??

100% value for money!!!! Guide was so informative and the amount you got was incredible, however I did find the first day was jam packed and the second day felt like a lot more driving with less stops but understand this may be due to route, Only main downsides was the overnight hotel wasn’t good, forced into leaving a tip, have to pay on top for drinks, food not great and cockroaches in room! luckily not there for long. Lunches given on trip were nice but no other option if your fussy!

It's alot of distance to cover but we stopped off a few times either way to experience other things. This experience is well worth the money. The only small issue I had was that there wasn't any child friendly lunch option, my daughter is 8 and both days she didn't really eat much lunch. However there was a buffet option on the evening where there was plain rice and chips.

The Guide Mohamed was brilliant, very knowledgeable about Tunisia and all the sites. Really enjoyed it. Overnight hotel was clean, food was nice, although we had to pay for drinks throughout including 2 other lunches provided, which was disappointing. The bus journeys were very uncomfortable, but regular stops helped a little to stretch feet etc. overall a long and tiring but fun trip.

Toll war das Nutzen der Zeit, frühe Abfahrt und keine Zeit verloren. Sicherer Busfahrer und freundliche Crew. Kamelreiten kostete extra, Jeep war inklusive. Reibungsloser Ablauf und leckere Mahlzeiten an ausgewählten Orten. Wlan im Bus wäre noch toll gewesen. Wir waren pünktlich zurück und haben all die Aussicht beim Fahren genossen. Ich durfte vorne sitzen, da ich als erster abgeholt wurde und als letzter weggebracht. Am 2. Tag pünktlich zwischen 17 und 18 Uhr zurück. Sicher und gut. Informativ

It's a nicely put together tour for a 48hr adventure, I think an overnight stay in the Sahara would have been a better touch and possibly extending the trip over 2nights as it's a very action packed rushed tour but definatley worth it. good value and insightful experience

Meine Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. 3 Wüsten in 2 Tagen, wo gibt's denn so was zu diesem Preis. Unser Guide Mohamed ein begnadeter, witziger Erzähler. Alles im guten Timing arrangiert. In Douz perfekt untergebracht. Die Jeep-Safari durch die Salzwüste, der reinste Hammer! Alles in allem: so was hatte ich noch nicht erlebt (und ich bin schon viel gereist)! Liebe TUI, ich danke! Vielleicht noch ein Hinweis: Man ist da in 2 Tagen 1200 km unterwegs und muss 2 x morgens früh raus!

If something is advertised as 'optional', and does not have a separate price attached to it, then it is reasonable to think it is included in the original price. The camel or cart ride were optional, however their cost was not expresssed in your advert. Please, show all costs upfront. A few of us felt hostage on the bus as we had no choice to pay as we were already there; this leaves an upset feeling. Also, it was a 36hr round-trip; the coach needs comfy reclining seats to rest from 4am starts.

Insgesamt eine schöne und interessante Tour. Aufgrund der langen Strecke (1.150 Km) böte sich eine Verlängerung auf drei Tage an. Der Stopp in Kairouan fällt mit nur 25 Minuten sehr kurz aus. Das Abendessen im Hotel in Douz war eine Katastrophe. Zugegeben, wir waren am 24.12.2022 dort, aber der Lärmpegel sowie die Ausstattung des Speisesaals waren unerträglich. Auch das Essen war nicht gut. Auch das Mittagessen an Tag 2 im Hotel Jugurtha Palace in Gafsa ließ zu wünschen übrig.

I really enjoyed the camel ride, 4x4 trip to see the Star Wars set and visiting the salt lakes. I also enjoyed seeing the mosque on the way back. I hated the hotel - there was a black beetle in my bed! Thankfully, I check hotel rooms before setting down and upon pulling cover back it ran out over the mattress. The hotel gave me another room but I was paranoid the entire stay and didn’t sleep well at all! Informed tour guide who let manager know. Also hotel costs 25TD plus 3TD tax for 1 night.

The 4x4 and the camel ride were excellent, the guide was OK but not as knowledgable as I had hoped. The grand mosque wasn’t as grand as I had hoped and was shut by the time we got there. The trip is 1200 km in 2 days but you definitely see Tunisia. It was well organised and plenty of breaks along the way

A faire absolument lors d une visite en Tunisie. Beaucoup de kilomètres en bus depuis Hammamet mais il s agit certainement des plus jolies choses qui peuvent être visibles dans ce pays. Le reste n est hélas que saleté.

From the pick up to the drop off the whole experience is incredible. Apart from the experiences themselves which are fantastic, learning about the Tunisian culture and seeing the real Tunisia is priceless. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Muhammad and Omar. Muhammad wants you to have the best experience and he achieves that. The camel rides, the sunsets, sunrises in the desert and the jeep safari are not to be missed. A fantastic experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Unser Tourguide Mohammed war super. Die Tour war informativ und spannend gestaltet. Nur das Hotel in Douz ist aus europäischer Sicht gewöhnungsbedürftig. Hier wäre es zumindest wünschenswert, wenn es die Möglichkeit gäbe, gegen einen Aufpreis ein besseres Hotel zu wählen.

Die Tour fanden wir großartig. In der Sahara hat man die Wahl zwischen Kamelreiten oder Quadfahren. Wer beides nicht wollte, hatte die Möglichkeit zu Fuß durch die Sanddünen zu laufen. Wir haben uns für die Kamele entschieden und sind in den Sonnenuntergang geritten. Magisch! Das Hotel in Douz ist sauber, aber keine 4*! Ein Durchgangshotel eben. Die Jeep-Safari war ein Highlight. Stops für Toilettengänge und Getränkekauf waren reichlich. Man sitzt viel im Bus, sieht aber sehr viel vom Land.

Two very long days (13 hours on day one and 14 hours on day two), traveling over 1200 kilometres. The sights and experience however made it all worth while. Would not recommend for young families (we had one family on our tour, and bless them they did really well).

Als je wat meer van het land wil zien dan de zee, het zwembad en Engels fastfood dan is dit echt een aanrader. Een minpunt is dat je veel in de bus moet zitten. Het hotel is gedateerd, maar prima voor 1 nacht. Vergeet je zwemspullen niet! Onderweg zie je prachtige landschappen, maar ook barre armoede. De tocht op de dromedarissen is leuk maar erg toeristisch en massaal. De rest proeft meer cultuur. Wij hadden Mo als reisleider. Een hele lieve rustige man. Je gaat hem gewoon missen na 2 dagen.

Veel gezien en geleerd over het land, onze gids Mo was enthousiast en wist tijdens het reizen in de bus van de 1 naar de andere plek ook nog veel te vertellen. Je krijgt op deze manier dan ook een andere kant van Tunesië te zien dan alleen op een resort. Zeer zeker aan te bevelen is de optionele kamelenrit, DOEN! El Djem was ook prachtig. Eten en hotel onderweg was prima, vergeet niet je zwemkleding want een duik in het zwembad bij het hotel in Douz is heerlijk na zo'n lange dag.

Enjoy: Camel trek at sunset. Sunrise. El Djem. 4x4 trip Not like as much. Arabs trying to sell things in the desert. Very long days with a lot of driving. Bezienswaardigheden en busreis (chauffeur en reisgids) waren top. Hotel in Douz (Medina) was niet best, 3 sterren, maar maak er maar gerust 2 van. Geen koud water en douche was heel matig. Tevens allemaal ongedierte op kamer.

The land cruiser trip across the desert was absolutely fab & the highlight of the trip. The sunrise over the desert was worth getting up for. We didn't have long enough at El Jem - only 30mins when we were originally told 1 hour. Be prepared for a very long journey. The 'vendors' were persistent to the point of annoyance.

If you go to Tunisia you should absolutely do this tour! They don’t give you much of a kit list or anything much information wise but you definitely need a change of clothes, snacks, spare sunglasses as you will absolutely need them and a swim suit for the hotel. It is the best was to see what Tunisia has to offer but be prepared for no Aircon in the room and a lot of time on the coach (take a neck cushion) and take more change than you think you need for tips!

What a fantastic way to see some amazing destinations across the Soutgetn part of Tunisia! Be prepared for a lot of travelling but trust me - it's worth it! Both the driver and guide (thank you Ilyas!) were professional and keen to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. The highlight had to be watching the sunrise across the Salt lakes in the middle of the Sahara followed by a bone rattling saharan jeep ride to the original Star Wars film set on Day 2! Loved everything ??

Veel gezien op deze tour waaronder verschillende woestijnlandschappen en monumenten uit de oudheid. Goed hotel en lekker eten waaronder een buffetmaaltijd in de avond. Ophaaltijd was wel vroeg, eerste dag 6 uur en de tweede dag 4 uur voor de zonsopgang. Je zit wel vrij lang in de bus met iedere 90 minuten een stop. Je ziet veel van het land. Jeep tour was inbegrepen en vrij ruig. Kamelenrit moest apart betaald voor worden, goed vasthouden.

Es ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis die Natur so zu sehen. Unbedingt machen! Das Hotel in Douz war nicht so toll. Es hatte vier Sterne die bei weitem nicht erfüllt waren. Aber für nur eine Nacht kann man darüber hinwegsehen. Dass es in dieser Gegend des Landes nicht möglich ist einen solchen Standard zu erfüllen, sieht man an den Bedingungen. Von uns ist keiner krank geworden, obwohl die Teller nicht sauber waren. Aber die Menschen sind sehr nett auch unser Reiseleiter war super. Großes Lob!!

Amazing experience.... long days but worth it. Hotel in the Sahara really is awful, and even hassle within the hotel from the stall holders. Plus it was filthy and food really bad.

Really enjoyed the camel and 4x4 rides. Guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. The bus could have done with an onboard toilet.

Saw so much of Tunisia in such a short time, amazing value. Usually about 90mins between stops so not too bad. Long tiring days, but so so worth it!

This tour is excellent value for money. Not only do you enjoy the experiences described, but on the journey, there are short stop offs that reach you more about Tunisia and it's culture, along with the chance to see stunning views and try local food. The hotel in Douz is excellent, with delicious food and friendly staff. The highlight, though, is the guide: knowledgeable, helpful (he ensured we stopped off at an ATM) and respectful to women. The only thing I would have preferred is a slightly later wake up on the second day.
