The bus was late and it was not clear from the ticket what bus we had to lookout for. Driver did not speak english so when he arrived took a while for us to actually realise. Upon arrival staff were helpful and informative. The rums were good quality and worth the price and the tour (which is basically a 5 minuet talk and a 3 minuet video) was informative. Took place in a shop where there was pressure to buy rum which started at 100$ a bottle and when we didn’t buy said he would lose commission

Tasting was good. Can be more informations from the rum guide. Basically all proces was rush. This ud only degustaion in shop. I couldn't finnish all my runms because they tell us we need to go. And we want to buy some rum but they push us out from the shop because our driver is outside. But he wasn't. We waint another 15 minutes for him. I try to buy something from the shop and they ask me about room number. Why? An on label says $3.50 and cashier say $4. I didn't buy anything and left upset.

Advertised as a Rum Lab Tour, however, it was only a short video, history of Oliver's rum and tasting. This part of the experience only lasted for around half an hour. Myself and our daughter do not drink but still had to pay full price so we could accompany my husband. When we first arrived, we were given a tour of the shop, showing us what we could purchase, which seemed to be more important than the rum tasting.

The rum experience is at the back of a shop named tiano, so likely you will find your experience time will be changed to fit in with the shop visit. The speaker is knowledgeable and fun, and will tell you as much as they can about the rum that you will try. You will leave later then the shop group, but don't worry, tui make sure you get back safe.... Though dependant on traffic very late

Staff in the shop were very informative and helpful. Enjoyed learning about the company history and has been great for the DR. Our guide was amazing (can’t remember his name), very good pace, funny and interesting to learn about flavour combinations and pairings with rum. Opted to taste a cigar, again very informative. Enjoyed a private tasting to our needs/wants. There is a shop too with good price but was rushed to meet our driver. Would recommend even if you don’t like rum.

The whole experience is amazing. The Rum tour was so well put together and knowledgeable. The guide Roodi was brilliant. The whole place is brilliant from the selection of rums to buy, Cigar humidor and lounge at the back definitely added to the experience. Such good value for money it's an experience we'll worth your time and money if you are interested in Rums cigars etc.

Some people didnt show up for our tour so there was just the 3 of us, we got the full vip treatment which was amazing, the knowledge the staff have of the lab is unbeatable.There is a gift shop which sells every souvenir you can think of, all at great prices. The tasting was great fun, we tried 4 different rums in the session, but was then allowed to try more in the gift shop, plus coffee, chocolate, hot chocolate and mamajuana. Amazing value for money, just make sure to bring money for the shop

The overall experience was good but what let it down was the driver we got to take us there never said a word to us no greeting also coughing all the time drop us of and never mentioned that we would be getting different transportation back but the actual experience of rum and cigar tasting was good

Wendell, supervisor who did our tour was very knowledgeable, made the tour interesting and funny. Very warm and friendly too. Shop has some amazing products and gifts too.

The rum tasting experience itself was really good, 4 double measures of premium rum made it worth the value alone. The guide was really good, all the other staff were friendly too. I hadn't realised that it was within a shoo and that other people in our transfer were just there to shop. It was confusing and unclear and would have been helpful if we had known this before hand. There was a long wait just walking around the shop but once the tour did start, it was worth the wait

The host/guide, Anthony was brilliant with everyone. Really informative, intelligent and funny. Accommodated for all languages. The rum we tried was very nice, old as 50 years! We did try only 4, it would have been great if the tour lasted a little longer. Great place to get souvenirs and gifts from in the shop afterwards. We also paid extra to try chocolate and we didn’t try any? Not sure what happened there. Anyway, we did enjoy the tour.

Wow, the guide definitely made this enjoyable, we brought 5 tickets with the tasting & cigar. The only thing I will say is after tasting the rum, the staff don't give you the cigar, I think, the cigar should be put on the table with the rum & appetisers. Apart from that loved it.

This was a great tour, for anyone booking though it might be better to explain what you actually got for each package on offer, for example some of the pairing options suggested you got chocolate pairing but was this with rum tasters, if yes why is it cheaper than 4 rum tasters, we booked rum tasters and appeared to get chocolate, coffee cigars , etc so a bit confusing. But still a great experience. Anyone booking be advised this is actually at the back of a shop. Good for gifts

Anthony who hosted was great. Held everyone's attention with humour and rum knowledge. The rums were fantastic with a great selection offered from the shop... with no pressure to buy.... There wasn't anything I didn't like about this trip.

The actual Rum tour provided by Anthony was excellent, but being dropped off an hour early to do some shopping was unexpected. If I had of known I wouldn't of gone, I'm struggling to walk due to a back injury and think it's disgraceful to be put in that situation with no prior warning

Trying 4 different runs neat was something I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy- but trying them with cheese, marmalade, chocolate and salt was a different experience. Getting a chance to taste different chocolate and coffee was an added bonus. In addition, moving around the experience and watching a short video and seeing the companies history on the walls was also a good experience. Anthony was also excellent as a guide with his humorous approach

This wasn't a first choice because of the reviews but still we went to experience it and we really enjoyed all of it. The tour guy gave us a lot of information and thought us a lot about rum tasting and cigars. All staff was really friendly and helpful. No one push us to buy anything. We really recommend to visit.

This is a rum tasting not a distillery tour. This is in a back room (very well decorated) of a large shop. With those expectations this was fun, informative and reasonably priced. The guide was funny and charismatic and the shopping was good. Only thing to improve on is knowing what was going on as some on the trip were just for shopping so we had to ask about the tasting and then we didn’t know how we were getting back as the bus left after shopping. The staff returned us to the hotel.

It was described as rum distillery tour , it’s not a distillery it’s a souvenir shop where you can do a rum tasting . We shared a bus with others just goi g to shop . They called it the shopping trip . Supposed to say half day morning trip it was 4 when we arrived back. No information when we came out just ushered to a bus we recognised driver from morning run so got on , but apparantly we were In the wrong bus and driver wAsnt too happy and let us know it

Learnt all about the rums and what flavours went into different ones, learnt how to smoke a cigar properly and paired it with a good rum. We got to try 4 different rums and the guide was brilliant and knowledgeable on each one.

Little confusing initially with the bus driver, wasn’t 100% clear, but once there, we enjoyed the tour and learned a fair bit about Rum! Great guide, really informative and made it fun too. Highly recommend this.

The rum tasting was an enjoyable experience and the guide was very good and was very good at speaking English but the tour is described as a distillery tour which it isn't, its actually a retail unit on a small industrial estate with a huge gift shop and cafe and a tasting room at the rear.

It was a lovely experience. Felix our guide wasn't pushy and very helpfull in what we where looking for. The tasting with the cigar was fabulous. He knew a lot about his product and told us with passion about it. Only recommendation I have is to list that the tasting isnt in a distillery like we thought.

Got there early so the rum tasting wasn’t ready yet however was greeted by Javier (Xavier) and couldn’t have asked for a greater welcome and experience, he was so welcoming first showing us the unique plants outside the venue, then he gave us a chocolate tasting and went out his way to open a cocoa plant for us and allowed us to try it, we then went to the rum part and showed us what we thought was every rum possible Inc tasters and also cigars, amazing customer service 10/10 would come again.

1st this wasnt a distillery it was a shop. The story behind the run was quite interesting The rum extremely expensive at £240 per bottle. Interesting how the rum changed by eatting something but most things do.

This was NOT a distillery tour as advertised. It was more of a sales pitch at a shop. The guide was very good and was knowledgeable but it was not what we were led to believe by the title and description. It was a back room of a shop where we were told about Oliver rum which was Interesting and tasted four and also tasted after eating chocolate and cheese. Then back Into the shop. Not the experience advertised. Especially as hotel staff told us we could have got free bus to the outlet!!

Brilliant if you like Rum and want to learn a bit more. The only down side was the video about the company. It was the only time it felt like a sales pitch. They were very informative and at no time did we feel any pressure to buy the products, just enjoy them.
