The organisation at the wine tasting was average and you got 1 mouthful of wine per bottle so 4 mouthfuls of wine in total, less than a quarter of a glass in total. What was stranger was that the TUI rep was giving the overviews of the wines, no criticism of her but she was just reading from a guide verbatim. The guide was really knowledgeable in relation to the island, not the wines and was desperately trying to sell a specific restaurant in Argostali. Cheaper than a taxi from Skala so good.

An very pleasant evening. The wine tasting was enjoyable and it was good to have an dinner and an evening in Argostoli. The guide was excellent and the only downside was that the number of pick-ups on the way from where we were staying in Skala, which meant the journey to the winery was long and slow.

The wine tasting. Same glass each personfor four different wines I don’t know how we we’re supposed to differentiate .. quite rushed and not what I was expecting. The wine tasting experience needs to be better it felt like the whole night was a glorified taxi to argostoli. Rep was great friendly and organised but I would not recommend.

A great trip. Just enough time at vineyard. Wines good quality and good price. A mini tour of capital with Diamond who was friendly and knowledgeable. More than enough time for a stroll and a meal and even a drink too before heading home. Highly recommend

I was told that my pick up was Katelios supermarket, I looked at the first one but it was called Epfermi not Katelios so I walked to the next one near the beach. I was there from 4.45 to 5.30. I wasn’t contacted and I wasn’t collected

Bus was 35 min early then got lost so 15 mins late. Wine tasting was literally 20 mins with 3 hours to the capital. Think it’s a bit over advertised on the wine tasting side

This was supposed to be a winery experience. We ended up at a Greek shop where everyone was literally hanging around for not even a mouthful of wine and not big enough for a coachload of people! We weren't told we were going to a shop until we arrived. I've never been to a winery so was particularly looking forward to this but very disappointed. Because of the shop visit we had over 3 hours of free time. There is not enough to do for 3 hours in Argostoli. Very disappointed

Guide (Diamond) was very informative and knowledgeable. We were disappointed the coach didn’t pick us up at the hotel as advertised but instead we had a 10 minute walk to the bus stop, also on the return when it was nearly midnight

Enjoyed the trip. Coach very cramped & hot & air conditioning not very effective but the trip was good & enabled us to see the Capital with ease & experience the Greek culture. Guide very knowledgeable. It was much longer than advertised suggested time 2 to 4 hours but we were out over 6 hours

Diamond, the guide was excellent and we had a lovely evening - even saw a turtle! My only observation is that the recommended restaurant, although pretty good did not accept credit card payment so be prepared to take enough cash. Payment could have been made at the supermarket next door.....but cash is preferred.

Our guide was a lady named Diamond. She was a superb guide and gave us a great, very informative commentary all the way to our destination. Wine tasting was good with nice quality wines. We had an experienced driver and the coach was in excellent condition. Had plenty of time to look around Argostoli without any rush. Overall, a very pleasant evening. We felt it was good value.

The tour was a good value way of getting to Argostoli from where we were staying in Skala. We really enjoyed the vineyard trip, although were disappointed we didn't have as much time as we thought we would in Argostoli from what our rep had advertised - it ended up being just under 2.5 hours instead of 3.5

The wine tasting was really enjoyable, the selection of wines is good and there is time to browse and buy a bottle at the end. The information provided by the guide throughout the tour was interesting and extensive. We were lucky enough to spot a couple of turtles at the harbour. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant recommended by the guide, but service was not great sadly. The music was enjoyable. You have to cross a very busy road to get to the toilets, which were not well maintained.

We chose this trip because the local bus into the capital was full, so the winery visit wasn’t of interest but it seemed well organised. Argostoli looked beautiful after dark but it was very loud and turned over to drinking and partying, not shopping, which was our goal. I definitely would have preferred to visit in the day but without a hire car this was impossible so… the tour was cheaper than a taxi.

This trip provided a good, inexpensive way of visiting the capital, compared to a taxi which would have cost double or a local bus service that operated mainly only at day. I really wish the winery part was removed as I’d rather an extra hour in Argostili. The staff at the winery were hopeless and did nothing with our group … it was left with our great TUI rep to do all their work, including opening and pouring the wine and doing the advertising chat. Cheaper than a taxi to the capital!

Had to change seats 3 times on coach to get a seat that wasn't broken. When we did find unbroken seats the seatbelts were unusuable - rusted through and parts missing. Unable to hear guide from mid to rear of coach (not her fault). Changed coach in Argostoli for the return trip which meant that everyone was unable to leave purchases made at the winery on the coach and had to carry bottles etc around town for 3 hrs before the journey back. At least the coach coming back was in good shape! :(

I get travel sickness and contacted TUI both through the app and via email to reserve seats at the front of the coach. I got no response from either. It said in booking that the bus was a 16 seater. When the coach arrived it was huge and only the back row available. I asked the rep on board about my reserved seats. She was very unhelpful so I spent the first 2 hours getting over my sickness and the next and final hour worrying about the journey back. The evening was ruined.

To be fair, the trip was not really for us. Nothing TUI did or didn’t do could have changed it. An hours travel to be dropped at a very average restaurant without being able to see the loggerhead turtles was very disappointing.

It was in reality a cost efficient way to get into Argostoli for an evening shopping / sarong. The wine tasting was ok, but not memorable. Some of the information on the bus was interesting and the short walking tour also interesting.

Well organised trip with the addition of wine tasting on the way. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the island. We were dropped off outside ‘the oldest Taverna’ in the Argostoli which was recommended as the best and cheapest fish on the island… it definitely wasn’t! Other than being in a perfect location to spot the turtles (which we did), the starters came out 15 minutes apart, mains 20 minutes apart and the food was very bland and under seasoned. Eat elsewhere and you will be fine!

This was a lovely trip to the capital. The guide was informative and knowledgeable. At the winery we only got tiny samples of wine but the explanation came from the guide not anyone in the winery. Limited shaded seating so many had to stand. At Argostoli our guide recommended a restaurant but it was the worst meal we had in Kefalonia. We did see the turtles though so that made it very special.

We had a fab evening in Argostoli but we were recommended by our TUI rep to eat in a particular sea food restaurant but it was the worst sea bass myself and my partner have ever eaten, would even go so far as to say it was disgusting. Talking to others on the trip they were of the same opinion. Spoilt the evening

Vineyard should have had more seating, half of the people were stood tasting their wine and were not allowed to sit on the seating to the right. The scenery at the vineyard did not meet expectation, I presumed we would have been overlooking crops and the vineyard. Argostoli was great - the time spent here should have been longer. The guide was informative although maybe a bit more beneficial if the tour/talking on the bus by the guide was perhaps recorded

Informative wine tasting session. Liked that you could choose your own restaurant in Argostoli rather than having a group booking at one designated eatery. Enough time to enjoy the atmosphere of the capital. Highlight of trip was being able to see the Loggerhead turtles up close!

Our guide was very knowledgeable as well as being pleasant. The main thing which spoilt the trip was the fact that the guide advised us all to eat at the Kefalatis restaurant, probably because they are on commission, but the food and service were absolutely dreadful. My husband ordered Greek fish soup and it was basically a few bits of boney fish and carrots swimming in oil and I ordered king prawns with spaghetti which was on the menu as being served with 7 prawns and I was given four. Very much enjoyed the trip to Argostoli and the opportunity to see the capital, and the views were fantastic! The wine tasting was also nice, even though we don't drink alcohol. It was still enjoyable, and we were still able to buy gifts for friends at home at a great price! The only thing we didn't particularly like was the tour guide, as we couldn't really hear her at times and missed some of the information, but other than that we really enjoyed the trip!

I know the location well, 4th year in a row. I had lateral flow from Tui. PL Forms here to stay? but return back to UK very straightforward.
I booked a trip. I was only one from my resort and they sorted taxis to get me to pick up point and back afterwards. Tui do all they can and do it well.

Excellent trip- the guide was very informative and made the trip more interesting.
The wine tasting at the vineyard was enjoyable but we would have preferred to have gone straight to Argostoli and spent more time there.
