Get ready to enjoy a complete experience in Madrid. Enter the Reina Sofía Museum to admire the Spanish masterpieces of the 19th and 20th centuries. Discover Madrid at your own leisure with an audio-guided tour and marvel at the city's top attractions.Prepare yourself to visit the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art located in a 2005 building. Designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, the gallery hosts a large collection of Spanish and international artists. Don't miss the chance to marvel at the works by Picasso and Dalí, but also Joan Miró, Juan Gris, Lucio Fontana, Ives Klein, Max Ernst, Robert Delaunay, Yves Tanguy, Georges Braque and many more. You'll have also the opportunity to admire the must-see Picasso masterpiece, the Guernica painting.On this experience, you'll also discover the Spanish capital at your own leisure, accompanied by an audio-guided system on your smartphone that will share with you fascinating stories, rich in curiosities, narrated by local experts in your own language while you walk along the city streets. Important: on Sundays, the Reina Sofía Museum is open from 10.00am to 2.30pm. The sale of tickets at the ticket office will finish at 2.00pm, apart from advanced bookings. Entrance to the museum will be free starting at 1.30pm
Admission is free on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7pm to 9pm, Sundays from 12:30pm to 2:30 pm, and on 18 April, 16 and 18 May, 12 October and 6 December
Closing days: 1 and 6 January, 1 May, 15 May, 10 November, 24, 25 and 31 December. On 24 and 31 December only Parque del Retiro venues will remain open until 5 pm
The Sabatini building has ramp access. The Nouvel building has automatic lockers for wheelchair users
Use the cloakroom at the entrance to the Nouvel building for large possessions (please note: the Nouvel has no ramp access)
Photos without flash, tripod, monopod or any other stabilizing element are allowed, except where otherwise indicated
No photos or image recording equipment is allowed in area 206 (Picasso's Guernica)
Baby carriages/pushchairs/strollers can be borrowed at the locker service counters or you may bring your own
