Smuggler's Cove ist ein weißer Kieselstrand wie aus dem Bilderbuch, nur mit einer Besonderheit - dem Schiffswrack eines mutmaßlichen Schmugglers, der hier in den frühen 80er Jahren auf Grund lief. Auf dieser Halbtagestour werden Sie entlang der Küste fahren, um diesen berühmten Ort zu sehen, geheime Buchten zu entdecken, zu schwimmen und die Landschaft zu genießen. Kay, einer unserer ortskundigen Tourguides, sagt: "Smuggler's Cove ist auch als Shipwreck Beach oder "Navagio" auf Griechisch bekannt. Sie ist nur mit dem Boot zu erreichen und einer der meistfotografierten Orte in ganz Griechenland."Nach der Abholung genießen Sie die malerische Fahrt nach Porto Vromi - diese dauert bis zu 90 Minuten - und besteigen ein Boot zur Schmugglerbucht. Sie haben etwa eine halbe Stunde Zeit, um die Aussicht vom Deck aus zu genießen, bevor die imposanten weißen Klippen auftauchen, die die Bucht und ihr berühmtes Wrack schützen. Die 200 Meter hohen Klippen wölben sich hinter dem Strand und überragen das Schiffswrack um ein Vielfaches. A brilliant trip, with 2 amazing swim stops. The views are breathtaking. We were made aware of the choppy waters this side of the island so made sure to take travel tablets beforehand. If you get travel sick, I’d highly suggest a travel tablet.

This was an amazing experience from the journey to the boat we had a very experience guide who knew her stuff and gave us a detailed knowledge of the island. The boat trip was itself was great, we got to see so many beautiful scenery, along with all the blues of the rainbow we then stopped twice to swim. I would highly recommend this experience don’t think twice just book it you won’t regret. Thanks to TUI, the guide, the bus driver and captain of the boat would give you more than 10 stars.

Getting to the boat down a very steep ramp was quite difficult for me as I have a bad back , getting back up after the trip was a struggle too. I wasn't told were the life jackets were, there was no safety brief, there's no were to buy a drink etc on board you need to buy before you board. The boat did stop a couple of times so you could have a swim but you aren't allowed near the shipwreck due to falling rocks. The crew helped you on and off the boat, the caves were fantastic.

All great. Sylvia was wonderful. I have mobility issues and she was very kind. In that respect, more detail in trip description would have helped. Not just “unsuitable for those with limited mobility “ say Why. In this trip it’s the steep path. Very do-able so I needn’t have worried. Sylvia was outstanding in her kindness to me.

So firstly we needed more of an itinerary for the day - we had to change coaches, it was a long drive and we had no idea how long the actual boat trip would be. Our guide Angela was great. The actual boat trip was good though we stopped for a swim stop and then suddenly drove off without an explanation then stopped for another one that was too choppy and then went back to the harbour - there were a few grumblings - just needed to be told what was going on! So could have been much better!

The Smugglers cove cruise has been one of our favorite days out during our holiday. Laura, our guide, was absolutely fantastic to my partner and I. She made us feel safe and secure, as well as being very friendly and kind, and the crew of the ship as well as our coach driver were very kind and cool. I would recommend this to others. We did feel rushed between the boat and the coach but other than that it was amazing. Laura even took some pictures of us on our phones for us! Brilliant experience!

Trip was Excellent would recommend to anyone the only issue we had was we travelled on the transfer from Tsilvi it took one hour and a half hours each way on the bus for atrip that lasts two and a half hours this is too long in my opinion so wouldn`t do it again.

Couple of things that TUI missed. If you are staying in kalamaki you will get picked up by someone else then move to the TUI guided tour. Not impressed as not mentioned in the booking. another thing not mentioned is when you get to the port the bus does not go down the hill so you will have to walk back up and this is not suitable for anyone with asthma, hip, knee anything that stops you walking up hills. The guide will arrange for a car to take you back up. Quite a lot ££ for 2 hours on the sea

Such good quality for money, picked up from hotel- met us at our lobby on time, on the bus we were told facts, once there they got me a car to the bottom of the hill without me asking due to my reduced mobility which was amazing! We had stops before and after for toilets/ snacks, we sailed around for a tour and for pics then we had a few swim stops- with beautifully clear water- we got picked up at 7:45 (we were first on the bus), got on the boat at 9:45 and got back at 14:10 (last dropped)

This was my favourite day on holiday! Our tour guide (I think his name was Petros) was a delight. You can tell he’s extremely passionate about his job and extremely knowledgeable of everything. The swim stops were incredible and the scenes were great. Definitely recommend!

Great trip . Very informative TUI Rep. Petros . I’m not sure if that’s how it was spelt but know it translates to “Rock” . The staff onboard the boat were very friendly and helpful and offered to take pics . Petros explained about purchasing drinks and snacks before boarding the boat . I would recommend people take travel sickness pills beforehand as there were several people that were unwell or felt unwell especially those that sat on top deck . Great stops to swim and the scenery is amazing.

This was the a great trip and the highlight of our holiday. The cruise was smooth, and the two swimming stops were fantastic. Our (teenage) kids loves diving off the boat into the sea in beautiful surroundings. The shipwreck stop was close enough for some great photos and the turquoise water at the first swimming stop was amazing!

The boat was very small with limited facilities. You really don't get very good views of the ship wreck, even though you do get close. Worth noting that even on a beautiful day, the sea was very rough and loads of people were ill. Be careful if you aren't a good sailor. The swim spots were definitely the best bit!

Sylvia our Tui guide was excellent. Our coach driver - very skilled (narrow roads and some idiotic other drivers and tourists on mopeds! Great views and crystal clear waters on swimming stops, skilled boat skipper maneuvering into caves so all passengers got great views. The only draw back was an incredibly early start 6:45am although we saw an amazing sunrise.

The scenary is beautiful, found out many interesting facts, I didn t like the stops for swimming, my husband felt very sick, I think would be useful to have an option- trip without Swimming. We had a rocky start as the transport turned up 30min late to pick us up and we were unsure as to what was happening. When on the bus we had to swap to another bus 20min into the journey on the second bus was a tui rep she explained about the trip in detail and said we would be back at our hotel by 2pm we were told this was a full day strip this was not the case which was disappointing. While on the trip the boat was very crowded and we only spent 10min looking at the ship wreck which was ashame

My partner and I loved this experience. Petros was a fantastic guide, he had so many funny stories and interesting facts which kept us entertained on the drive and the boat. The boat ride itself was beautiful, we loved the two swim spots and the boat staff were very happy taking pictures of us in the sea. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The tour guide left me and my friend on the coach ASLEEP. Did not do a head count or wake us up, we woke up locked on the coach alone and had to hit some random emergency button and run frantically down a hill and ask some people to take us out to the ocean with the rest of our group

We thought that our guide carol was excellent. She was very informative and knowledgeable and she also spent time to engage with everyone. The boat was fantastic and the crew were very experienced. They managed to get us into some very tight caves and they stopped at 2 superb swimming stops. The only downside was that at the time of booking, we were not told that navagio beach was inaccessible, nor were we allowed on the viewpoint that you use as the picture to advertise this experience.

The experience overall was amazing and the views were breathtaking I would 100% recommend. However, the only negative was I feel like the boat was a little too full and I love to take pictures for memories but since the boat was so full I was sat in the middle so I couldn’t actually get great pictures without having parts of the boat in the pictures and trying to avoid getting others in them. The boat does stop for picture opportunities but there’s other great picture opportunities on the way.

A trip to smugglers cove, what I didn't know was that the ship is only 40 years old, covered in grafitti and really not worth the journey. However my disappointment was tempered by the glorious photo opportunities on the return boat ride. I have no doubt that the tui rep is well versed in history etc but all I could hear was mumbling. I must commend the two men in charge of the boat, incredible

After a recent earthquake the cove had been closed and our rep kept us informed on every detail about the trip. Luckily we were able to get off the boat and see the shipwreck. This is a must when visiting Zante. The waters are unreal and the sights are beautiful.

The experience when at the venue was excellent along with the commentary and organisation from the guide. However what turned out to be a 2 hour excursion also included over 3 1/2 hours travelling on the bus and could have done with another stop while travelling across the island to break up the journey.

Wycieczka dla osób chcacych szybko „zaliczyc” zatoke wraku. Z hotelu Blue caravel godzina autokarem, pózniej 20min lodzia do zatoki, postój 45min czas na robienie zdjec i kapiel, nastepnie powrót z przystankiem na kapiel, skakanie z Lodzi i kolejna godzina w autokarze. Czas fajny, dla osób które nie lubia sie rozdrabniac jak najbardziej na tak. Jesli ktos oczekuje spedzic wiecej czasu na Lodzi, mniej w autokarze to nie polecam.

The duration shown when booking was 2-4hours- this was not the case as there was two hours on the bus there and a further two on the way back as we had to drop everyone off of at various hotels in the reverse order picked up. The boat ride was only 30mins each way and we had less than an hour at the main beach/ship wreck itself which was not long enough to look round and relax. Had we realised how much wasted time there would be on the excursion we would have booked this privately instead.

Chris, the rep, was great . Extremely enthusiastic. The descent from the boat at shipwreck cove is a little hairy. Maybe not good for those less mobile or with youngsters. Overall a good trip

Our tui rep was friendly for the second we stepped on the bus until the second we left. She was upbeat and kept us informed of what we were doing and what was happening. She was also very knowledgable and included facts about more than just the tour.

The day was good the boat was very busy though it would of been nice to have less people on the boat, once we got off at the cove it was so packed out ! Hardly see the sand it was that busy. The website info should mention taking beach shoes or swim shoes. The beach is suitable for bare feet. We had a good day the water is unreal. Busy boat I would prefer to rent a boat next time

Our tour guide Chris was very informative and really made the trip enjoyable for all. Smuggler’s cove was a brilliant experience and is amazing to see in real life than on photos on the internet. The views from the coach as you travel down to port are stunning as well as stunning views from the boat on the way to the shipwreck. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The coach journey through the mountains to the harbour was relaxed and scenic. Our TUI guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our driver was excellent! The boat crew were friendly and professional too. We had 45 minutes on Shipwreck Island, which was enough time as it did get busy. It’s well worth a visit though, just to experience the blue waters and shipwreck! We also had a couple of swim stops and visited a cave or two, which we really enjoyed. The scenery is magical!

It should be suggest to buy- use sea shoes- the beach was very tough on the feet. It wasn’t easy getting out of the sea as you sank in the little pebbles, which again killed your feet. It will up of been nicer to have had more time at the cove.

We are English, and was booked on the Dutch tour, so we didn’t know what was going on and could not understand the rep when he was talking on the coach. Thankfully Roy was a brilliant rep and he sat with us on the boat and then explained everything to us. He definitely saved the day for us. He was brilliant, however he was just as confused as us as to why we were put on the Dutch tour and not told about it in advance.

The boat trip was good overall, the transfers not so much. We waited about 25 mins to meet another bus to take us to the port which made the coach journey on the way there over 2 hours, a long time on a small island. The guide was good though and the boat crew great, made up for the poor journey there.

The trip overall was well organised and did what it said on the tin, the best part for me was on the way back our boat actually dropped anchor in a cove and let us jump in from the boat and have a swim.

Was told this was a half a day trip 2-4 hours so assumed this would be 5 hours max but were picked up at 7.20 and didn’t get to the port till half 9 after collecting others and changing buses… the boat trip itself was nice can’t fault the time out on boat and at beach but the main issue was the return trip not sure if it was human error but the second coach wasn’t there to pick up half the people so we had go with the rest of the group to there parts of the island so we became further away and then was dropped at side of the Road to wait for the coach and by the time we got back to the hotel it was 3pm which in my opinion Isn’t a half day trip and had we known this would’ve choose a local company where there isn’t as many pick ups
