Ooit was Carthago de hoofdstad van de grootste vijand van het oude Rome. Hier vonden veel legendarische veldslagen plaats en aan de ruïne is te zien dat de Romeinen uiteindelijk wonnen. Wir haben diese Tour explizit gebucht, weil eine deutschsprachige Führung garantiert wurde. Dies wurde leider nicht eingehalten. Die Tour wurde zu geschätzten 80 % auf Französisch und Englisch durchgeführt. Auf uns drei deutschsprachige Teilnehmer wurde kaum eingegangen, wir wurden den gesamten Tag über stark vernachlässigt. It was a great trip. There is a lot to fit into a day and so time was very limited at some of the stops and I would have loved to have seen a bit more of Carthage and spent a little more time in the museum but recognise that it would make it a very long day. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting and gave us information about Tunisian life which was great. It was very hectic in Sidi Bou Said so we wouldn't have wanted more time there on that occasion as it was so busy! Thank you

Carthage was very good, but I felt we didn't get long there and there are some sites very near by that would have been good to visit like the ruins of an amphitheatre. Sido boe Said was nice but it felt like you were just there to spend money. The museum containing the worlds largest collection of mosaic was very good, and the guide was well informed. However, there is no water provided at any time on this trip, free of charge. Not even with lunch! This I found unacceptable. It's dangerous.

gut: - Der Ausflug und die besuchten Objekte waren sehr schön - Für uns war auch der zeitliche Rahmen ok. nicht so gut: - gemessen am Angebot anderer Anbieter und ähnlicher Leistung war der Preis etwas hoch bemessen - leider gibt es im Bus keine Möglichkeit Getränke zu erhalten. Bei dem Ausflugspreis wäre ein Wasser ok. Wenn nicht anders möglich auch käuflich zu erwerben. - beim sind Mittagessen leider keine Getränke inkludiert. Auch kein Wasser, das überall für ein paar Cent zu haben ist.

The content of this excursion was poorly advertised and had I known there would be a visit to the museum I likely would not have gone. There was no where near enough time to explore Sidi Blu Said - the time at the last museum should have been at Sidi instead. The lunch was absolutely awful - nobody on my table ate. And drinks were not provided! Not even water. Had to pay for drinks. Not very happy. Pickup was also late - wish we were informed of this.

Very much enjoyed Carthage, would have liked longer there. Sidi Bousaid was disappointing, much too busy & felt chaotic at pick up & drop off. Also, trip was long without adequate drinks, nowhere to buy drinks on such a hot day.

Mam wielkie zastrzeżenia do przewodnika, a dokładnie do jego wymowy w języku polskim. Przewodnik beznadziejnie mówi po polsku. W połączeniu ze słabym nagłośnieniem w autobusie to wszystko było nie do zrozumienia!!! Przewodnik jako człowiek to super koleś, ale jego wymowa beznadziejna. Uwielbiamy słuchać w autobusie opowiesci przewodników, tutaj nic nie szło zrozumieć. Więcej dowidziałem się od naszej przemiłej i bardzo otwartej rezydentki Pani Agnieszki na spotkaniu 45 minutowy niż od niego.

Dali,Our tour guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and very supportive. I would prefer spending more time in SIDI BOUSAID and not visiting the mosaics museum, was not worth the time spending in there. Overall I would say that the trip is very expensive and I would not recommend going. Is better pay a taxi and go to explore SIDI BOUSAID alone! CARTHAGE Also didn’t impress me much!

Wir haben extra einen Ausflug ohne Kinder, 12 Jahre + gebucht, weil wir keine ********** auf schreiende und weinende Kinder haben. Genau damit macht TUI auch Werbung und so wird der Ausflug auch verkauft, 12 Jahre +. Bei unserem Ausflug waren mehrere kleine Kinder dabei, die natürlich sehr viel geschrieen und geweint haben (es sind nunmal kleine Kinder, die können nichts dafür). Es ist eine Unverschämtheit von TUI, die Tour als kinderfrei zu vermarkten und dann Kinder zuzulassen

den Tourguide konnte man kaum verstehen und es war schwer raus zu bekommen ob es Deutsch oder Französisch gesprochen wurde. Vorab wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass es nicht ein kleines Getränk geben wird. Wir kennen es nur so, dass man mit Getränke versorgt wird (nicht die erste Tour).

El tour me pareció poco interesante a excepción del Museo Bardo, el cual contiene arte diferente al de otros museos del mundo. Quedaron de pasarme a buscar al Hotel a las 7:45 hrs , no llegaron , tuve que reclamar y me mandaron en un taxi a otro hotel a tomar el bus . Una falta de respeto hacia el cliente .

I was very impressed with the knowledge of the tour guide, he was very friendly and enthusiastic with his information. The only one point I was not impressed with was the waste of time as the road where shut because of a local football match. This obviously was not an impromptu game so planning ahead should have been sorted. The poor bus driver was put under pressure to get us to our first destination on time.

Szczególne podziękowania dla Pani Iwonki. Pani ma ogromną wiedzę i chętnie udzielała odpowiedzi na każde pytanie. Jeśli chodzi o lunch to brakowało nam tam jakiegoś elementu lokalnej kuchni przykładowo zjedzenie lokalnego tunezyjskiego brika byłoby wisienką na torcie tej wycieczki. :)

We had an amzing guide, Mondhr, who was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful. Sidi Bou Said was a bit of a nightmare, but purely down to the local traders hassling everyone to go into their shops, which is no reflection on the tour operator.

Carthage the highlight for ancient culture fiends. Sidi Bou Said OK but only if you like shopping bearing in mind all the traders in Tunisia sell virtually the same thing - nothing else involved really. I wouldn’t go to Sidi Bou Said again.

Les visites étaient minutées, le guide parlait et marchait vite, pas le temps flâner un peu. Ses explications étaient intéressantes. Le repas n'était pas très bon, 3 demi-fraises comme dessert et un morceau de poulet en plat ce n'est représentatif du pays. Dans un restaurant en bord de mer (cachée par des cars) rien de typique. Pour le retour , on nous avait dit qu'on serait déposés les premiers , sans prévenir changement d'itinéraire au lieu de rentrer à 17h30 on est rentré à 19h30

To start off with Hamid and the driver Faizal aka brother was absolutely amazing! Great linguistically and perfect English. They were both very easy to understand. Was very attentive, jokes were flying in the air and they even deserved the round of applause at the end! Definitely in the top 3 of reps we have come across. Siti bou sade was amazing, seeing the mosaic museum and carthege was beautiful. There was enough time to see everything and explore. 100% would recommend this excursion

Excellent guide gave loads of information, clear on itinerary and timings, sense of humour, good English. Sites were really interesting and good balance guided vs free time. Lunch was a new restaurant, served far too much food and no choice - much better to offer buffet for better value and less waste. We had really early start and were the first of 9 pickups and the last drop off. It added over 2 hours to a long day and was a big negative. Separate North vs South Hammamet pickups.

Die Blaue Stadt war zu überlaufen , machte keinen Spass und wir haben uns nach kurzer Zeit mit anderen Mitreisenden ins Cafe gesetzt . Das Mittagessen war unter aller Würde , wir waren die letzten Gäste und dadurch waren nur Reste noch da , die Abfertigung war auch unter aller Würde , wir sind Menschen und keine Schweine . Das wir zum beim Essen unsere Getränke auch noch selber kaufen mussten , fanden wir Unterirdisch bei dem Preis für die Tour.

I would have liked to have felt relaxed enough to buy some small souvenirs. It's such a shame that the culture around persuading customers to enter shops and "badgering" them has a counter-productive effect on people like myself. Perhaps if we could have had some cafes/shops recommended? I thought the tour guide, Mondher, was very knowledgeable and his level of English was wonderful. He had a lovely manner and I thought it was really interesting to hear about the history of Tunisia.

Too much time spent at bardo museum 1hr 45. Only 45mins max at carthage. Lunch poor quality and disgusting facilities. Guide then took us on detour to perfume/scent factory for over 40 mins. Which we would had liked to spend at carthage. Then 1hr at sidi bou said, which was about right amount of time. When we got back to hotel ,looked at online pics adverting your trip and realised we missed so much due to lack of time. Very disappointed

The guide was very monotonic. Repeated his sentences. Switches from English to French and back without completing sentences which made it really confusing. Gave history lessons which towards the end got really boring. Sidi Bou was sold to us as santorini and it was really a place with blue paints , broken cars and dirty Water wasn't provided which is a necessity rather than luxury especially on a 12 hours tour..Taken to a perfume manufacturing which was not part of the tour wasting time.

Schöne Tour und super Guide. Man sitzt natürlich viel im Bus, der Guide hat währenddessen aber viele Infos über das Land erzählt. Das war super. Die zeitliche Aufteilung an den drei Stationen war ebenfalls passend. Daher aufjedenfall zu empfehlen. Allerdings eher weniger für Kinder.

Our pick up was on time but due to confusion on other pickups we had a late start which meant that the trip was always playing catch-up. The highlight for me was the museum and more time could have been spent there. We only had just over an hour. Overall it was a good trip with plenty of content and a good guide who took every opportunity to give background info about the country.

Our guide was good. Not enough time spent in Carthage ruins - shortest stop on the trip even though it's in the name. Sidi Bou Said stop was too long - not a serene seaside town as advertised, but dropped off in the middle of a marketplace of aggressive merchants selling cheap souvenirs. Bardo Museum was interesting, but felt we could have spent less time there. Unadvertised stop at an essential oils shop felt odd and out of place on the tour.

Totally UNDERWHELMING. The description prior to the (lack of) experi3nce suggested a fantastic experience of exploring ancient monuments. Reality was the first visit to Carthage was to a poorly maintained site that was difficult to explore with safety in mind. Loads of uneven ground an d trip hazards. Following this was the visit to the village which again proved difficult for many on the tour due to the terrain and steepness.. lunch was a write off of cold/ lukewarm meat and tasteless others

Bardo museum excellent but every explanation being done in two languages meant it took too long and became boring. Not enough time at Carthage and only saw the baths, not amphitheatre. Sidi Bou Said way too commercial, just sellers of the same things. Enjoyed but could have been better. So many hotels to drop people off at meant getting home took a very long time.

I wanted to visit Carthage. Most of the ruins were roped off. No informative texts as we walked around. We were there for about 40 min. We spent longer at the museum and Sidi bonsai. Sidi bousaid. The latter was for ?? which didn't interest me at all. The timings should be clear, I could have gone to Carthage in a taxi. I have food allergies and was please that I had the foresight to take my own lunch.

Die Führungen im Museum und in Carthago waren sehr gut! In Bousaid gehen Sie nicht in das Lokal, dass Ihr Guide vorschlägt! Blueblue hat es geheißen. Da kostet der Kaffee 8 DT in den anderen Lokalen 4 DT! Der Guide gibt auch Empfehlung für ein bestimmtes Geschäft, das bessere Qualität hat andere, aber das stimmt nicht. Der Guide sitzt vor der Tür der beiden Geschäfte, protokolliert wer reingeht und holt sich dann die Provision

We were left behind for the White and Blue town and missed this part of the tour. We were last off the bus and then had to wait for traffic. By the time we had got around the corner the group had gone and we were not sure which road to take. Secondly although there is a lift in the musume (we found out later) this wasn't offered to older travelers which meant my wife had to struggle up and down a long set of starirs. On the positive the guides English was very good and he was very knowledgeable

The tour was interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable, approachable and informative. He took time to explain things and was happy taking questions. However the lunch was not acceptable as there was no option for vegetarian other than the side salad available. Despite informing the TUI rep -who said we didn't need to let him know as it would be ok- and messaging to inform it was disappointing to get to the restaurant and have no main meals option. Also the need to buy drinks info.

Well organised tour with a good mix of guided explanations and free time to explore a bit more. Lots of explanations from our guide during the bus trip and the different visits. Museum and Carthage are the highlight of the tour. Sidi Bousaid was nice for a quick walk but it was quite crowded. Found it a bit overrated. Very good buffet lunch ! Overall a very nice day.

Leider wurden wir durch sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten gehetzt. Der Guide stand bereit und scheuchte uns bei jedem Stop schnell in den Bus. Es war sehr hektisch. Keine Zeit länger irgendwo zu bleiben. Wir waren dann auch 90 Minuten früher als angekündigt im Hotel. Außerdem forderte er in einer Durchsage im Bus Trinkgeld.

The trip was really well organised. We drove through the outskirts of Tunis to Carthage, and visited the remains of the amphitheatre and buildings. The museum was closed for renovation, but it was still interesting to visit the site. Sidi Bou Said which was a beautiful old village, full of white and blue buildings. The lunch that was included was at a nearby hotel and was really good. The National Museum of Bardo had some fantastic Roman mosaics. Overall, good value for money and recommended!

Die Tour dauerte 11 Stunden, weil sie 2 sprachig war. Der Guide war sehr gut, aber weil er alles 2 mal erzählen mußte (deutsch u. französisch), hatte es sich hingezogen. So blieb auch für Sidi bou said zu wenig Zeit, schade!!!

Pünktliche Abfahrt und Ankunft. Sicherer Fahrer auch in unübersichtlichen Situationen. Sehr informierter Reiseleiter. Sehr schönes Museum von Bardo mit seiner Mischung aus Römischen Mosaiken und der Umgebung des alten Palastharems mit seinen tollen Decken und Wandfliesen. Guten Übersicht über die wenigen Relikte aus panische Zeit und der späteren römischen Überbau gibt. Etwas chaotische Abfahrt von der letzten Station wegen der vielen dort abfahrenden Busse. Toller Ausflug.

Our trip started with our bus driver reserving into a car! The trip was good but felt rushed. Lunch was chaotic but nice. There were some impressive mosaics at the Bardo Museum and the ceilings inside the building were beautiful. We needed more time to explore Carthage, it was a beautiful day and we loved looking at the Ruins. We could have had less time in Sidi Bou Said as we had no interest in the shopping and it was busy but we liked the quaint streets and panormaic views.

10h d'activités ! Génial, sauf que 6h30 ou7h de bus Arène, zéro d'explication quant aux vestiges restant Le repas. Le couscous était bon mais froid. Et que 20 min pour manger. Le musée.Une fois les quelques explications de notre accompagnateur finies, quartier libre. Euh pour 30 min par contre. Le musée est grand, ça mérite plus de temps pour visiter. Quand nous faisons la remarque a l'accompagnateur, il nous rigole au nez. Une chose importe, l'argent que nous leur donnons, c'est tout

Faire plus de 4h30de route allez retour sur une sortie d’une journée c’est énorme! Alors soit vous êtes honnête et vous informez les gens qu’ils doivent passer dans chaque hôtel avant de prendre enfin la route pour la visite soit vous modifiez celle-ci car une moyenne de 30 minute par site c’est trop cher payer pour cette visite et 20 minutes pour avaler un repas de surcroît froid c’est très court ! En bref, il vous faut changer cette excursion afin de pouvoir profiter d’un Bardo au maximum!

Der Trip war schön. Der Reiseführer sehr kompetent. Hier möchte ich auch ein ganz besonderes Lob aussprechen. Ich hätte mir einen längeren Aufenthalt in Sidi Bousaid gewünscht. Das Mittagessen war eher nicht so toll. Kleine Auswahl, zerkochte Nudeln. Die warmen Speisen wurden sehr früh abgeräumt. Nach einer Vorspeise mit Salat und Brot, wurden mir erst auf Nachfrage Teile des warmen Buffets aus der Küche geholt. MfG Stefan Gurgel

- mittelmäßiges Mittagessen. Nach einer Runde Buffet wurde das warme Essen bereits abgeräumt. Das wurde vorher leider nicht gesagt. - Ich hätte lieber auf Sidi Bou Said verzichtet und dafür die Antonius Thermen gesehen. Sidi Bou Said ist ganz nett, aber viel Nepp. + sehr guter Führer und sehr guter Busfahrer

Leider war die Führung zuerst auf französisch und danach wurde alles auf deutsch erläutert
Das ist im Grunde auch nicht das Problem, jedoch wurde im Bus gefühlt bei der Deutschen Erklärung vom Busfahrer aufs Gas gedrückt. Der Bus heulte laut auf und man verstand nichts mehr von der Erläuterung. :(

L’excursion devait être en français. Finalement, des allemands et des anglais étaient également de la partie pour former un groupe d’une cinquantaine de personnes. Le car était rempli. Il y a eu vraiment beaucoup trop de temps dans le bus, car nous avons dû passer récupérer des gens dans d'autres hôtels. La partie musée de l'après-midi peut être un peu trop longue, prévenez les gens avant l'excursion pour qu'ils s'y préparent. Le point vraiment extrêmement négatif fut le restaurant, qui fut expéditif. Les gens étaient beaucoup trop stressés et le repas très médiocre.

Notre Guide (Dali, Mohamed Ali) était excellent. Parlant couramment français, anglais et allemand. Très à l’écoute. N’hésite pas à répondre aux questions. Très bon chauffeur. Nous sommes partis à 7h35 du matin. Nous avons perdu 1h30 pour prendre les autres touristes dans leur hôtel et sommes seulement arrivés au Musée Bardo à 10h05. Il était convenu 1h00 de trajet avec guide francophone et plus de 2h30. Le guide expliquait également en Allemand et français. Nous avons perdu un temps énorme et n'avons pas pu voir l'entièreté du Musée même si le guide était motivé, il y a un très gros problème d organisation. Non respect horaires.Plus jamais avec tui, arnaque.

Insgesamt interessante Reise. Guide hätte gerne etwas leidenschaftlicher erzählen können. Die Aufenthaltsdauern waren einigermaßen okay. Insbesondere in Karthago hätte man sich zu den Fakten auch vieeel mehr Geschichten gewünscht, die es darüber zu erzählen gibt. Vor vielen Jahren hatte ich eine ähnliche Führung in Karthago (damals näher am Meer) mit einem Giude, der brannte, die Geschichten um die Karthager zu erzählen...hier leider eher langweilig. Auch Sidi hätte länger sein können.

Service: Omnibusfahrer und Reiseleiter - sehr gut. Viel Wissenswertes und Interessantes über Historie, Land und Leute erfahren. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein, wenn man in den Thermen von Karthago und dem weiß-blauen Dorf Sidi Bou Said- viel anschauen möchte. Ansonsten kann man auch weniger laufen und anschauen und dafür die tolle Aussicht aufs Meer oder Land und einen Kaffee genießen. Mittagessen in einem Restaurant an der Küste war auch gut. Insgesamt hat sich der Ausflug sehr gelohnt .

Daali the tour guide told us the wrong time to meet up so we missed part of the tour. By the time we got back everyone was back on the coach. Several times i saw him glare because people werent walking up to him fast enought. Other times he was nice. The tour itself was underwhelming after being places like el gem. Sidi bou said was just a huge street market. Could not enjoy the place at all due to stalls everywhere

Loved all of the trip but SIDI BOUSAID is with hills and could cause some that could walk up them. The meal and restaurant was really bad and we got picked up 1st and was on the coach 1hr 30 mins due to pick ups and when we cam back we weren't the 1st drop off and had to endure another 1 hr. of drop offs!!!!!

The tour well prepared, tour guide excellent and profound info to Punic, Roman and Tunisia history. Carthago ruins, baths of Antonioni’s, St. Luis Cathedral all impressive. Sidi Bou Said beautiful, all merchants aggressive. We got jewelry and dress, price down from €80 and 65 to €20 and 10 respectively. The weak point for us was the lunch, average. After that, Bardo museum mosaics beautiful but we were with low energy. Overall, Recommend.

Der Reiseführer war sehr gut, hatte immer eine Antwort auf Fragen.Auf Mängel der Organisation hatte er keinen Einfluss. Zum Mittagessen gehört ein Wasser und genügend Zeit. Es kann nicht sein, daß schon die nächste Gruppe schon neben den Tisch steht.Dieses Problem gibt es wohl schon länger und würde nicht gelöst. Alles Anderes war gut und sehr informativ.

The holiday itself was very nice. We really had great timeBut the problem that we had was the flight was delayed and we dint get any vouchers or food. We reach at our Hotel very late passed midnight. Unser Guide hat ein schlechtes Deutsch gesprochen, sodass man ihn stets nicht verstehen konnte. Außerdem waren die Führungen durch das Bardo-Museum und den antiken Stätten eine Katastrophe, weil es eine einzige Hetzjagd war. Wir hätten uns eine bessere Führung durch den Guide gewünscht. Das Mittagessen haben wir in einem separaten Raum eines Restaurants eingenommen, der völlig überfüllt und sehr laut war mit ca. 100 Personen. Wir waren alles in allem sehr enttäuscht vom Angebot"Tui Touristik".

Der reiseleiter hat leider sehr undeutlich gesprochen und mit starkem französischem akzent. man konnte nicht immer alles verstehen. Ich würde mir wasser im Bus wünschen. Der fahrer ist gut gefahren. Leider konnten nicht alle immer alles mitmachen, weil das keine tour ist für personen mit eingeschränkter mobilität. Das stand nicht offensichtlich in der Beschreibung.

Der Ausflug hat uns insgesamt gut gefallen, besonders weil das Programm gut organisiert war und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten beinhaltete. Das inkludierte Mittagessen war jedoch etwas enttäuschend – es fand recht spät statt, lag eigentlich außerhalb unserer Route und die Qualität war nicht besonders überzeugend. Sidi Bousaid viel zuviele Menschen. Nur ein Geschiebe durch die Gassen und die Hândler sehr nervig. Laut Plan 8 Stunden Tour und nach 10,5 Stunden waren wir endlich wieder im Hotel. Der Guide war sehr gut aber die Tour selber war nicht schön und zu lange.

Guide excellent. Bus and driver excellent. Timekeeping v good, perfect at different venues. Lunch could be improved. Food quality v good but v shocked no drinks were included. Need to reinforce this or at add a little extra to include. Went to purchase a drink to be told they only had local sprite and water left! Was given ice cream whilst eating, it was runny when given and complete liquid when ready to eat. Have it a miss as it looked terrible.

Long day. Says 4 to 8 hours. With our hotel pickup and drop off was 10 hours. Also the carthage element seemed very light. Only the Antonion baths when there appear to be more areas to visit. Sidi Bou Said is a lovely village but given over an hour of free time and it is mainly an Instagram phot spot and excuse to buy souvenirs it seemed too long and generally unnecessary. Guide was very knowledgeable and engaging giving plenty of updates on Tunisia as a whole as well as the tour.

I thought the guide was great and very knowledgeable especially in the museum when explaining the story behind the mosaics. Would have liked just a little bit longer time to spend to walk around the ruins of Carthage and the Roman Baths and maybe less time in Sidi Bou Said.

Unser Reiseleiter war qualitativ sehr gut, hat informativ alles erklärt, sein Deutsch war ok., leider hatte er auch französische Mitreisende. Er wechselte sehr oft die Sprache, was speziell im Bus übers Mikrophon und im Museum Bardo, wegen der Akustik in den hohen Räumen problematisch war. Dalí the tour guide was amazing - so knowledgeable, friendly and funny. I found the tour so interesting and learnt so much. However, I would’ve preferred more time in the Bardot museum and less in Sidi Bou Saïd. Although Sidi Bou Said was pretty, it was heaving with tourists and coaches and I personally was ready to leave after half an hour.

Toller Ausflug. Wir hätten gern etwas mehr Zeit in Sidi bou Said verbracht. Wir haben uns dad Museumshaus angeschaut und dann hatten wir nur noch 20 Minuten um wieder am Bus zu sein. Das war mir etwas zu knapp. Ich wäre gerne noch etwas durch die verwinkelten Gassen geschlendert. Das fand ich sehr sehr schade. Ansonsten war die Tour toll. Vom Reiseführer gab es viele Informationen zu Land und Leute. Wir konnten jederzeit alle Fragen stellen. Schöner Tagestripp.

La visite ne correspondait qu’en surface à ce qui avait été annoncé. Les étapes étaient très courtes et les "temps libres" nous permettaient tout juste d’aller au toilettes et de retourner au bus. Le guide s’y connaissait très bien sur les lieux et la Tunisie mais effleurait seulement les sujets car les visites étaient trop courtes. Le fait qu’il du tout expliquer à deux reprises, en allemand et français faisaient perdre énormément de temps.

Der Ausflug war ganz nett. Viele interessante Infos vom Reiseführer, der sehr gut deutsch sprach und sehr freundlich war. Leider war die Zeit in Sidi Bou Said zu kurz. Man hatte keine Zeit zum Shoppen oder sich in Ruhe umzuschauen. Wir wussten bei der Buchung nicht, dass wir noch zum Mosaikmuseum fahren. Diese Zeit hätten wir lieber in Sidi Bou Said verbracht.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot, but more time could have been given to allow us to explore the sites for ourselves, especially the museum. We had the tour guide talking for so long we ended up with only 10 minutes to freely explore each site. Lunch was very poor too, and the additional cost for drinks is unacceptable

The tour itself was excellent and our guide, Anas, was superb - very knowledgeable and extremely personable, lifting the mood when we were tired and uncomfortable. He provided interesting context on recent Tunisia politics and events, as well as fantastic knowledge about Ancient Carthage civilisation. However, tour is advertised as 4 to 8 hours and we were out for over 12.5 hours. It was a very uncomfortable day with a lot of time on the coach. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with back issues

Der Tourguide hat sehr interessante Fakten / Informationen über das Land erzählt, was wir vorher noch nicht wussten. Wir könnten dadurch viel über die Geschichte sowie aktuelle Entwicklungen Tunesiens lernen. Das Abholen hat gut geklappt. Der Ausflug ist zeitlich sehr strukturiert mit ungefähr 30-60 Minuten je Sehenswürdigkeit, was bis auf die Stadt, ausreichend Zeit ist. In der Stadt hätten wir uns eine halbe Stunde mehr Zeit gewünscht. Es ist natürlich sehr touristisch.

Onwijs genoten van deze dag. 2 verschillende historische plekken in Tunesie bezocht. Daarna ga je naar sidi bou said. Het was prachtig. Je krijgt een stukje cultuur mee, verschillende dingen kun je kopen, zoals eten, kleren, souveniers etc. Daar kan je ook verschillende mooie uitzichten verwachten en mooie foto's maken. Wij gingen toen door naar lunch die inbegrepen was. En als laatst een bezoek aan het mozaiek museum. Erg leerzaam en waard voor je geld.

Karthago war schön. Aber sehr langes Einsammeln bzw. Wegbringen von Gästen in anderen Hotels (über 1,5 Stunden) bevorzugt die Fahrt überhaupt losging. Leider konnte der Reiseleiter nur schlecht Deutsch. Zuerst gab es sehr lange Erklärungen auf Französisch und dann einen Satz deutsch. Auch wichtige Infos wie Busnummer oder Abfahrtszeit gab es nur auf Nachfrage auf Deutsch. Nur 5 Minuten Freizeit in Museum. Mussten als Gruppe Durchlaufen und uns sehr Länge Vorträge auf Französisch anhören...

Insgesamt schöner Ausflug. Es wurde ein deutschsprachiger Ausflug im Internet angepriesen, bei der Tour wurde dann aber zusätzlich noch Französisch gesprochen- somit wurde alles in 2 Sprachen erklärt was mit der Zeit etwas mühsam war und die doppelte Zeit in Anspruch nahm. Miejsca piekne, ale niestety koszt wycieczki jest nieadektawnty do tego co zobaczylam. Autokar sie spóznil, Pani przewodni nie bylo w autokarze w jezyku Polskim tylko w drugim autokarze. Coach, driver & guide all very good Carthage ruins amazing but not enough time spent there. Village ok - house tour expensive and not really that interesting. The streets there were very crowded. Too much time there. Museum very interesting. Not enough free time. Shop ridiculously expensive. Lunch was horrendous - rude staff in restaurant. Had to ask 3 times for drinks and one waiter made rude gesture to us. Food cold and inedible - raw chicken, days old salad. No food given to our 2 year old!

Driver was very good. Guide has perfect English, which was a plus! Could have provided us with more knowledge of Tunisia. Restaurant was not that great, and they charge £2.50 for a can of coke! Extortionate considering the exchange rate.

Gids gaf ons veel te weinig tijd in Carthago. Speciaal naar Tunesië voor Carthago ben dan krijg je half uur vrij,daarvoor veel te lange uitleg en 15min geschuild voor hevige regen. In plaats van programma wat op te schuiven, moesten we maar snel alles gaan bekijken. Sidi dan weer iets te lang . En zeker mozaïeken museum, zo'n lange uitleg over alles , het publiek had hij al lang niet meer mee. Saai Ipv ons vrij te laten rondlopen, dan hadden we het volledig gezien en nu maar stukjes.

Interessant und informativ. Ein Highlight war zudem der Besuch des Nationalmuseums von Bardo. Weniger angenehm war allerdings das Abklappern aller Hotels. Sorry, aber zwei Stunden Rückfahrt sind eine Zumutung. Hier sollte man über eine Alternative nachdenken.

De activiteiten waren interessant en in een dag toch veel gezien! Het museum was ook interessant alleen was aan het einde van de dag (i.v.m. cruise schepen), hierdoor waren we allen wat meer vermoeid om goed op te letten. Een goede keuze om de drukte te vermijden dat wel! De lunch was niet naar wens. De schnitzel was half koud en bij iemand zat er een haar volledig in de pannering. Ik heb zelf ook last gehad van het eten, diarree en misselijk.

The places we visited were all good as were the tour guide and driver . The lunch was nothing special or traditionally Tunisian as described. Also the time and amount of hotel pick ups meant we spent ten hours in total on an experience meant to only be 6-8 hours .

Mehr Zeit in Karthago verbringen (z.B. Besichtigung der übrigen antiken Stätten wie dem Theater), dafür Sidi Bou Said weglassen. Der Ort ist schön, die vielen Touristen und Händler im Ort trüben das Erlebnis allerdings sehr. Auch die Zeit fürs Mittagessen (mit grossem Umweg) könnte verkürzt werden.

This is a great trip filled with lots of history. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The locations were quiet and amazing to visit. The restaurant for lunch, the staff actually went out their way to help me when I got injured, before arriving at the restaurant, and took me to the local pharmacy for medicine. Only issue i had was the driving, he was all over the road, actually driving in 2 lanes at one point. Other than that this was worth the experience.

The group were half English and half French so the guide repeated everything in two languages which meant twice as long at each point. He also spoke very quickly which meant he was not always easy to understand. It was a 10hour day. The lunch was plentiful but uninspiring with a charge for water!

The tour guide was great & kept us engaged and feeling safe. The bus driver was great. Carthage and Sidi Bou Said were amazing. Lunch was great. One major issue I have is that we were picked up at 7:20am and spent 2.5 hours getting there after picking up at other hotels in the opposite direction, then transferring to another bus. We left Carthage at 4pm and got back to our hotel after 6. We spent 5 hours on a bus and wouldn't go thru Tui again. Carthage is 1 hour away from our hotel

Im Bus waren leider ein paar Sitze Kaputt, das Mittagessen hat nicht geschmeckt und wir hatten sehr wenig Zeit an den einzelnen Orten nur etwa 20 Minuten "Freizeit" was für die Ausgrabungsstätte nicht viel ist, insbesondere wenn man noch 5 Minuten an der Toilettenschlange warten muss. We booked to visit Carthage. Mum is in a wheelchair so I checked that the archeological site was wheelchair friendly. The 1st stop was a museum but the lift was broken so we couldn't join the group but stayed on the ground floor. Side Bou Said is on a hill so we stayed at the car park but found some gardens to visit. Then we visited the Baths of Antonin which was difficult in the wheelchair and we only had 15 minutes. It was a good day but not as advertised. The guide was helpful and informative

My wife and I enjoyed this tour very much. The guide, Monder, was excellent, friendly and informative. However, the tour itself was not as advertised. It included a long session at the national museum in Tunis, which whilst interesting was not as expected. Lunch at La Goulette was good and the food tasty. The time at Carthage was short and we were not given the opportunity to see all the sites. In particular, we just drove past the Tophet Salammbo. Sid Bou Said was pretty, but not essential.

The trip was very informative and the driver and Mo the guide were excellent. However, the lunch was terrible and completely lets the trip down overall. There was no choice for vegetarians or vegans. It included both eggs and chicken in the dishes. The dishes were indescribably poor and quite frankly shockingly. Several other people said the same thing to me. Thankfully this didn't ruin the overall experience.

Our guide was fantastic. On the coach he talked about Tunisia, its history, landscape and people before arriving at Carthage. Good balance of his guiding and then free time around the ruins before moving onto Sidi Bou Said. All free time there to walk around this very attractive hilltop town with views over the Mediterranean. Then to the restaurant where the meal was quite dire unfortunately. Final stop was the very impressive National Museum, which rescued the lunch experience.

The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history and background to Tunisia including his own role in some of the turmoil which was fascinating. There was a lot of travelling which meant the free time to explore was limited. The food was great but we had no info about what it was going to be. The trip ended up being over 10 hours which was quite exhausting.

Trip was just long enough to cover major sites, Sidi Bou Said you get about an hour to wander around the town (think santorini or Chauchefon) without too many tourists, gentle walk down to the views of the harbour really pretty place. Carthage was a bit disappointing as we were only shown the baths even those these are impressive there are other sites within the complex, lunch actually was OK. 3 set courses and pay for your drinks. And the museum at Bardo the most impressive set of moasics.

Bardo Museum of mosaics was the best part of the trip. Carthage, Sidi Bin Soud and lunch in the restaurant were good also. The pick up in the morning was slow with many hotels visited down to Yasmine Hammamet. The return much better as when approaching Hammamet those from the northern hotels were transferred to a mini bus which made drop off much quicker.

Der Ausflug war sehr interessant und vielseitig. Unser Reiseführer war zwar nicht gerade humorvoll, allerdings immer freundlich . Er musste er alles in 3 Sprachen wiederholen , was alles etwas kompliziert machte . Zu bemängeln war ,dass wir etwas zu wenig Zeit in Sidi Bou Said zu eigenen Verfügung hatten. Das Essen war leider nicht gut. Auf der Getränkekarte stehen zwar Preise in Euro, allerdings bekommt man das gesamte Restgeld in Dinar zu einem geringeren Kurs umgerechnet.

The food was seriously lacking, there was no previous mention regarding dietary requirements, as someone with an egg allergy to be served fried egg was a big error. The meal itself was inedible, so I ordered a plate of fries and a coke zero, upon leaving, I was charged for the fries. Het oude Carthago ligt aan de rand van de hoofdstad. We beginnen onze dag met een stop aan het Carthago nationaal museum. Daarna volgen een korte stop bij het Romeinse theater van Carthago, de Punische necropolis, een grafcomplex uit de Romeinse tijd, en als laatste topper, de baden van Antonius. Na een echt heerlijke lunch rijden we een paar km's verder om aan te komen in het Santorini van Tunesië, Sidi Bou Said. Een heel fotogeniek stadje maar spijtig, veel te veel aandringende verkopers...

Saleem was very knowledgeable but left out details of Hannibal in Carthage until prompted, he had to do the tour in both English (majority) & French. (Although this was meant to be a wholly English tour.. Sidi Bou Said was very picturesque and bar great picture opportunities wasn’t as good as Chefchoun in Morocco in my opinion. The guide was very defensive when I mentioned similarities to Morocco. Lunch was a fixed meal, the staff were rude and had “no change” as we had to pay for drinks

op deze trip hadden we een heel erg goed gids, dat is een enorme meerwaarde de chauffeur een aantal keren zien bellen terwijl we aan het rijden waren, dit lijkt me niet meer van deze tijd (ook al mag het mss wel in Tunesië ?)

Our guide was very knowledgeable. The history of the places we visited was very interesting and informative. Considering we booked to see Tunisia’s answer to Santorini, we were surprised to have so much more included in the trip and Carthage was actually our preferred part. There were some lovely views from Sidi Bousaid but the walk uphill was not suitable for physically impaired.

Lots of confusion when we were picked up at the hotel. Tour guide said he'd come to the hotel earlier to pick us up & was told we were sleeping. We were told pick up time was 8.15 and we were outside at 8.05. Tour was but I would of preferred more time at Carthage with less focus on shopping

A really good trip. Carthage was really interesting and Sidi Bou Said was a beautiful place. The guide was brilliant; we learnt so much about the sites and about Tunisia in general. A nice lunch was also included. Well worth doing this trip.

Sehr guter, kompetenter und freundlicher Reiseführer. Hat perfekt in Deutsch und Französisch sehr viel Hintergrund Information gegeben und auch viel über die Kultur erzählt. War auch ein guter Bus und Busfahrer. Insgesamt ist man den ganzen Tag unterwegs.

Abholung und Transfer haben super funktioniert. Pünktlichkeit, alles top. Professioneller Guide mit vielen interessanten Informationen. Das straffe Zeitprogramm könnte etwas entzerrt werden. Das Mittagessen war leider nur mittelmäßig, und es gab keine Auskunft darüber, was es zu essen gibt. Es sollte in der Beschreibung ergänzt werden, dass die Getränke selbst bezahlt werden müssen.

Les sites visités sont à voir ...mais pas dans ces conditions. 2 changements de bus pour y aller afin de blinder le convoi de touristes, un guide très approximatif qui réalise les visites au pas de course, le repas sans saveur et sec et retour au long court avec encore les 2 changements de bus.

We booked a tour in English,however the majority appeared French a quite a few Germans so the guide had “three” translations to make which took a very long time.
Unfortunately the guide appeared to have a preference for French which left little time at distinctions.
So not very pleasurable for us.

Enjoyed the whole tour, spent just enough time at the sites and the guide was good. He stuck to the itinerary, which meant that we didn’t waste time visiting rubbish shops which was a great bonus. We did some excursions in Turkey in June which were awful and ruined because of visits to shops not on the itinerary, so it was refreshing to visit places we wanted to go. Lunch was also very good.

Der Führer war freundlich, der Fahrer besonnen. Die 'Sehenswürdigkeiten' aber waren mager: Zuerst ein Kinderfriedhof(!), dann eine kleine Meeresbucht mit Insel und ein paar Säulenresten, dann ein geschlossenes Museum von aussen, zu Schluss die Thermen. Das Mittagessen im "Restaurant" war eine Zumutung. Massenabfertigung, die schmutzigen Tische mussten von den Gästen erst selber abgeräumt werden. Der Kellner gab zuwenig Rückgeld, da er angeblich keine Münzen hatte!

Our tour guide was absolutely amazing. Once everyone who was taking part in the tour had boarded the coach our guide reintroduced himself & set out the plan for the day so that we knew what to expect. Throughout the journey he pointed out various landmarks of Tunisia, modern & historic. He also told us a bit about Tunisian culture. Our guide remained close by and always ensured we had clear designated meeting points, should we get lost. All in all we had a great experience & would rebook

CARTHAGE, Museum war geschlossen! Man hat fast nichts gesehen. Das Mittagessen war sehr schlecht, besonders das Ambiente. SIDI BOUSAID war sehr schön. Der Reiseleiter war sehr gut, sehr nett und hat sehr viel über die Geschichte erzählt. Der Busfahrer war nicht so gut, wir hatten einen Unfall bei er ein Fahrzeug beschädigt hatte. Der Busfahrer hat lautstark mit dem Geschädigten herumgeschrien. Dem Reiseleiter ist es kaum gelungen, ihn zu beruhigen.

Our guide was exceptional (I think it was Fanji or Monji?). He clearly loved his job, was so knowledgeable and he added so much extra, general information into the tour. It was a fantastic day and we are really glad we did it. I thought Carthage would be underwhelming from what I had read, and expected rumps of rocks but it was so much more than I expected. It must have been a truly beautiful place and it was so obvious from what was left. Lunch was good too

We really enjoyed. Guide was knowledgeable, everything well run. Carthage excellent, the guide explained the history, I travelled alone with 2 sons 10 and 12, we all enjoyed. We went to a monument, views were outstanding over the city, we got great photos. Lunch was ok - restaurant had a traditional egg starter, chicken and rice main then ice cream - nice but plain. You pay for drinks. Sidi bousaid was beautiful guide walked us away from touristy area, great pictures and view, shops very pricey!

Small amount of time at each site was enough. Locals in Sidi Bousaid only looking to scam tourisits. Pushy sellers and shop keepers. Museum recommended by guide tried to short change customers not familiar with coinage. Drinks not included in meal

De gids vertelde leuk en informatief. De tour is een mix van geschiedenis in de ochtend en in de middag meer rondwandelen en mooie plaatjes schieten in Sidi Bou Said. Ik weet niet of het altijd zo druk is, maar dat was het enige nadeel. Busladingen toeristen werden afgezet bij beiden plekken. Hou rekening met opdringerige verkopers die hier graag gebruik van maken. Toch zou ik dit alles even voor lief nemen, het is het wel waard. Lunch was goed, voor de vegetariërs naast ons was het iets minder.

Ein gut organisierter und schöner Ausflug. Der Tourguide war kompetent, sprach gut deutsch und gab neben der eigentlichen Tour auch interessante Einblicke über das Land. Die Location des Mittagessens (Popeyes) fanden wir nur mittelmäßig und hier und da hätte etwas mehr Zeit zur freien Bewegung bei den Objekten gut getan - es war aber auch nie wirklich stressig. Würden wir wieder buchen.

The Carthage and Sidi Bou Said trip is well worth going on. The tour guide is great and his knowledge is extensive. We stopped at various places on the way to Carthage for photo opportunities and the views at Sidi Bou Said are stunning. The whole experience is so worth the price.

My overall experience was very good. I made a mistake with date which was resolved. Trip on my chosen day was cancelled but they offered me alternative dates or full refund. On the day, transport arrived on time and I had a lovely day. Enjoyed the sights, lunch and freetime in Sidi Bou Said.

Believed we were going to see more of ruins at Carthage, not just the Byrsa, & the baths. I know no one can help that museum & cathedral were closed, but meant there was little to see, & any info not in English. Guide tried his best, but with a large group with varies disabilities, he struggled to get info across. Lunch was poor, but acceptable, given the price. Found Sidi Bou Said very commercialised.

Some times found it difficult to keep up with younger people on our tour. Lovely visit to Carthage & Sidi Bou Said. However it is difficult to avoid being hassled by stall holders, we don't want to be rude but no thankyou, should be enough!

The visit was great, the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Felt very safe on the coach and got very sensible advice from the driver about dealing with some of the local salespeople. The only downside for me was that we were given alot of free time in Sidi bou Said to shop, I would rather have spent that time at the historical sites. Having said that, the town is beautiful and worth a visit!

It was a fantastic trip and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and approachable. My friend and I had a lovely time and especially enjoyed the tour of the Tunisian house museum which was an optional addition. Lunch was adequate but not prepared for vegetarians.

What a beautiful day trip. The guide and driver are were extremely professional and arrived in a timely manner. I have only positive comments and the meal was yummy. Without the trip I would not of been able to witness some of the beauty of Tunisia.

Guide I struggled to understand, often rambling on about things which had no relevance, also the food at the lunch stop was poor, and felt like everywhere we went the guide was pushing us towards people he knew. Railroaded! The hotel, is ok, a little shabby, needs a bit of work, dome of the staff overly tactile, some ignorant as sin. Beds firm. Water hot. Food very poor. Cold, tasteless repetitive minimal choice. Often same stuff day in day out. Under cooked, poor hygiene control.

Wir hatten einen sehr kompetenten und gut informierten Reiseführer, mit dem die Wanderung durch Carthago und Sidi Bou Saiid richtig Spaß machten. Die Geschichtskenntnisse von Salah waren beeindruckend. Aufbau der Reiseroute mit dem Bus und den diversen Stopps war erstklassig. Das war ein sehr schöner Tag mit einem tollen Ausflug. Jederzeit wieder!

Der Guide hat tolle Tipps für den Markt bspw. gegeben. Aber bevor es erst einmal los ging, wurden mit einem Kleinbus von unterschiedlichen Hotels und Orten Gäste abgeholt, bis dann in einen großen Bus umgestiegen wurde. Das dauerte über 2 Stunden.

Fantastic guide, with a huge depth of knowledge of the areas visited and the country as a whole, presented in and informative yet humorous way. There is a lot of walking, which on a hot day was taxing, but it was well worth the effort. The lynch (included) was average at best, but wasn't the main reason for the trip anyway. A great insight into the Carthage area

The tour was overall OK. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The lunch however was terrible - no choice around the meal and the food was inedible. Would suggest not using that restaurant again. Drinks should be provided too (alcohol extra fair enough).

Der Reiseleiter war super. Ich habe viel über Tunesien dazu gelernt. Man sollte jedoch die Reisenden darüber informieren, dass bevor die Tour losgeht erst noch über 1 Stunde mindestens noch 5 andere Hotels angefahren werden. Und das selbe Spiel wieder auf der Rückfahrt. Das war nicht gut organisiert.

De plekken die je bezoekt zijn het waard, maar wij deden het op een dag waarop het bij 40 graden was en de buschauffeur de airco niet lager dan 22 graden wilde doen (want dat was te koud). We gingen kapot! Halverwege werd er wel een nieuwe bus geregeld. Tevens was de gids een aardige man, maar alles ging heel snel. Hij liep snel van punt naar punt, praatte heel veel, maar zei weinig en het was moet heel persoonlijk

Visites incontournables lorsqu’on séjourne à Hammamet et qu’on s’intéresse à l’histoire et la culture locale. Les différentes étapes pour découvrir une petite partie des vestiges de Carthage et de l’histoire millénaire de cette cité antique sont très intéressantes (bien qu’un peu trop courtes) et Sidi Bousaïd est une magnifique petite ville même si très touristique. Merci à notre guide qui nous as même appris à écrire nos noms en arabe.
