On this tour you'll enjoy a stroll through the impressive labyrinth of cellar vaults, constructed and designed by the engineering genius Carl Ritter von Ghega. The cellars have a magical flair, and are filled with countless bottles of liquid gold. Discover the traditional method of sparkling wine making in the unique ambience of Austria’s oldest and biggest sparkling wine cellar.

This 30-45 minute tour of the cellars provides information on the origin of Sparkling Wine and Champagne and explains how the sparkle is born inside the bottle. Try to “hand-riddle” the bottles on the wooden sloping racks and have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of Schlumberger Sparkling Wines.

• Connaisseur tour: The Connaisseur Tour offers a glance into the multifaceted world of Austrian Sparkling Wine. The tasting includes a glass of Schlumberger Sparkling Brut followed by the two single-varietal specialties Pinot Noir Brut Reserve and Chardonnay Brut Reserve
