Join a guided tour of Lagoa do Fogo to learn more about volcanos and see eruptions' evidence, before bathing in hot springs or enjoying a cold waterfall.

After meeting at the Marina for checking-in, you'll reach the protected nature reserve of Lagoa do Fogo by van, stopping at Pico da Barrosa and Bela Vista for some of São Miguel’s best views, with the “lake of fire” and its 15.000 year-old crater, surrounded by the endemic flora and the Atlantic. You'll descend down the crater northbound, passing by the Caldeira Velha’s environmental centre to learn more about the volcanic origin of the islands, their geodiversity and biodiversity.
