Bizar slecht je word gewoon voor gelogen , als je op saona komt ligt het vol zeewier , als vaste klant zit ik toch te bedenken om naar een andere rei organisatie over te stappen , €157 pp met 5 personen om je te schamen dit aan te bieden als mooi eiland

private....beach, there was not enough room for the people on our boat to eat together because of people from other boats, stopped at the natural pool in the sea but my wife could not leave the boat because it was too deep as he moored the boat out to far, if you don't like rum there's only coke tot drink. food was sub-standard. we had a better day last year here buying it from a beach vendor and it wascheaper.. Tui need to really ********** what they are selling as a better experience.

Sabrina - catamaran was an excellent service, captain was engaging, food was snack and drinks, presented and well stocked. Great time! Unfortunately as we arrived at the island the rain started and never stopped, we sheltered with lunch in the huts, but we became the lunch for the mosquitoes!!! The island its self is well maintained and very pretty. But advertised as secluded part of the island. This was not as there was another 4 groups there at that part of the island at the time…!!

The excursion was postponed until tomorrow due to tropical disorder. I have been trying to find out whether it will take place then due to the amount of seaweed on the beaches and in the sea but still no phone call from the nice guy I spoke to at lunchtime……

leuke tocht met speed catamaran en terug zeil catamaran. stop met fruit en drank in het water bij zandbank met zeesterren en roggen. eiland mooi maar wel echt toeristisch . op catamaran zeilschip genoeg drank (rum cola) maar te weinig water voor de niet alcoholische liefhebbers. eten voldoende.

Wij vonden de reisleider ( Castro ) erg plezierig, grappig en voorzag ons van goede en nuttige informatie, met een grappige invalshoek, ook de bemanning van de diverse boten waren zeer goed in hun service en de bemanning van de catamaran was ook nog eens heel leuk entertainend , hiervoor geven wij dus de gehele reisleiding een dikke 10 chapeau .dit mag echt verder verteld worden, ook mag dit wel worden teruggekoppeld worden naar de jongens.

Alles was zeer goed geregeld, van het ophalen tot het terugbrengen naar het hotel! Tijdens de excursie meer dan genoeg eten en drinken! Dominicaanse ontbijt( Rum en Cola??) Bbq op het strand van Saona ook heel netjes! Echte aanrader, voor ons zeer geslaagd??

Sold as a catermaran trip, all inclusive. Sea taxi to the island and return was catermaran only. Lunch was served raw chicken. Only drink was rum. Very poor for Tui experience. Would not recommend it. Star rating 0 ??

The guide was rude and had little to no interaction with the guests, almost like he did not want to be there. Boats were overcrowded and unsafe, the catamaran toilet was unhygienic and unsafe with no seats for elderly or disabled passengers, no value for money. Concerns that tour guide allowed another tout with passengers that were not Tui customers and cash wash exchanged .. this is advertised as luxery it was not

Trip was sold as first class experience it was not.the guide was not interested and his attitude was rude.another person boarded our bus nearer the port to pick up people from another hotel and proceeded to take card payment from them, they were not given I'd ribbon as we were and also not given wrist band to board the catamaran, the catamaran was not fit for purpose, no seating available and people sitting on the floor, and toilet facilities not very accessible and no privacy door on ,

Absolutely loved every minute of it. The speed boat team and the catamaran team were amazing. Johnny our guide was great too. Telling us about the journey and island and history. We learned a lot from him. Beautiful beach food on the beach was ok. Not great but did what we needed. Overall a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to everyone.

The speed boat was over crowded to the point of not being safe. The courier picked up extra passengers en route and was paid as they boarded. I suspect the TUI bookings left space that they filled with non TUI passengers, they may have been locals. The stop at the sandbanks was difficult to get off as the steps were to short The food was mediocre at best and not refrigerated. No safety briefings on the boats and the catamaran ride back had a 4 year old child running about with no life jacket.

Staff on board both boats were fine. Bambi was confident, competent and engaged. Staff at lunch less so. Limp sandwiches on board were not really 'supreme' standard. It might be useful to advise customers to take shoes for use in the water as there are a lot of sharp rocks, rough edges when strolling out to sea. The place was beautiful. The loungers could have been a better quality rather than just hard plastic,

We enjoyed it start to finish, all staff involved were amazing, we were kept informed all the way along about what we were doing. Lots of toilet stop, plenty of food. Lovely food and drinks. Our tour guide Bamby was so lovely he really looked after us. A young woman was taken ill on the first stop. He was amazing and informative. Fortunately she was fine and managed to do the rest of the trip. He was so caring and supportive. Also the local police were really good too. On it straight away.

A very long day for 3 hours on a packed beech. Sandwiches on the catermeran over to Saona were horrible but drink of rum & coke was plentiful. Staff on the catermeran were great. Staff on the island were friendly and great food but too many visitors at one time. On the way back we gad a speedboat and they ensured we all wore life jackets and then stopped at some shallow waters where starfish swam. Drinks provided to swimmers only. Out for 12 hours in total, don't feel it was value for the price.

Wonderful experience, beautiful Island and great staff, Mama Pollijto was warm, friendly and extremely informative, Catamaran trip back was excellent. Only downside was the bus journey as seats were quite narrow so a little uncomfortable but that did not distract from the best day.

Deze uitstap was gewoonweg fantastisch! Hele leuke begeleiders aan wie je alles kon vragen. Op de catamaran kregen we drankjes en eten en werd er constant muziek gespeeld. Voor de catamarantocht mochten we snorkelen, wat ik top vond, enkel jammer dat dit maar een halfuurtje was. Voor de rest kregen we op Saona island ook eten en drinken, en kregen we 3 uur de tijd om te zwemmen, zonnen, foto's te trekken, etc. Hele grote aanrader!!!!

After an hour on the island, the drinks were warm. Beer ran out. No cold drinking water available, only warm drinks. No ice available for our drinks. We were sold this trip as ‘all inclusive drinks’ - which we did not get. Food was very good. Not being able to get cold drinking water is unacceptable

The staff on the boats were very good, serving snacks & drinks. On the island the food was good. Drinks were all good for the first hour. Then drinks were being served warm. No ice was offered to us for our drinks. 3 hours on a tropical island without being able to get cold drinking water is unacceptable, especially as it was sold to us as an ‘all inclusive’ drinks package

The trip was good,was a very long day 12hrs food and drink provided was good overall a great day had. My only issue was the cost several people from my hotel went and we were all charged differant amounts I was not told how much I was paying until after payment was taken and I checked my account and it was £67 more than was advertised some people were charged another £60 on top again £260 for a day trip was very expensive and this stopped us booking any other trips

The food could a little better. Plus providing bottled water not just a small cup. The boat ride was excellent as was the snorkelling. Perhaps a snorkelling stop on the way back wouldn't go a miss.

We opted for the enhanced Soana Island trip, which included the "private" beach and the return catamaran. Our guide "Obama" was very engaging and worked hard all trip to ensure all guests had a good experience. He was entertaining, had great local knowledge. You need decent mobility to complete the boat transfers. We brought a change of clothes which weren't needed. Be warned - Prices vary. The App has different prices to the Rep on site

Guide konnte nur ganz schlechtes Deutsch, haben etwas Anderes erwartet, trotzdem hat er sich bemüht. Wir haben vor 20 Jahren gleiche Tour gemacht, war da besser. Vom Privatstrand haben wir auch etwas Besseres erhofft, erst mussten wir lange auf das Mittagessen warten und am Ende war es doch eine Massenabfertigung. Highlight war das Schnorcheln und der Stopp auf der Sandbank. Die Fahrt mit dem Katamaran war in Ordnung, mit dem Schnellboot ist es gewöhnungsbedürftig ständig Wasser von der Seite.

It was a great day. It takes a few hours to get to the island, but it's worth it. Your in paradise for about 3 hours, you get a nice bbq lunch ,then off you go to another place where you'll see starfish. The boat guy gets in the sea with you and serves drinks. All in all good value for money and a big thank you to the staff that looked after us.

Voor 2e x deze excursie gemaakt ( reeds 12 jaar eerder ) en eintoch iets verandert. De speedboot was nog hetzelfde als ik de terugtocht met de catamaran en het feestje er op echter was er vroeger een tochtvrije een natuurgebied per boot wat nu, vanwege de drukte en de noodzakelijke rust in het gebied Net meer gedaan werd volgens de gids . Bemanningen van beide schepen waren goed en professioneel en waar nodig werden er de juiste menten gekozen voor ontspanning en informatie en interactie.

I have paid £248 for an excursion that never happened. We are 2 adults and 1 child, and in the morning of 30.06.2025 when the excursion was booked, I arrived at the hotel reception earlier to wait for bus collection. We were told to wait outside hotel receotion entrance, but bus collected people from Security gate down at the barrier hotel.I have called customer service at TUI, where I spoke with a very rude person that didnt help but shout at me.I will never ever purchase any excursions viaTUI

Food on boat was awful. Only cheese and ham sandwiches which were slimey to say the least so did not eat. They had obviously been prepared hours before and not kept cool. Cheese and pineapple/meat offered and was very warm too. Boat ran out of sprite and no water. A few drunks on board and children hanging off side of no boat with no sign of parents. The pork meat offered on Soana Island was extremely fatty and we were rushed to finish lunch. Toilets were awful.

We really enjoyed the island, it's really picturesque, it's just a shame we only had a couple of hours on it. If TUI had put it in the write up that there's a 2 hour coach ride either way, and we'd only get 2 hours on the island, we wouldn't of booked this excursion.

Unter exklusiv verstehe ich was anderes, kleine Gruppe stimmt, aber auf Saona kein privat Strand, etwa 100m war unser Bereich dann waren noch 5 andere Gruppen dort, mit denen wir den 1km Strand teilen, es war trotzdem ruhig in unserem Bereich und man konnte die Zeit auf der Insel genießen, im Naturpool hätte man etwas abseits von den anderen Schiffen ankern können, vom Tour Guide hatte man das Gefühl er hat kein Bock, leierte seine pflicht Sätze runter und fertig, war immer im Hintergrund,

A very long uncomfortable travel day not suitable for anyone with back problems which was never mentioned at point of sale. Nearly 15 hour day from getting up to getting back to the hotel. Very scenic on the boats during the trip, promised no seaweed on this side of the island which wasn't true. Food at lunchtime was just about ok and sitting for 3 hours on a beach again OK. Most entertaining was Danny our host who made an OK day for £135 each fun.

The visit was not as described, we had less time on the beach by a significant amount. We were told it was an exclusive beach but there were at least 4 different parties and we were placed at the end and had to organise our sun beds ourselves. The yacht was also quite small compared to the others at the island and did not appear to be of the same standard. On our return which was by speed boat there was also a shortage of life jackets. We have also explained this to the Representative Anna.

Der Tauchgang gleich am Hafen war lächerlich. Das kann man nicht schnorchelstopp nennen. Der 2 te Stopp auf der Sandbank war sehr schön. Die Insel Saona war soweit ok, das Essen war schlecht und nicht ausreichend. Wir waren die letzten am Buffett und es wurde nichts mehr nachgelegt

The catamaran on the way back, there were no seats available, it was so hot and sunny and was no shade, had to sit on the ground for 2 hours. The snacks available on the catamaran and speed boat was just cheese and ham sandwiches and nachos.

The trip was fantastic. Easy pick up and drop off at our hotel and the coslach was of a high quality. The boat staff on the catamaran and speed boat were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Only negative was our actual guide, he seemed distracted and disinterested in the trip. He gave minimal information and didn't seem like he really knew what was happening.

The all day Soana island experience had the right balance, to make up for the long journeys: comfortable air conditioned coach and entertaining boat trips on both the motor boat and catamaran with friendly staff, informative guide Bambi, drink, snacks and music. Our 3 hours spent on Soana island had the right balance of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, swim in the clear waters and a lunch that was enjoyable too. Larry & I would do this excursion again, and would thoroughly recommend it.

Wir fanden es schade das es so kurz war auf der Insel. Wir hetten gedacht das man mehr Zeit dort verbringen kann. Das Essen war sehr gut aber die zeit viel zu kurz wen mann dan auch noch mittagessen bekommt. Hete die Insel gerne länger besucht. Das Meer war so toll.

Loved the trip to Saona. Our team leader Castro was absolutely brilliant! He was informative and very witty. The guides in boat were helpful. We were plied with snacks and plentiful drinks all day. Food on Island was brilliant The boat operators were kind helpful. Nothing too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this trip. Such a beautiful island to visit.

Jonny the guide was amazing, made everyone feel welcome and involved everyone from start to finish. All the boat crews were brilliant engaging with all the customers. Walked off the boat at the end of the day full of rum! Only thing i would say that needs improvement is the food supplied but overall defiantly worth the money and would recommend anyone to go on the trip!

Star fish stop was most enjoyable with rum and coke and fruit kebabs in the ocean. The smell was pretty bad on saona beach of seaweed. The music was extremely loud on catamaran on way back. But day was very enjoyable. Would of liked to have seen more fish when snorkelling

Absolutely terrible, not worth the money, speed boats you got on were very uncomfortable, they came around with food , sandwiches were disgusting, the boat crew drank while driving the boat, the island they took us to was ok again the food was terrible, then the catamaran was shocking it was over crowded we sat on the floor with 2 kids all the way back, again the crew while drinking while driving the boat, Absolutely disappointed would definitely not recommend it ??

We didn’t like the service at Manchester airport. We paid for premium and still ended up in the normal waiting line for security as we had a pram. This slowed the morning down and ruined the initial experience for paying the extra. Everything else was amazing.

We went to the pickup point at the specified time of 6-45 am having sacrificed a night’s entertainment so as to get up at 5-45. We sat there waiting until 8am with other expecting guests. After contacting tui through the app we found out it had been cancelled. No communication from yourselves to us.

The whole trip was amazing our guide was very thorough instructions and safe was very clear, all staff from the guide to the boat staff were excellent. My only down side was the travelling time was long.

An amazing day from start to finish. The tour guide was superb, Roberto looked after us and was very informative on the coach. Although it was a long ride it didn’t feel like it at all as he made it fun. The catamaran was amazing and the staff on the boat brought lots of drinks and breakfast snacks. We snorkel and then swam in the blue lagoon. We then arrived at the beach which was paradise. Crystal clear water., egg timer sand. We had an amazing lunch and more rum. We had an amazing day out.

Great guides and the location and beaches were amazing, a bit expensive but overall the excursion was amazing. Having spoken to other guests that went with local offers to the island our trip was much better organised

I am not really a person that leaves reviews. This trip however was absolutely fantastic. The team were friendly, attentive and entertaining. The format of the day was superb. Aside from the inevitable coach journey from Punta Cana to Bayahibe, it was mind blowing. The trip to the island was on a speedboat.. Stopping for snorkeling then refreshments at a sandbank. The island itself is stunning. We spent a few hours just chilling. The return by catamaran was fantastic too. No hesitation, book it.

Die Hinreise mit Schnorcheln und Baden war bestens organisiert. Auch die Rückreise mit dem Katamaran war sehr gut. Etwas lange (1.5 Stunden) nach diesem sonnenreichen Tag, aber gut. Zu TUI selbst. Der Reiseleiter war schlecht. Kommunikation und Erklärungen waren keine vorhanden. Auf der Insel mit „Privatstrand“ ein Massenauflauf. Die Internet-Katalogbilder stimmen nicht mit der Wahrheit überein. Getränke ohne Alkohol mussten gesucht und erbettelt werden. Essen war so so - la la.
