Great
Overall is was a wonderful experience, the Children (aged 9 & 12) both having created memories which will last a life time. Lapland/Finland is such a beautiful country with the winter scenes just like post cards. Right from the start of getting off the plane the views were breath-taking, -24degrees was something different I have to admit. The clothing you are provided with was clean and well presented, easy to collect and an essential item (expensive if you were to have to purchase these before hand). When arrive at resort the accommodation was lovely with plenty of room with all rooms being clean and warm. Around the village there was plenty of sledges for Children (and adults) to enjoy which certainly my eldest did, maybe there could be a bit more organisation around the use of the sledges as most holidaymakers were making there own slopes on piles of snow/ice some of which became quite dangerous with rocks and ice appearing under the top layer of snow. Maybe the TUI reps should be involved in these like they are on sun holidays around the pool. The food was OK with a variety presented at each meal time just about covering all types of eaters, the selection children was limited. Bit disappointed there wasn't move of local cuisine available. The Snow Village was amazing, the building quite unbelievable. The trial husky and snowmobile rides were excellent. The visit to Santa I found was a bit underwhelming and thought could have been a bit more magical, saying that the Children both enjoyed. The reindeer experience was again a slight disappointment in that it was booked un-knowingly when it would be dark so visibility was low but still an enjoyable experience. Would have probably preferred to swap the 2 experiences around and visited the snow village later in the day which might have made the Santa experience better. Overall it was a magical once in a lifetime holiday.
