What to expect
Located in the heart of the Latin Quarter, the former garden of Queen Marie de Médicis' palace is one of Paris' green jewels. It forms a diverse and elegant park that offers a panorama of the types of European gardens. Our guide will help you discover the French gardens, the English gardens, the Medici fountain, the quincunxes as well as some remarkable trees. The history of the place will be explained, the architecture and function of the main monument - formerly a Palace and today the Senate - will be described, as well as some of the sculptures and artwork that decorate the garden.
