What to expect
On Paris’s Right Bank in the area of Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries Gardens and the Madeleine Church, you’ll be invited inside a selection of Paris’s most celebrated master chocolatiers for some serious chocolate tasting. Explore the old cobbled streets, winding throughout this glamorous district known for luxury fashion and gastronomy. Your guide will fill you in on the history, culture, and lifestyle of the neighborhood as you visit and sample unique and delicious chocolates. You might think that you know chocolate, but Paris takes things to the next level. Each chocolatier has their own creative style and signature. You’ll discover the traditional and the classical, the innovative and trend-setting, the old-fashioned artisan chocolate shop, and the “designer” shop who sees making chocolate as an art experience. Your palate will be introduced to new taste sensations – not only just chocolate, but a new myriad of flavors. You’ll learn the history of chocolate and the cocoa bean in France and discover what makes each chocolate creator so special and so different.
