Giethoorn day trip from Amsterdam

Passing through the typical Dutch landscape you’ll drive in about one hour and a half to the Dutch Venice, Giethoorn. In this picturesque town you’ll find out how the Dutch people can live with the water and surrounded by canals. In Giethoorn cars are not allowed and little has changed in the city over the centuries. You will enjoy this wonderfully preserved town walking and by boat. There are many types of boats that are used for transport on the canals, gondolas, punters and flatbottom boats for example.
