Isla Mujeres in de Caribische Zee ligt vlakbij het één na langste rifsysteem ter wereld: het Meso-Amerikaanse Barrièrerif. Maria, een van onze lokale gidsen, zegt: "Het is een schitterende plek om te snorkelen tussen de oogverblindende Caribische kleuren. Denk daarbij aan wit zand en het aquamarijne water van de zee." Zodra je aan boord van onze luxe catamaran stapt, word je begroet met een welkomstdrankje. Er is snorkeluitrusting op de boot om te gebruiken tijdens de zwemstops. Of je relaxt gewoon op de Balinese ligbedden bij de beach club.Dan is het tijd om je smaakpapillen te prikkelen met ons premium grill lunchbuffet dat wordt geserveerd in de exclusieve Beach Club Amazonas. Altijd heerlijk om tijdens vakantie met een boot het water op te gaan, lekker drinken, lekker relaxen. Dat was dit zeker! Aan drinken en eten geen tekort op de boot en het eiland. Zeker top! Snorkelen was waardeloos. Als een kudde met zwemvest achter snorkelleider, 2 handsculpturen van t museum zien en de snorkelleider duikt naar schildpad om hem aan te raken, wat juist uit den boze is daar. Op eiland winkelen in 100 dezelfde winkeltjes en vergast worden met de golfkarretjes. Het was t net niet.

The service was amazing Flipy and his team kept the drinks constantly flowing. I felt totally safe during the snorkelling and exploring the island. The free time was enough to explore each stop. Bring sun cream as it’s a very long day but totally worth it. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cancun.

Feel like we were scammed into buying the “biodegradable” suncream for $40 although they made it out we’d need it all day where in fact we only needed it for the first 30 mins and feel like we could’ve went without for this time period as it was at 9am

No I instructions on life jacket usage given! Life jacket uncomfortable & obstructive to swimming/ snorkeling! Lunch not too exciting with no desserts such as ice cream! Golf buggy trip long & not very exciting! Would have been better as a bus trip to the final mujeres statues!

Our guide and the crew on the Atlantis 2 were brilliant, couldn’t do enough for us and the rest of the guests on the trip. Special shout out to our guide Daphne she was AMAZING !! Really knowledge and very friendly as a family we are all still talking about how nice she was.

Everything went great from start to finish. Fab air conditioned coach, very informative staff especially Angel. Adult only trip was amazing and looking at other catamarans around us they seemed overcrowded where as there was approx 16 people on ours. Golf cart was my fave part of exploring the island. Great fun with stunning views and gorgeous photo opportunities

Was left stranded on jetty, catamaran had left us 1 hour earlier than was supposed to. Finally had to queue a long time and pay 10 dollars for a taxi to beach club, the rest of our time was rushed and cut short. Staff did not apologise for anything.

Ce que nous avons aimé : rien! Rien ne correspondait avec ce qu'on nous a vendu! Attente d'une heure sous un soleil de plomb lors de l'embarquement dans le catamaran avec seule boisson reçue, une bouteille d'eau chaude! Snorkeling impossible vu que rien ne nous a été signalé qu'au-dela de 60 ans, nous ne pouvons plus y participer! Sur l'île, le buffet était a l'air libre sans couvercle! Les oiseaux venaient manger et déféquer dans la nourriture!!! Une vidéo sera postée sur TripAdvisor!!

The snorkelling wasn’t the best, as at the beginning a lady panicked within minutes of being in the sea. Made other people not want to carry on, everything else was amazing. On the island I bought 3 bottles of tequila, was told they were £120 each, i bought 3 as was told the 3rd was free. On checking my bank’s app I was charged £557 that’s over £300 that Ive lost due to trusting the locals absolutely disgusting.

While the majority of the day was really good and the food was really nice I do have to say the swim or snorkeling wasn't advisable for anyone other than experienced swimmers We thought it was going to be swimming close to the boat Bit infact it was around a 500m swim which wasn't advisable for anyone other than experienced swimmers Also the golf buggy drive was a bit on the short side Not great value for money But guides and others very friendly and helpful

The staff on board were fantastic, as were the waiting staff on the island. The boat was smaller than described and very cramped / overbooked and the bus to and the hotel was awful. It lacked air conditioning, it was too small, and the suspension was awful, making it an uncomfortable journey

There was no sun loungers and the snorkeling that was advertised didn't tell you the boat left you stranded. I wish I had never booked it. The ride over to the island, there was no where to sit, everyone was just sitting on the floor. I have bad hips so it was very difficult to get down and back up.

The boat was overloaded with standing room only in places, the golf cart tour was too short with no information given by the guide and the on the return from the carts it was 40 minutes killing time before getting back on the boat. Catering staff actually asking for tips !

The bus left 15 minutes late. We had to queue for over half an hour to get on the catamaran. The drinks supplied on the boat were not very good. At the first stop we were told to be back at 11.45am. We were back on the pier at 11.44am and the boat had already left meaning we had to get a taxi to the next stop. We arrived at the amazonas shortly before the boat did and had lunch which was ok. We then had to queue again for around 30 mins for a golf cart. Then had to queue again 20mins for a drink

We got up at 6 am showed up at Lobby for our pick up we were told 40 minutes running late so we decided we had enough time to grab a bite to eat we checked in 4 times making sure we were good the we were told after all that we were a no show.., we ten paid another $100 us for a r Taxi to the marina then sat for 2 hours for our bout which did not have the tui flag we then went out from dock 5 minutes for snorkeling which they yelled they entire time cording us like cattle to close together.

The lunch was poor and too busy. Food wasn’t replenished . We were told the price included a sun lounger but they were all reserved so we had nowhere to sit. The boat was excellent though the drinks were limited- ie only enough Prosecco for 1 glass each(6 of us) overall a really good experience , just disappointed with the beach club “free for all”

The trip as a whole was really good a couple of things were not so good there was a lack of seating at the lunch for the amount of people going for lunch at the same time. The transport back from the tour seemed a bit disorganised as waited about half hour before shuttle bus arrived to get back to hotel.

Absolutely appalling support from TUI. Transport at 6.30 arrived at 6.15 driver didn't speak English, no information just told to get in vehicle. Herded at the port when we finally got there like rabbits in headlights still no instruction or TUI representation. Lunch was a joke. Limited time on the island and definitely felt like cattle being herded. Waited 30 mins for transport back after every other coach had left. Shocking would not recommend totally mis-sold experience

We were cancelled twice for the excursion due to weather conditions. We had pointed out to Reps after the first cancellation that storms were forecasted which they disputed. Our second cancellation arrived 30 mins before the scheduled pickup! Two nights of our holiday wasted due to retiring to bed early. I think better communication would have prevented time wasted.

The experience was amazing, the crew were fabulous, friendly the island was lovely, we had a roam around the shops and then back to the catamaran to travel a bit further up the island where we had a lovely lunch, we didnt do the golf carts as we chilled on the beach instead.

The first stop for snorkelling was rushed and the boat moved away which wasn’t explained at booking. Second stop at shops was not necessary, would have been better to spend more time at the beach club and buggy drive. We thought the snorkeling was a real let down as we were informed that they would drop us off at one point and then had to swim back to the boat in a different place and we only had 25 mins which was not long enough for us the lunch was also disappointing because they run out of food and we felt we didn't have enough time on the golf buggies to enjoy the island properly overall we thought the trip was rushed and not enjoyabl

Over 60 year olds if fit and healthy should not be judged and able snorkel, I’m 65 fit and scuba dive and wasn’t allowed! More care needed for the buggy drive as we were unaware it was on the main roads plus our buggy had no steering or brakes, plus if you do the buggy you for go the swim not told it was one or the other. Otherwise great ??

This was an incredible day, the highlights are the snorkelling and the golf buggy tour. There is some time in between to explore the town and dip in the sea, although I do wish there was a little more time as the sea is beautiful. The food included was good and there is always drinks available. Our guide and the crew on the boat were also excellent. Only thing that could be improved is the check in as there is a lot of people arriving all at once and having to queue in the sun isn’t the best.

We were told the transfer from the hotel to the marina would be 1 hour and 30 minutes the actual journey was 2 hours and 40 minutes, I know there was an accident but we had been travelling 2 hours before the road got busy. We only got to spend about 45 minutes in down town Islas Mujeres in our opinion this was not ling enough. The food at the Beach Ckub was OK and we enjoyed the golf cart tour. Could not fault the staff on the Catamaran.The journey back took about 2 hours if not longer.

Staff and service were great, drinks readily available, boat was overcrowded with no seats, had to sit inside if you didn’t want to sit on the floor, the snoring was not an exclusive spot as advertised, it was a crowded area one minute from the port with multiple tour groups and boats, then the stop for shopping was ok but same shop every two feet, then the beach club for lunch was awful, buffet was outside and everything was left open so it was not only cold but the birds were getting to it

Isla Mujeres adults-only catamaran cruise with tour and lunch... Unfortunately this excursion was a waste of money for us on Manuel IV Luxury Catamaran. (Luxury...don't` think so.) Whole day was rush, snorkeling was awful, staff wasn't helpful. Not recommend!

Although it was rather hot , this was the best excursion we have been on during this holiday. The staff were extremely helpful kind and brilliant. I would definitely recommend this day out to anyone, it was amazing ?? everything about it was lovely ??.

The hosts on the catamaran were great fun and very hospitable. The golf buggy ride was fun and the views were stunning. The beach club was really nothing more than a small patch of beach with beds and some music playing which didn't add anything to the trip for me personally.

This was an 'exclusive trip' but it didn't feel exclusive! Bus driver- showed great skill when on his phone driving like he was late for the party. Definitely made sure we were seat belted in! Waited around a little at the dock but were offered orange juice and warned not to wear certain sun cream one snorkeling stop ,was good but a little underwhelming. you can consume quite a bit of alcohol and then be driving the golf buggy. The buffet was basic and nothing was labelled. Wouldn't recommend.

Goededag we zijn op donderdag op de excursie geweest De chauffeur die ons ophalen reed onverantwoord hard de mensen waren erg bang en blij dat ze op de plek van bestemming waren. In het snorkel gebied was weinig te zien, de folders geven een ander beeld aan . Het eten op het eiland was goed verzorgd. De plek was idilies.

Felt quite expensive for what we got. Prior to getting on the boat we were told we could only use the biodegradable suncream so we bought an extortionately priced small bottle - then staff on boat said no cream until after snorkel then fine to wear any. Great boat staff and boat trip. Snorkelling was only 20 mins which felt far too short - we loved this part and wish it could’ve been longer. Good food at club. Buggy tour was not as expected - slow and followed group but nice to see island.

We didn’t get what was sold. Rep told us no pick ups other than ours. We had 6. 1 hour journey in total. Going there 2-1/2 hours back was 3 hours. Transport was packed never experienced anything like it on a 4 star plus holiday. The boat was far too small for the amount of people. Smallest boat on the day. The whole day was rushed in very cramped conditions. Not happy at all. Never again and would not recommend it.

We enjoyed the whole experience as we were guided by a well presented and well spoken tour guide who kept us informed on every aspect of the trip. We didn't like when they called the names of the boats to load, the music was still playing so it was difficult to hear what they were saying.

Transferbus zu klein Katamaran (Quidam) für diese Art Ausflug vollkommen ungeeignet. Die offene Bar bestand aus Kühlboxen. Den ersten Stop im Ort auf Mujeres hätte man sich sparen können und dafür die Zeit im Beach Club verlängern können. Top: Mittagessen und Beach-Club

We were unable to snorkel due to our age, we were not advised of this prior to booking. Reps need to be making this clear when informing about trip as this is a key feature of the trip. We were not the only ones this applied to as there were others on board who were also in the same situation and had not been advised.

Aardige en enthousiaste reisleiding. Goed programma. Goede beach club met voldoende eten. Genoeg drinken aan boord. Alleen jammer dat de cola nauwelijks prik had. Trasnfer en check in op locatie was goed geregeld. Mooi om te zien dat er alles aan gedaan werd om de trip zo milieuvriendelijk te houden (zoals type zonnebrand crème).

It was very enjoyable overall, the snorkeling was good and safe with a guide, music and drinks were available throughout, a good golf ********** ride with photo opportunities with beautiful views plus dinner and a dj at the beach club. Would highly recommend and do again .

Boat was overcrowded.Not enough information when we got out of taxi to the boat no guide just had to follow people. The snorkeling was not a good experience felt unsafe in the water trying to keep up with everyone. The life jackets kept riding up above our heads.The best part was the buggy experience and wish we had more time on the island we're we had food as it was beautiful.

Great experience on the Catamaran and buggies round the island was also good fun. I felt the snorkelling was rushed and the waves were too big and current too strong to make this a safe activity on that day. Food at the island was also very good.

The entire experience was fab! Only negative was the snorkelling was not explained very well. It was snorkelling in open water, the boat moved further away as soon as we were in the water so we didn’t have an opportunity to get back on at our leisure- we weren’t told this. The guide kept shouting for the large group of us to stay together resulting in everyone on top of each other and kicking. High current/waves made it hard to see much. Would have been better to do in a more sheltered area.

Staff could not do enough. Excellent value for money. Drinks on board kept coming but snacks could be vastly improved especially if your meet time was before breakfast stats at your hotel. However food at the lunch stop was very very good with lots of choice and again drinks came very quick.

Amazing crew. Safety paramount but jolly atmosphere and other guests a happy convivial group. Lovely snorkeling before suncream - to protect environment. Then time on Isla Mujeres for lunch then a golf cart tour where 1 guest out of 4 drives around the island following the guide with a couple of stops. Finally free time on beach or for drinks. Not a long time at any activity but long enough and several great experiences. Hight recommended.

The whole thing was rushed. We had less time to spend on the island due to our transfer being late and no communication. The guide was rude about telling us that we couldn’t put on sun cream. It isn’t explained before you book that you can only snorkel in you’re a strong swimmer and we never even received the free photo you’re supposed to get. The only thing that was good was they did kept coming round asking if we wanted drinks. There were a lot of people on the boat and hardly any shade.

Felt very rushed. We only had 30 minutes in the north side of the island which after visiting 2 or 3 shops, the time was gone. The boat was very crowded, people sat in the floor if you were last on the boat. The golf buggy was very disappointing. Having to share a golf buggy and only getting a 4 or 5 minute drive wasn't what I expected. It should be made clear that you may have to share if numbers are too high. The one word I would say to describe this your is RUSHED.

The staff only interested if you like to have a drink and especially shots of tequila, we were the first to arrive but last to board - we waited approximately 90 minutes stood in the sun before getting on a catamaran. We were also promised no more then 10 passengers to get exceptional service, but we had about 30 passengers and limited space

Transport was 90mins late -no prior contact to inform us - therefore the whole excursion was rushed as we didn’t have time to enjoy what we should of transport driver to the boat was erratic and the return driver got us lost a passenger had to get route up on her phone to get us home - overall not a good experience

Excellent trip and guide and staff fantastic. So much to see and do. Do be careful in the shops though. No prices on show and get told one price but another at the till. Not Tui or tours fault. Place is beautiful.
