Excellent

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, we felt at ease in his company and enjoyed the tour very much, our only grumble would be that we didn’t enjoy the sales pitch in the natural product shop, although friendly and entertaining, we would have preferred longer enjoying the souks.

It was a good experience, Abdul was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Background historical information was a bit limited but he answered all questions we posed. Focused us on specific retailers of leather, jewellery, etc, one of whom was far too pushy so we went elsewhere. Overall worthwhile.

So the souks experience was great but our tour guide definitely took us to his friends to purchase souvenirs. He wouldn’t let us shop in the souks or stop at stalls and that meant I missed out on getting what I wanted there. Mr Price- the friend is pushy and will ramp up prices. Great to see the souks and feel safe though
