Visit the fantastic St. Peter's Cathedral, built by Charlemagne in the 8th century. If you wish, take a tour of the cathedral and look at the many columns and art objects.Your tour will end at the only middle-aged town hall in Europe that was neither destroyed nor rebuilt. Today it is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
