The whole point of it was to go up the volcano, by the time we got there and got on the cable car there was only 40 mins at the top, barely enough time to do one of the walks available up there. Had we not stopped pointlessly for coffee on the way up and back down we could have had an extra 30 - 40 mins at the top and or more time at the second stop. Our guide was very monotone which made listening hard you couldn't tell when she changed from one language to another. I wouldn't recommend.

Alexis was really organised and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be through the day. He took the time to speak to people on the tour which was lovely.

Would have been good to have been advised about downloading the App before leaving hotel as it’s a very large audio file that wouldn’t download whilst on the bus & some people might not have sufficient data to be able to try. As it was, the cable car was cancelled due to weather. I’ve had notification of refund but others havent

Mount Teide and national park was wonderful and with the great weather we had it was a fantastic experience.. However it should be made clear that if you are staying in el Medano you will spend 4.5 hours just travelling in the coach and be first picked up and last dropped off which is really excessive! Also mini bus appeared poorly maintained and awful smell of petrol/burning rubber which we told them about twice

Tour was excellent, guide was very informative and helpful. Told us the history as well as the facts of the volcano. Cable car ride was great too but it was so cold at the top of the volcano and I wish I had brought more warm clothes. All in all a fantastic experience that I would recommend and do again

The guide was great. The stop off points were good although a little rushed at the beginning. The cable car station stop wasn't well organsied. We were told we could go up for an hour and then there would be half an hour at the bottom before the coach would leave. However, as the group was large we didn't get into the cable car until the third round and so we were almost half an hour behind the first group and felt rushed at the top as we were afraid the coach would leave without us.

This is definitely worth to visit and we're happy we had this tour with TUI. The only bad thing is timing allowed on the peak itself - we were dropped from the bus, waiting in the queue 20mins to the cable car and after that we only had 30mins on the upper station due to our guide/bus driver timings. It wasn't enough. So if you plan to hike to the peak of Teide from upper station, you better don't use this excursion due to time restrictions and organize own transport. All the rest was excellent!

Lovely tour! Really worth visiting and taking the gondola to the top. Nice walks with good views from both routes - south and north. If to choose only one would take the north route. Nice view points also at the bottom of the volcano and other eruption points. Really educational and interesting for volcano active areas and eruptions.

Such a great trip, I was a solo traveller and felt comfortable throughout. Our guide was friendly and informative. I shared the trip with British and Italian travellers and the guide was balanced and super clear in both languages. The cable car is an experience I will remember for ever. The stops were just long enough, no unnecessary hanging around but time enough to take in the views, look around the shops and grab a coffee and a comfort break. Great day!

Sadly, we couldn't go up on the cable cart due to the wind but a refund has been actioned (had to complere a form through TUI). As a consequence, we visited other areas of the National Park and learned a lot of info. Ari was an amazing guide translating into multiple languages to accommodate those on the tour. She did an excellent job of using short sentences in each language (Spanish, German, English) to keep it interesting for those on board the bus.

Amazing day, guide was so knowledgeable about the whole area. Get a few little breaks on the bus up, then the volcano it's self breathtaking the whole landscape and history of it. Go 200m from the summit but can go to the top if you get a permit

Loved the day.
Would have appreciated a bit more time at the top. Perhaps 15 minutes. Bit of a rush to get to the viewing point and back to the cable car back down. Timing of the cars hadn’t worked for our group.

I initially thought the cost of the trip for me and my son was a bit expensive at just over £100 BUT it is a trip of a lifetime and when you do a bit of research and remember the distance travelled and the guide on the way up there it is worth every penny and more. Highly recommend visiting Teide. We had a very pleasant trip with our guide Maria who made the trip very interesting. We had plenty of comfort breaks. We had free time of around 1 hr at the top of cable car to explore which was enought to walk around and take photos. We also stopped at the cable car cafe for a quick coffee. To improve the trip I would add 30min to overal time at Teide, to allow 1 hr at the top and 1 hr at the cafe for lunch, which has great views and nice selection of foods.

it's an incredible place, with the stunning natural beauty being so different to sea level. The trip up the cable car to near the top made it very special. We were lucky; the week before, the cable car was not operational at all due to high winds. We didn't get long enough at the cafe stop on the way and we didn't see why we couldn't stop for lunch at a restaurant on the plateau. We were back the hotel by 3pm and were very hungry and thirsty by then; back 1 hour later would not have hurt anyone?

Unfortunately the cable car was not running on the day of the tour, and whilst we were refunded this part of the cost this had been the main reason for choosing this tour so we were extremely disappointed . The view's where we did go are well worth seeing and we were able to walk around the lower slopes of Teide National park.

I didn’t like getting up early in the morning to get our coach, of course, it all depends on what hotel you are staying at - ours was the first pick up so coach pickup was 7am! Our guide all the way through the trip was telling us about the flora and fauna and volcano area. The cable car was well organised only had to queue for about 10 to 15 minutes before our allocated slot.

Our guide, Francisco, was excellent, giving an entertaining and informative commentary in several languages whenever we were on the coach. The driver, Miguel, was also excellent and gave a very comfortable journey. The problem for us was lack of time off the coach at the viewpoints and especially at the top of the cable car, a disappointing 30 mins. Basically caused by other passengers who kept failing to return to the coach on time. and spoilt it for everyone else, without any sanction.

With this tour I enjoyed the scenes of mount tiede As I would highly recommend people to come on this tour, the cable cart was an enjoyable ride. What I did not enjoy was the fast-paced time limited situations, which meant that I could not enjoy the full experience. As a result, I feel if I came again that I would rent a car and drive myself. Upon coming to the destination we were given an hour to explore which is not enough time and that is reason why my score is 6 out of 10

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Although we had been to Tenerife many times this was the first time we had gone out off the resort. It was lovely to see a different part and the guide explained various interesting facts along the way to Mount Teide. It was certainly value for money. We enjoyed the various stops to allow us comfort breaks and photo taking opportunities. I canot fault any part off the trip and would highly recommend it.

Everything worked like clockwork! The roads were winding as previous reviews mentioned but as long as you stay off your phone (????) whilst travelling and enjoy the surroundings it is fine! One of the most unforgettable experiences being on the cable car! We also walked route 12 but didn’t go to the summit (you need a license) but we didn’t feel left out! The altitude was interesting as we needed to take it slower than usual on the walk but it is quite short but with amazing views!

1. Guide was excellent. 2. It took 2 hours to get to Teide, as we had numerous pick-ups. This resulted in my daughter feeling very unwell in both directions as we were stopping/starting frequently and turning in and out of lots of roads. 3. As a result of the above, we only got just over an hour at Teide - I was expecting we were going to get 2 -3 hours there. This meant that after going up Teide we had no time to buy lunch. Even if we had been able to we were not allowed to eat on the coach.

Unfortunately, we had no cable car, this was closed due to ice. The guide mentioned this as we arrived at the site - not mentioned when we boarded the coach. We were left to do our own walking around the base of Teide. Offered to walk with guide. The guide was 40 minute late coming back - so waited around in the heat of the day on the side of the road. It wasnt value for money - and would not have got on the coach as was only interested in the cable car ,

Nearly got the wrong pick up point, that’s the only thing when booking trips when you’re in a place you’re not familiar with, it’s a bit of a worry and if you get it wrong you’ve lost your trip, so better information on pick up points is needed, even a sign that says TUI excursion pick up point would be helpful.

The trip itself was very well organised and included lots of opportunities to see different places around Mount Teide. We didn't get long at the top. When we arrived we needed the toilet and therefore had to wait for a cable car. We didn't get to the top until around 10.45 and needed to come back 11.30. This wasn't long enough to fully explore which was a real shame. Especially as we then had to wait 25 mins on the coach for a family who were late back.

The coach journey was good. Air conditioned and a stop half way up the mountain for refreshments. However, at the top, we had to queue for the cable car. This took about 30 minutes. The ride on the cable car was great - 8 minutes to the top station. We should have had an hour at the top (there is an hour restriction on Mount Teide) however we only got 40 minutes before we then had to join the queue for the cable car ride back down to meet our tour guide at the time she had specified.

It was very informative and there was a lot to be told about even shown a national park. A proper food and drink break would have made it more enjoyable. 7am till 2.30 or 3pm is a long time to not have a proper break.

It was an amazing experience, our driver Hersus and our guide Marriot were brilliant, very informative and fluent in the languages . What spoilt it was the fact people Can’t adhere to simple messages when told to be back on the bus at certain times ,,, overall more than an hour was wasted waited for inconsiderate people . This can’t be blamed on Tui or the guide / driver they done a great job , but it does spoil it for us.

The experience was so much more than I expected it was absolutely amazing, tour guide was fantastic too very informative and great sense of humour, repeated everything in 4 different languages. Driver was great too navigating the steep windy roads. Feel privileged to have taken part in this experience. An absolute must if visiting tenerife.

The guide was amazing very informative. Would of been better to go from our hotel rather than have to walk at 7.20 in the morning. But was a very good day

Excellent
The guide, José, was excellent and full of interesting knowledge and enthusiasm. Unfortunately the cable car was not in operation when we went there due to high winds, but the cost of same was refunded immediately. The bus driver Ruiz was excellent and negotiated the narrow roads around Teide with no problems.

The whole day out was excellent. Time spent at top of Mt. Teide was just right. The guide, Benjamin, was friendly and very knowledgeable.
