Die Tour «Ancient Kourion Tour with Paphos Town» liess den Teil «Paphos Town» komplett aus! Der Guide begründete dies mit Zeitmangel und der Behauptung, keine Altstadt sei mehr vorhanden. Guide Andreas war zwar sehr geschichtsbewandert, trat jedoch oberlehrerhaft auf und bestrafte Nichtwissen der Teilnehmer mit langen Wartezeiten auf seine Antwort.

Der Ausflug nach Kourion und Paphos hat meinem Mann und mir gut gefallen. Die Reiseleiterin war sehr aufmerksam und hat viel interessantes über die Geschichte Zyperns und die besuchten Orte erzählt. Leider wurde Englisch gesprochen, so dass ich nicht immer alles verstanden habe. Der Bus hat uns mit 15 Minuten Verspätung abgeholt. Wir wurden unsicher, ob wir an der richtigen Haltestelle stehen.

Dieser Ausflug war ein absolutes Highlight. Unser Reiseleiter Andreas brachte uns mit seinem sehr umfangreichen Detailwissen (hat Geschichte, Mythologie und Naturwissenschaften studiert) die Höhepunkte bei den einzelnen Stationen näher. Es war sehr kurzweilig und wir waren vollauf begeistert und zufrieden. Dieser Ausflug ist ein Muss!

The "free time" in Paphos was disappointing in fact non existent. We were looking forward to seeing Paphos so and a quarter to have lunch and walk round was not enough in fact we had just enough time to eat and rush back to the coach. The rest of the excursion was fantastic the guide was very informative and knowledgeable as well as being a bit of a joker which kept most on the tour very interested. The 4 exhibits we visited did feel a bit rushed so maybe consider splitting, a day for excursions

Guide Andreas hat uns sehr gut informiert und intensiv bei diesem Ausflug begleitet. Er hat ein wahnsinnigen Wissen und teilt dieses auch gerne mit anderen. Leider waren die Temperaturen von ca. 34 Grad für Pafos einfach zu heiss. Tipp von uns: Diese Tour sollte man nicht im Sommer anbieten. Ansonsten sehr lohnenswert!

Too many stops at 'preferred' establishments along the way. We did not need to stop and cross a busy main road just to see aphroditys rocks in the sea no safe way over the road had to climb over a road barrier to see . Absolutely pointless would have been better just getting on with the journey to see the archaeology we had paid to see. Would have liked to have seen more I.e the gladiators mosaics. But no back on bus and off again

Andreas hat ein Wissen, das er gerne mit seinen Schützlingen teilt. Wer an der Geschichte Zyperns interessiert ist, ist bei Andreas genau richtig. Die Führungen waren nicht zu lang gezogen, bei der Hitze auch von Vorteil. Selbst in Pafos war noch genügend Zeit in einer Hafen Taverne zu Essen und zu trinken, oder kleine Einkäufe zu machen. Rund um ein gelungener Tag.

This one was a little disappointing to be honest! The coach arrived 45 minutes late after “traffic” issues. When we stopped at the historical sites we maybe had 20 minutes to take a look around, which just isn’t enough. Then when we got to the Paphos harbour we were given just 2 hours! As we got married on this side of the island the whole point was to get here! Grabbing some lunch and an ice cream was all we had time for! This experience just felt completely rushed for me!

Our guide Maria was exceptional. Knowledgeable and very, very funny. She pointed out things along the route, gave cultural information and knew where to stand to keep us all shaded. Her personal story of leaving Northern Cyprus was moving and added a human element to the story of Cyprus. She was fantastic. The coach trip was exceptionally hot and very very long. Wasn't helped by the driver opening is window a lot which brought hot air in.

Vi synes generelt det vi oplevede var godt og relevant for os, men turen var for lang. Vi blev hentet kl 7.45, dvs vi spiste morgenmad på hotellet kl 7.00. Vi sad i bussen ca 1,5 time uden nogen information eller guide. Vi stoppede kl 10.40 for morgenmad - virkelig lækkert sted men fik kun 10 min (træls). Så vi nåede ikke noget… De ting vi oplevede skulle vi skynde os igennem og vi fik først mulighed for at købe frokost kl 13.45 - det var også træls og 7 timer efter vores morgenmad.

Maria was Superb very knowledgeable and made the day . The Driver well always looking at his phone calling people taking hands of the wheels to pull his blind up and down leaning over to get water out of the fridge don’t sit in the front seat was scary . Apart from that a great if not long just over 2 hours in Paphos .

Tour was really good, and our guide Maria was very informative, and humorous at times. Only real downside was journey to, and from. As we were based in Pernera, we were one of the first on the bus, and last off on the return journey. We had to endure multiple pick ups/drop offs at all the other resorts along the island, making the journey extremely long.

Andreas kennt jeden antiken Stein persönlich. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt diese Tour mitzumachen. Das war ein sehr interessanter Tag. Ein bisschen Interesse für Archäologie sollte man allerdings mitbringen. Denn der Führer hat schon sehr viel Information für uns Besucher dabei. Jemand, der einfach nur ein bisschen historische Stätten gucken will, für den wird es vielleicht manchmal auch zu viel.

This trip was nothing short of awful.... 10 hours it last 7 hours of which we spent on the bus! The tour guide was knowledgable but we were rushed around each location 15mins at 1. She also talked complete nonesense in excess... things about a cat and a bay leaf tree. my husband was ill on way home due to length of bus ride. we would like a full refund

Dieser Ausflug war sehr interessant und informativ. Andreas hat sehr viel erzählt und es war sehr spannend ihm zuzuhören. Er hat ein ennormes Wissen über die Kultur, Geschichte und Botanik. Es macht immer sehr viel Spaß mit ihm. Ich kann diese Tour nur empfehlen. Die Wege sind halt lang bis zum Ausflugsort aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Miejsca wycieczki piekne. Malo czasu na zwiedzanie. W Kurion zobaczylismy jedynie namiastke, majac kilkanascie minut. W miejscu narodzin bogini Afrodyty 20 minut czasu na dojscie, zdjecia i toalete. Miejsce piekne, czlowiek mial ochote pospacerowac, ale nic z tego. Grobowce Królów podobnie przebieglismy jedna sciezka. Na koncu Pafos gdzie bylo okolo 2 godziny w tym mozaiki Dionizosa i utrata godziny. Wycieczka powinna trwac wiecej godzin. Przewodnik nie znal polskiego i byl tlumaczony co trwalo.

Ok der Süden ist mit einer langen Strecke verbunden. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen ziemlich weit auseinander. Da der Baumbestand recht spärlich ist war es obwohl erst Juni recht warm. Man muss schon ein Fabel für die Antike haben um sich das anzuschauen. Der Reiseleiter Andreas war natürlich wieder in Höchstform. Er schaut auf ein Autokennzeichen und hat mit der Zahl ein entsprechendes historisches Ereigniss zu berichten. Einfach bewundernswert

Der Ausflug war historisch sehr interessant. Es gab keine Wartezeit, die nette Reiseleitern erzählte interessante Fakten und die geringe Anzahl der Teilnehmer war optimal. Content, historical information and archaeological sites excellent all in one day trip too much very tiring Coach experience awful arrived very late coach itself from 1960? Rickety and dirty seats uncomfortable seat belts missing overhead luggage shelf rattled continuously had headache when got back.

Man sieht wirklich viel an dem einem Tag, auch wenn die einzelnen Ausgrabungsstätten viel mehr Zeit in Anspruch nehmen würden aber so hat man überall ein mal rein geschnuppert. Der Guide Andreas macht das mit Hingabe und ist geschichtlich sehr bewandert, erzählt sehr viel allerdings auf Grund seines starken Akcent, Teiles schlecht bis gar nicht zu verstehen.

Wir hätten gern mehr Zeit am Fels der Aphrodite verbracht, z.B. für Badestopp. Die Königsgräber und Mosaike in Paphos waren unspektakulär und könnten fakultativ angeboten werden. Dafür mehr Zeit im Ort selbst, evtl. für eine Stadtführung, Bootsfahrt oder den Sonnenuntergang verwenden.

Generell war es ein super interessanter Ausflug. Andreas der Reiseleiter hat sehr viel erzählt, hat ein enormes Wissen - sehr beeindruckend. Die Zeit war allerdings dann in Paphos ein Problem, wir hatten dann nur eine Stunde Zeit etwas zu essen und die Hafen Gegend zu erkunden, das ist schade, dass es dann etwas stressig war am Ende.

The various visits were very much time constrained due to the inordinate amount of travel, this coupled with the number of early pickups made it a long day for not alot of experience time.

...tolle Fahrt über Kourion, einer antiken Ausgrabungsstätte, nach Paphos zu den Königsnekropolen und zu den Mosaiken der einstigen römischen Stadt, guter Service und auch der Reiseleiter hat sehr interessant berichtet.
