Was zu erwarten ist
Kufstein liegt im Alpenvorland am Inn. Sie haben Zeit, die charaktervolle Altstadt mit ihren gut erhaltenen historischen Gebäuden zu erkunden, die von der Festung Kufstein überragt wird, die auf einem Hügel über der Stadt thront. Als Nächstes besuchen wir den Thiersee, an dessen grasbewachsenen Ufern sich Holzhütten befinden, die in das smaragdgrüne, von Bergbächen gespeiste Wasser münden. Die letzte Station ist Rattenberg, ein hübsches mittelalterliches Dorf, das sich im Laufe der Jahrhunderte kaum verändert hat.

Poor
Well in the first instance it would be good if you had informed me that the experience had been cancelled. I waited over an hour to be picked up at the designated spot and no one picked us up or even informed us that the trip had been cancelled. This is totally unacceptable. A complete waste of my day. Please refund the money and inform me of why this happened and what you are going to do about it. I am extremely unhappy with TUI‘s organisation and commitment to loyal customers.

The trip was exceptional. All places we stopped were beautiful and an appropriate amount of time was spent at each stop. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

We took the excursion because we had never been to this country before but having talked to people in our hotel we found out that what we paid 40 euros for each was a 10 minute train ride away and it would have been cheaper and easier to go to the place on our own. Part of the experience was walking around a lake in our opinion this wasted an hour of our time, time we could have spent looking at more interesting sites in Rattenburg.

Nice to get off the beaten track and see Austria for real. The lake was a stunning stop. Would have been nice to spend more time there but appreciate that may not be possible.

What an amazing tour and we would definitely recommend. The guide was knowledgeable and we spent the right amount of time in each place. Our favourite stop was the breathtaking lake which was surrounded by mountains. It was absolutely beautiful and made perfect Austrian memories. You can walk around the lake as well. You would never manage to visit these places via public transport.

Beautiful trip, loved Lake Thiersee, so picturesque and peaceful. Rattenburg was pretty and enjoyed the glass blowing. Kuffstein was pretty and enjoyed food and shopping there.
