Enjoyed the whole trip. The dive guide was very good. He was very helpful to my wife throughout the whole tour. He also ensured everybody was safe all the time when we were snorkeling. Saw plenty of different fish and a couple of turtles.The fast boat ride at the end was a bonus.

Wouldn’t suggest going if your not a confident swimmer as getting to the boat can be tricky due to the water conditions which seem to be the norm here

This was the second time we have taken this trip and it was a very enjoyable trip. The weather was cooler than last time so we were provided with a wet suit which was needed. The sea was choppy and saw lots of fish but was not so clear due to waves. As sea was choppy lots of water getting into mouth tube - but this was not anything to do with Atlantic Star. Still a good trip and enjoyed it.

Really liked the friendly staff and informality of the trip. The guide was knowledgeable and always had safety in mind. I think a better description of the trip would be beneficial as you have to be a reasonably good swimmer and quite fit to enjoy it.

I went with my husband, not to snorkel but to go on the boat. When we arrived the manager told me that it would be very bumpy in the sea conditions and said if I wanted, I could stay at the dive centre or they'd take me back to the hotel. They also would refund my part of the booking. So, I stayed at the centre where I was made to feel very welcome, given a bottle of water, advised that they had sent the refund request to Tui and even gave their WiFi code to use. A great day had by both of us.

It all felt very rushed and there wasn’t any explanation of what would happen or training on how to use a snorkel or fins. We did see some lovely fish and turtles too but needed more guidance and some understanding of how choppy the sea would be meaning it would be fairly difficult to get to the boat and we swallowed alot of water not knowing how to dispel water from the snorkel.

We got to see alot of Sal island on this trip and had lots of fun off road. With two of us on one quad bike, it was very good value for money.

Great
Great to see three turtles and so many colourful fish. The briefing was hard to follow due to language issues. Anybody with slight mobility problems would find it very difficult getting onto the zodiac boats while in the water. We were all able bodied but found it very awkward. This was not previously mentioned at the time of booking.

The whole experience was excellent! The guides were so helpful and professional. We especially liked seeing the turtles so close to us and all the different fish. We would definitely recommend this trip and we will do it again when we return to Sal.

We were a bit worried as we had read a review saying that the sea was quite choppy in November but we need not to have worried as we were totally looked after by Carlos from start to finish. We saw 4 turtles, a massive puffer fish and plenty of other marine life especially around the ship wreck. The 40mins spent in the water went far too quickly and we would thoroughly recommend this trip. It's a pity that the Reps onsite do not promote this trip at all-we only found out about it via the tui app

We did this as a family of 4. We all really enjoyed it and none of us had done snorkelling before. We saw lots of fish, two turtles and a ship wreck. Just long enough if you have not done this before and would recommend.

Overall a great trip where we got to see a few green turtles and even saw a green turtle surface for air and dive back down in the ocean! the start feels a bit hectic whilst everyone is trying to get on the boat and then we jump off and make our way around the shop wreck.

Great experience, guides were really good, water incredibly clear and we saw lots of different fish and a turtle! My son absolutely loved it! Beware if you suffer from motion sickness however as you’re up and down a lot in the water - not something I’d thought about and next time I’d take a travel sickness tablet first.

Staff really knowledgeable, felt safe. I had a fear of deep sea the boat driver reassured me and helped me in to the water, after that I felt completely safe, we saw 3 turtles and nurse shark and ship wreck amazing experience would definitely recommend

My boyfriend and I booked this last minute, so glad we did, best excursion we done. I’m not a strong swimmer but I was absolutely fine. Staff were friendly. We saw so many fish, a shipwreck and even 2 turtles. So magical seeing everything underwater, this was our first time snorkelling. Great value for money, made memories for a lifetime.
