The staff were very well organised and friendly, the meal was lovely 4 small courses cooked fresh with wine and water, it was great to swim in the hot springs on the way (don’t wear jewellery or anything white that you don’t want to turn orange!) the sunset was breathtaking on the return. Thank you for a stress free sunset cruise experience. No waiting around or hassle and suitable for all ??????. Drinks can be bought on board and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and see the sights.

Amazing way to witness the sunset. Beautiful cruise around the caldera with a stop off for a very decent three course meal. The option to swim in the sea and the hot springs was brilliant. Only gripe was that the pick up arrived 25 minutes after the stated time. Didn’t really spoil the overall experience though. Highly recommended.

I’ll start with the negative, the food. It’s ********** awful, find somewhere else for food or take a picnic, as Captain whatshisface is awful food, the reviews are consistent in this. Otherwise all is well, the hosts are brilliant, humoured and knowledgeable, route of the sail is perfect, the swim was great and that sunset, WOW! Just change the ********** food, it’s really awful.

My friend and I booked this trip last minute. We were slittle unsure what to expect, however, we were pleasantly surprised and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were very friendly and ensured we were safe as the day of our cruise the weather was not on our side it was very choppy and windy out at sea. The crew reassured us and took us to hot springs for us to take a swim and then onto the island for lunch, the lunch was lovely traditional Greek food. We then watched the sunset. AGreat trip

Enjoyed the swim in the volcanic springs, sunset beautiful. Staff extremely helpful when getting on and off, especially considerate of my mobility issues. The meal was OK, not brilliant, but there was a vegetarian option for the main and starters all veggie anyway. Loved the view from the restaurant and all the beautiful cats! There was just a nice number of people on board so we all had seats and could see. A trip worth doing!

The guide taking us on the bus was terrible and really did not see the point of him. Made us stand outside the bus in the heat, stating everyone to arrive first before getting on. Then eventually when he let us on the bus we had to wait approx 20 mins for someone who hadn’t turned up. No information was provided on the bus of to expect etc. He just said that’s your boat as it sailed away. Fortunately the boat turned around and picked us up. We were literally individually thrown on the full boat

Boat and coach staff very good and provided clarity, boat doesn’t allow for best view of sunset due to volume of people and direction of chairs, the meal was poor, food and restaurant service was distinctly average, you were also forced to sit on a small table with strangers. Toilet facilities at restaurant were difficult to access for those less mobile

We did not know that you had the opportunity to swim in hot springs. It was only when we arrive at meeting point and saw people with swimming clothes on that we realised. This wasn't actually a problem for us as we didn't want to jump off the ship. But it could be explained in the info.

A great excursion but a little over crowded. Timely collection and drop off. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, great info on the local area and history, thank you Nathalie. Boat trip was good, the captain obviously knows the waters! Food and wine at Captain John’s was very good. Sunset was fantastic until the sun went behind a cloud….luck of the draw! Would recommend.

Our guide Natalie was great from start to finish. The tour itself was enjoyable it was interesting to know the history of Santorini. The food at Captain John was nice. It was a nice touch that wine was also offered. Service was good but felt it was a bit rushed as when finishing the meal there wasn’t much time to explore around. The sunset is absolutely beautiful to see the boat stops and you’re able to watch. Overall great value for money.

Very prompt pick up and comfortable bus. All ran very smoothly. Got into the boat and set off for an optional swim in the hot springs. The guide was very informative so I knew what to expect when going for a swim. Back on the boat we went to Captain Johns where we got 4 Greek style dishes. These were delicious but fairly small portions. Back on the boat, we stopped to watch the gorgeous sunset, with a fantastic view and then set of home. The whole experience was fantastic and went very smoothly

Fantastic value for money, includes nearly 6 hours and a meal, a swim in the volcanic hot springs (just be aware these are in open deep water - I don't think this is clear on the website, we expected a rock pool!), and a relaxing sunset cruise. Highly recommend. The hotel pickup was a bit late but not unexpected given the traffic in Santorini! Meal was nice, local food and sufficient size despite comments we read saying the serve sizes were too small. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The pick up from Kamari was 20 minutes late but the traffic was in Kamari was bad so its understandable. The guide was great, The Bus was good too. Staff very helpful on embarking and disembarking the boat, Points of interest pointed out & brief history of the island explained by guides. We seen Oia /Thira/Therassia etc from the boat, The meal was just ok in all honesty ( small portions ). I absolutely loved the boat trip though & "The Sunset" was utterly AWESOME. Highly recommend.

The pick up from our hotel was on time and we were met by a TUI rep. The cruise and sunset was AMAZING! The guide was very knowledgeable, informing us about areas as we traveled to the port. Once onboard all the crew were very friendly. The meal was ok, nothing special if I’m honest.

The transfer to the trip was ok. The trip home was very poor and a bit of a shambles. I felt the trip was rushed and the trip at Captain John's was a mad rush and all squeezed in to a quarter of the space. Food was good but rushed. Not the best trip I've been on.

After booking you are sent an e-ticket which tells you where you will be picked up, we went to the suit of the gods, we waited opposite near the car park on the main road, the pick up driver was on time, we then had to wait for the boat to arrive which was around 20 minutes, could have been more clear on where to pick us up and where we would be going next, however once on the boat we had a lovely time, remember to take cash as drinks aren’t included and only accept cash! Food was great!

The pick up and drop off needs to be better, we were not on any list to be returned to Pygros Restaurant although one of the coaches did take us after I asked. We went on the same trip last year and really enjoyed it and the same again this time. No guide on our coach but we had one on the boat but not a Tui guide which are always best. The meal and service is very good, food was good and hot and the staff are very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend the sunset cruise.

The staff on the boat (not guide and translators) were quite grumpy. The road down to the port was really nerve wracking and I wasn’t aware of that. Also there wasn’t a photo stop to allow for photos of the sunset which I was expecting. It was just go for dinner and come back. The dinner I thought was poor and again staff grumpy, one course brought out before the previous was finished. Would have liked more time on thirissia

Trip was great if you don't mind being packed in like sardines or being told where to sit for dinner. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves but felt it was a bit rushed and we didn't swim as the guide led us to believe that you needed to be a very strong swimmer, which was disappointing.

We didn't enjoy the drive down or back to Athinos port. The road is horrendous! Once we had arrived at the port, the rest of the trip went well. Dinner is a ok, Greek salad, tomato ball, fava dip, pork and potatoes, honey with prunes and yogurt. Wine was not to our taste. We just had enough time to eat and had to go straight back on board for the ride ro watch the sunset 10 mins from the port.

It was a great trip and to be fair the best sunset, oia ( town with blue roofs in the distance) swimming off the boat great and if not a strong swimmer they had floating aids , meal was ok at a port restaurant , had to buy drinks on boat but overall well worth doing

Really enjoyed our sunset cruise, felt it was real value for money. The pick up and journey to the port was easy. However once on the boat we had to abort leaving port twice as other passengers transfers were delayed. Get this impacted on the time we got in the water. Meal was tasty however a menu would have been appreciated so we knew what we were eating. Sunset was stunning in the caldera, maybe some more music to help with atmosphere. Would highly recommend

We really enjoyed our trip. the swimming experience in the spring was great, I would advise that you take an old swimming costume as it does stain your clothes orange. The meal at Captain Johns was quite nice and the sunset was lovely, it was a little cloudy on the day we went, however it was still very pretty. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

Good value for money. Sailing boat was beautiful. Meal wasn't soo good but still edible. If jumping into hotsprings take a pool noodle as you have around 15/20 mins to get there and back on the boat so have to move fast. Would recommend.

The trip itself was actually very good. However, we didn't really know what to expect because there was limited information available about the schedule at the time of booking. For those wanting to know, there's a half hour stop in the hot springs, where you can swim, followed by and hour cruise past First and Oia. You then have about an hour and a half for dinner, leaving the restaurant about 45 minutes before sunset and are returned to shore once the sun has set.

We thought the whole trip was well organised. Plenty of historic pieces of information as we went. The thermal pool dip was a nice experience and the meal at Captain Johns was very pleasant. It is an ideal opportunity to view the islands from a different perspective and have an uninterrupted view of the sunset.

The ship was lovely but very full so no room to move around. The crew were friendly and helped you on and off the boat. We were told about the stop at the hot springs. However they did not mention that you needed to be a strong swimmer as you would have to jump in the sea and swim to it.

Enjoyed the cruise, stop off at Thirassia, sunset stop. Dined at a restaurant where limited choice of food was offered, only one option available for alternative diet, would be better if the options for alternative diet were more diverse. Would also have been beneficial if earlier advice was given about hot springs in terms of orange residue on clothes from the area, so we could prepare for this prior to going on the cruise and have appropriate clothing.

The cruise itself was good. We went as a couple and were picked up at the the designated point by taxi along with another couple. The taxi journey was very scared. The driver dodged in and out of traffic queues meeting oncoming vehicles. When we got to the port we were just dropped off and told to ask somebody where to go. We did this but nobody knew where we should be. I rang TUI and was told the name of the boat but again nobody knew of it. I managed to catch a TUI rep in her car who helped us

- not enough information about what the trip actually included - hadn’t realised about the stop-offs and where - the food was extremely poor and almost inedible - the wine was disgusting - had an obscured view of the sunset as the captain didn’t move the boat around so only one side of the boat had a proper view - the trip didn’t need to be as long as that. It could be shorter and cheaper to just see the sunset

The cruise overall was good, couldn’t fault the staff/tour guides they were great and very very helpful! The scenes were amazing and amazing sunset with music in the background. The food at captain johns was very poor and should not be advertised as a meal which is included in the price, I came away hungry it was that poor. I’d say slightly too many people on the boat too. Overall would have been 10/10 if it didn’t include the meal.

waiting on the boat in the harbour for 30 mins. food at captain johns was mediocre/poor with cats roaming all over restaurant, I'm allergic to the horrible creatures. captain pugwash on the boat didn't pick a good place to see the sunset, music on the boat was expected to be nice/romantic as it was all couples but was all in bad taste, listening to "I'm sexy and I know it" while watching a sunset isn't ideal. This was conversed to the child tour guide who said "captains boat so his music"

My husband and I loved this trip. Swimming in the hot springs was great, even if the brown water doesn’t look very inviting-it’s lovely and warm and the mud is meant to be healing. The meal on the island of Thirassia was nice and in a fabulous sea front location. After the meal you get some beautiful views of Oia and Fira before witnessing the stunning sunset. The only part I didn’t enjoy was the lunatic coach driver taking the hairpin bends far too fast!

A lovely way to spend the evening and enjoy the sunset on the water. The boat was very full and the port incredibly chaotic but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Would have preferred a more relaxed venue for dinner as Captain John’s was heaving and service was rushed. The staff were all lovely however.

Overall was great Value for money,Sunset is obviously weather dependant and we hit gold so was perfect Things to improve Tui overbooked bus so took ages for Rep to check everyone's names as 4 standing had to be taken off,,our Driver was very harassed as kept pointing to watch to Rep.But when we got to last section of the journey down to Port realised why he knew if we left late he hit traffic,comeing up from Port,lots of Haulage lorries so well done driver.PA system on boat not great.

Overall the cruise itself was very good. The guide was very knowledgeable and the views of Oia and Fira from sea were excellent. Stopping in the middle of the sea to watch the sunset was also very good, however the food served at Captain Johns as part of the trip was a big let down and was more a kin to a very poor school meal.

Lovely boat; great cruise along the west coast before heading to the islands. Meal at Captain John’s was very good - 4 courses plus water and wine - tasty food and very efficient service. The coach transfer was a bit disorganised- too many people initially and a couple had to move to another vehicle. There was no safety briefing on the boat and no mention of life-jackets. The guide on the boat really didn’t sell the spa swim: she said you and to be a really good swimmer and the water wasn’t hot

The transfer bus was late picking us up so we were late boarding which left very little space for us to sit. So for first part of journey the boat felt overcrowded. After dinner people spread themselves out more so was more room when we returned to the boat. The guide was fantastic and when we stopped to watch the sunset until the sun had set it was stunning, you could have heard a pin drop

In my opinion this is the BEST way to see the sunset. The staff on the boat were hardworking and friendly. The meal at Captain Johns was basic but tasty - fresh Greek salad served with crusty bread, Santorini tomato fritters, pork with veg & Greek yogurt with fruit syrup. Again the service was excellent. Back on board you sail around and have the perfect position to watch the sunset without the huge crowds you get at OIA. Definitely worth the money.

Enjoyed the boat trip itself. Lovely sunset but not as out of this world as you’d be made to think. The transfer to the port was shocking. The driver from NSTravel was angry because he was a little late. Some seats on the coach were dangerous and we genuinely thought we might have been in a collision on the way to port to catch the boat. The food in Captain John’s Taverna was AWFUL.

Wonderful experience to see the volcano and history of Santorini. Swimming in the hot springs and mud was a great experience. Dinner on an island too was lovely and topped off watching the sunset. Overall great value for money. Make sure you take a change of clothes to swim and something to cover up watching the sunset as it did get a little chilly. The voucher was a little vague too about the picks ups and itinerary but the trip itself was truly amazing
