Learn how to create your own Vietnamese lantern with a local craftsman and bring luck, happiness and wealth to your family members.

Your local guide will meet you at the hotel and you will ride by bicycle to the home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you will have a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making them. You will be shown how to decorate and make your own lanterns then bring them home as a spiritual souvenir.

After saying good bye to the host, you will cycle pass through beautiful rice fields to Tra Que Vegetable village, an amazing vegetable farm where villagers use traditional techniques to produce Vietnamese organic crops.
