Verruil strandlakens voor pijnbomen tijdens deze cultuurrijke s Middags in de heuvels van Skiathos. Begin bij de kerk van de aartsengelen met een adembenemend uitzicht en lokale legendes, en ga dan naar het verborgen klooster van Evangelistria, waar de eerste vlag van Griekenland werd gehesen. Pauzeer voor Griekse koffie en zoetigheden, verken iconen en relikwieën in het museum en sluit af met een glas lokale wijn in een rustige, met geschiedenis doordrenkte omgeving.

I thought the trip was relaxed and informative.The guide Michael was amusing and full of knowledge.It was lovely to see more inside the interior of Skiathos and wondeeful views towards the sea. I would recommend this delightful cultural trip away from the crowds.

This trip was so interesting, made extra special by our guide, Michael who was absolutely brilliant and passionate about the tour. He was so knowledgeable and was quite eccentric and this just made the trip. There was an issue with transport collecting us from hotel (I had to ring TUI as pickup time stated 3pm from hotel but they then informed me it was 3.30pm when in fact the message never actually got through to the guide so we were quite delayed leaving which was stressful).

Really enjoyed the afternoon. Guide knowledgeable and interesting. Perhaps do not suggest that there is a wine tasting but that ,at the monastery, their home made wine is for sale and you can sample a small glass. No one to guide you through the tastes, production or history.

A pleasant few hours visiting 2 churches and a monastery with Michael who was a very interesting and informative guide with a lovely easy manner. Very little walking and a small glass of wine but enjoyed it.

Not as advertised. Three monasteries not two. Too much information. No wine tasting! Expected a more balanced experience, two monasteries and some wine to help mull over what we’d seen. The one large monastery and wine tasting would have been ideal. As it was I was all out by the time we’d got to the main event.

Guide Michael was excellent, very knowledgeable and entertaining. However, trip was very expensive. We were not picked up from our hotel but had to make our own way to Skiathos Harbour and still paid the same as those who had transport from other parts of the island. Also, there was no wine tasting.

Great trip, our guide Michael was so knowledgeable and made it very interesting. Just a point that on the trip info it says there is a wine tasting session which didn't happen. Would be great to have tasted the wine or liquers that they make at the monastery.

Our guide, Michael, was excellent. Very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Really knew his subject. The monastery was beautiful and the monk’s liqueurs well worth sampling.

The guide on this trip was excellent. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Made the trip enjoyable. The details said there was 'Hike@ and 'Wine Tasting'.... The hike was a gentle stroll from one spot to another, no hiking involved, and the wine tasting was not exactly as promised, just a swig in the shop before a retail opportunity. That said it was a great trip and I would highly recommend if only for the 'Michael Palin' style guide's delivery....Highly entertaining.

The information around the pick up time was total incorrect and therefore we waited for more than 40 mins. That said this was a great afternoon with a some group and an excellent guide. Very enjoyable.

Great tour, Michael was amazing and so knowledgeable.
Shame the tour was cut short due to people being late and the bus waiting for them. Really rushed the whole experience.
Otherwise fabulous.
