Together with your expert guide, you'll walk through some of the most characteristic areas of the Eternal city and you will taste typical food in family-run shops.
Begin your walking tour from Piazza Farnese, the beautiful Renaissance square where you will get the chance to admire Palazzo Farnese (site for the French Embassy), designed by refined artists, two ancient fountains and a beautiful church.
Reach Campo de' Fiori, one of the most important and famous squares in Rome, hosting a fresh fruit and vegetable market every day until 4 pm. While in the square take some time to admire the famous Giordano Bruno statue, sculpted by Ferrari and dedicated to the Dominican philosopher burnt alive there in 1600 by Catholic Inquisition.
Continue your experience visiting the Ancient Pizzicheria Ruggeri, a 100-years-old grocery store managed by a local family; here you will meet the owners and taste some local specialties
Stop at the Antico Forno Roscioli, the best bakery in town, taste Roman-style pizza and learn how to order your food in Rome; then continue to the Jewish Ghetto, where you'll taste fried food surrounded by a unique atmosphere. While walking through the area you will also admire the ruins of the Portico d'Ottavia (Octavia's porch) and the main Synagogue of Rome.
Head to Trastevere crossing the oldest bridge of Rome and reach the Ristorante Sette Oche in Altalena where you will enjoy a pasta tasting. Lastly, stop at Fiordiluna, a family-run gelateria, where you will experience an unforgettable gelato tasting.
