The guides knowledge was amazing He told us so much about the area amd the history on the coach there. Bled is lovely and you have 50mins in the castle. 2 hrs in bled where you can also try the famous bled cream cake. about 40 mins on the island after the lovely boat trip. Coach from rovinji was 2hrs 45 with stops to pick up feeder minibuses and refreshment/ comfort breaks.

Our guide was fantastic with in-depth knowledge of the countries, landscape and history. The trip is long but the interesting commentary really helped the time to fly. Lake Bled is a hidden gem. Going to the castle first is great as it really shows the lake and church off to its best. Our guide did a great job on trying to ensure everyone was back in time for evening dinner. I do think a little time could be shaved of the coach stops and free time to reduce the risk.

Lovely day out albeit very long as expected. Transferring to another bus at a gas station not the best experience and no communication about this or telling us what to expect. Stopped there with a driver who could not communicate to us as non-English or German speaking and we did not know what was happening. Also a lot of people with mobility issues on this trip who should not have been sold as it was completely unsuitable for them

We enjoyed the excursions, we did however find that we were rushing at every venue. So could not take in all the buitifull scenery. me personally i think that it was too much walking for some of the older generations, So this may need explaining when boking the tour. It took 14 hours there and back due to unforseen problems,which wasent anyone's fault,but too long in the coach.All the areas we went were beautiful though,we thought a lunch should have been included for theprice though.

Third time we’ve done this trip and every time has been wonderful. A long journey but well worth it. Bled is a lovely clean town and the scenery and views from the castle and around the lake are a must. The horse drawn carriage ride around the lake, although expensive, is well worth doing . We will definitely be doing this trip again next time we are in Croatia.

The trip was fabulous. Our guide Tin was knowledgable and extremely helpful and friendly. He made the trip and information fun and very interesting. Our driver was Daniel. He drove with care and was helpful and friendly. Between them they made our excursion to Lake Bled a fabulous day out.

From Medulin the tour takes too long. We were stuck in traffic so it took 6 hours to get there. Our guide kept us entertained with info and facts along yhe way. The castle was fab but we needed more time there. The horse and carriage rife was worth doing. The boat trip to the island was lovely but again more time was needed there. Overall too long on the coach for time actually spent enjoying ourselves. If you're closer, it's worth it.

This trip although a long day was very enjoyable. Mario was an excellent tour guide and right from the start of the trip told us exactly where we were going and when. We enjoyed the Bled Castle, the boat trip to the island in the middle of the lake. We also enjoyed the horse and carriage ride which we didn't mind paying extra for. The coach was very comfy and clean, with good ventilation. We liked the fact that lunch wasn't provided as we like to choose where to eat as my partner veggie

The location of the trip was beautiful. However, it was described as an 8 hour trip but it took over 12. We were disappointed there were so many stops on the way to and from Lake Bled, at petrol stations and couldn’t understand why. Our guide was brilliant, very knowledgable and patient. I think it should be made clearer that the journey to and from Lake Bled takes so long with all the toilet stops.

Lake Bled was an amazing experience and although you are a long time on the coach it it worth it. From the moment you are picked up at the hotel you are looked after well. We had a very knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly guide called Tin who made the journey more pleasant and the driver Daniel who made it a smooth journey. It was a lovely memorable day.

Tin the guide and Daniel the bus driver did us proud with superb knowledge and ensuring we all had a great time. It was perfectly worked so that we saw Bled Castle first and so the overall layout of Lake Bled. Then had a time for ourselves around the lake following by a wonderful Pletna boat trip to the church. Long journey but well worth the long day. Again all plaudits to Tin and Daniel ????

Collected from our Hotel by mini bus, driver was polite but exceeded the speed limits, which gave me anxiety, especially due to the weather conditions. Met our guide Mauro, who had a great source of information which he shared and made the long drive interesting. Our coach driver Victtoro was very polite and accommodating, offering to alter the air conditioning to suit. Although a long day. Well planned stops and explained in advance.

Everything that we visited was good. The problem that I have is the time away, we were away for 15 hours, 12 hours on the coach and 3 hours visiting the place. It was all a complete rush which is bonkers given the time that we were away. It’s probably the most expensive bus ride I’ve ever had, to be honest the best part was the horse and carriage ride which cost another 70 euros. We had three buses, 2 drivers and 1guide, we spent 2 hours at a service station and 1 hour caught up in road works.

Lake Bled was stunning but we felt that the cost of the trip was far too much and not good value for money, the stops for toilets and coffee were basic motorway caffes who charged for toilet use, there was too much rushing and we would have forgone the castle visit in order to spend more time in lake Bled as it simply wasnt enough time..didnt have time to eat! Food and drink needs to be arranged and included in this trip. No food or drink allowed on the coach is not good as this was a 12hour jou

This was a great day out for our little group. Our guide Mauro was extremely knowledgable about the history of Croatia and Slovenia. We were picked up at 7:25 and had 3 pick ups along the way and were very lucky with the roadworks in both directions. Highlights - Bled Castle and boat ride to the island. Also, as an extra, a horse drawn carriage trip round the lake for 70 euros but worth every cent. You’ll need to be fairly fit to get up the castle but the views totally worth it !

The day is very long, having to pick up from multiple hotels and then drop them back off again at the end of the day so in total it was around 15 hours. The guide was very informative and very lovely, but he did talk a lot. The entire drive from 07:25 right up until we were on the way back I don’t think there was a moment of silence so maybe bring some headphones, but it was all amazing. The most beautiful country I’ve ever visited and enjoyed every single part of it. Even the talking.

Was a lot of travelling for what felt like a really rushed experience. Bled, the castle, and the lake are all beautiful - but we were not given sufficient time to experience it properly. From a 12 hr trip we had less than 4 hrs of actual experience - this trip would benefit from being a 2 day overnight experience

A wonderful day. Our day was particularly great due to the care and attention our guide Tin gave us. He shared his expert knowledge with us on the coach journey which gave us more free time and a better understanding of the area. No complaints at all.

Needed more time in the castle insufficient time to explore property. Beautiful stunning locations and views are exquisite. Guide was informative, helpful. Boat trip to the church was good. Two hours in the town of Bled was too long, this time should be spent in the castle. There is a lot of steps and steep incline on this tour. Well worth the journey time and nice to visit two countries in one holiday.

Trip is advertised on your website as 8 hours. It was actually 12.5 from pickup to drop off. We had to cancel our evening plans. Very annoying. Trip itself was good. Would have preferred more time at the castle and less on the island. Loved the boats to and from the island but the island itself was dull and very expensive.

Very long journey there and back but the actual activity was great. Beautiful place, lake bled was amazing and the church in the middle of the lake was beautiful. The castle visit was also really great. Would recommend this trip if you don't mind a long journey. Scenery on the journey was stunning. Slovenia was beautiful

We enjoyed the tour early start at 7.30 a full 12 hrs, returning at 19.30. Four hrs each way to lake bled including stops. The castle and visit to the island was a bit rushed, could have done with a bit more time there. The town and the lake is beautiful. I would recommend.

The TUI rep on the tour was fantastic and very knowledgeable. The trip was a happy one and fun too. Everyone got on with everyone. All in all an fantastic trip. Only fault would be that lunch might have been included as the price was quite high and it was an all day trip leaving at 7:30 and not getting back to the hotel until 9pm. The hotel was very good and supplied us with a packed lunch but the price maybe should have included something to eat.

Lake Bled is a beautiful area of Slovenia to visit and would recommend it to anyone. It was a long day from Medulin a round trip of 13hrs so 9hrs in total on a coach.

An absolutely fantastic day from start to finish. We were picked up on time and the guide and driver (‘Mickie’ and Daniel) were excellent. The drive was long but it passed quickly with scheduled stops and stunning Slovenian scenery. Lake Bled is picture perfect and we had just the right amount of time to explore the lake, castle and island. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous trip beautiful country on the way from Medulin. Guide was brilliant full of history and very helpful. You do not need passports as stated on Tui guide this was changed in 2023 no boarder control now . Take food long trip but you do stop on way so there is time for snack . Plenty of time in lake bled we did the carriage ride definitely worth it shows you the lake and if you share it is cheaper . Stunning place you have to visit.

Mauro was very informative, but we felt a little bombarded by facts. The fact that they knew there were traffic issues, particularly on a Friday makes you wonder why run it on a Friday at all?? Having said that, the long journey was broken with stops, and the view from Bled Castle was spectacular. Pity it has little of historic interest in there, other than one suit of armour and some pipes!

Plenty of time to see the castle, a trip on horse and carriage around the lake and eat some of the famous cake before the included boat trip across to the church in the lake. There wasn't really enough time to go in the church so we sat with our feet in the lake admiring the beautiful view instead. Slovenia is spectacular and our guide gave us a really good history of it. We plan to return to try the summer tobogganing and a day boating on the lake as well as a trip to Ljubljana.

Mauro our guide was excellent in his knowledge and his organisation of the day. Slovenia and Lake Bled were stunning and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. The recommendation to do the horse carriage ride around the lake was spot on. We were so glad we booked it. It was a long day but so worth it!

A great trip & worth the long day. Guide Maurio was brilliant and so was driver Daniel. Maurio was very knowledgeable about the region & the day was planned very well to make sure we could make the most of our time in Bled. The only downside was collecting guests from hotels slightly out of the way, which delayed the journey time going, but they accommodated this on the way back. Maurio was so good that he even telephone our hotel as we would be back a few minutes late for dinner!

A very long day (3-4 hours there and back) but still HIGHLY recommend, Lake Bled is the most beautiful place you don’t want to miss seeing. Decent value for money considering length of the excursion. TUI Rep told us to bring passports, but you DON’T need these now. Also got told by TUI reps annoyingly not to bring swim stuff, but definitely DO as there are stunning places in the lake to swim and we wish we’d have known this.

The only drawback was the limited time we had to actually spend in Lake Bled, always having to watch the clock. We appreciate that it is a long journey and time slots have to be kept but a bit longer time would have been nice as it is a spectacular place. Overall we had an excellent day.

It’s a very long day but totally worth it. The guide is fantastic and once you’re there you don’t feel rushed and there is plenty to see. It’s great value for money too. And of course, it’s breathtakingly beautiful!

Good day overall but time lost at border crossing impacted negatively on the day reducing the time available at Bled and led to quite a late return to hotel, having just about made it back for dinner- others where not so lucky, I fear. Obviously this is out of Tui’s and the guide’s control. Should not be an issue in future years as Croatia will be joining the Schengen zone in 2023, apparently. Trip still well worth the hassle, though.

Enjoyed the trip and it was well organised. I found that there wasn't much to see at some of the locations visited, which was a bit disappointing after a long drive. Guide Mauro was great and enjoyed the boat ride to the chapel. It was a bit upsetting to see a couple left behind because they forgot their passport when their hotel was so close to the pickup point.

Long but excellent day out. Well planned with a very informative guide. Beautiful Lake Bled and learning so much more about Slovenia was worth the travel. Excellent logistics for drop off and pick up minimising faff for everyone from different hotels.

Although it was a long day, the whole trip was brilliant. From pick up, to being dropped back off at our hotel everything went smoothly. The guide (Mauro) was very informative, friendly and funny. He was intent on making sure everyone had the best day possible. We saw so much and made the most of our trip, thanks to his recommendations. Well worth it.

We enjoyed the whole experience, Lake bled was beautiful, the excursion covered a good amount in the time. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The optional horse and cart ride was worth the money and very enjoyable.

The whole trip was well planed out, just the right amount of time at each stop. Only negative was tui could have informed us that only euros are accepted once you cross the border. This was a little annoying as had plenty euros at home and had to buy more which was money spent unnecessarily. However as from Jan 1st Croatia is going over to euros so next year it won’t matter

A super day out to a stunning location. Well organised, well looked after, well informed, everything went well. The guide was very informative, the driver even assisted in making it easier at passport control. The view from the Fort, the carriage ride, the boat ride to the church and the kremsnita over looking the lake. Absolute Heaven a must do trip.

The destination was beautiful and the guide was very good although he spoke an awful lot! Giving too much info on the politics of the country. Timing of some parts felt a little rushed but perhaps that's because I am used to travelling without guides, etc. Horse carriage ride looked a bit cramped for those sharing a carriage but my friend and I had one by ourselves so it was comfortable.

The perfect opportunity to visit another country whilst on holiday in Croatia A pleasant 2 - 3 hour journey from Porec ( depending on Border Control and traffic ) Lake Bled is beautiful , and will not disappoint , but I would have liked a short tour of the capital , Ljubljana , just to " round off " the tour and to say I'd seen more of such a small country I know that this 2 centre tour is available from other companies , so why not Tui ?? Leave a half hour earlier and a little bit less time in Lake Bled and maybe it all could have been done Other than that , don't miss this tour !!
