Due to my daughter being 11 and reading the Tui booking information, she could only do the one hour beginners ride. I was led to believe from pictures that this would be on the beach from the pictures on the Tui site. However, when we arrived the staff said that my daughter could go on the more advanced rides and the age restriction was not there’s. My daughter and I were disappointed as the ride was around salt mines (still lovely) but not what we had planned. Guides were great though !

When I booked back in January I hadn’t realized that I’d be riding on the salt flats & not the beach. They do different trips on different days. It would be useful to know that as I would have booked a different day had I known. Despite that, I had a great time..

The horse riding was very good with good staff and lovely horse. My only criticism was that the experience was expensive and the photo's over priced as well. The guides could give you more information about the horses and the island. But a every enjoyable experience overall.

Great experience. I can ride but was really nervous and the guides were brilliant. Horses are nothing like our spooky horses in the uk so once I got used to riding a smaller, narrower horse I felt very safe. So lovely to be able to ride on the beach

We enjoyed the experience. It was sad to see dead baby turtles in the sand, as well as some rubbish. Overall a relaxing horse ride. It was a bit disappointing at the end they wanted 15 euros for a digital photo, or 30 euros for the whole lot, when the trip was already expensive and the photos weren't to our liking anyway. If you want them they email them to you, but as we didn't have mobile data we couldn't be confident we would receive them!

Really enjoyed this. The route is really peaceful and you get to spend some time walking along the beach. Make sure you tell them the correct level you are because they have different horses for different abilities, and my horse was quite energetic!! Horses seem to be taken really good care of as well which is nice.

Lovely experience. My daughter and I are complete beginners. The guides were very reassuring and fun, we throughly enjoyed it. We did one hour which was just enough for us. The horses are beautiful. They took us to the salt flats and a photographer Ziggy took pictures. Tips would be, take Euros if you want to buy photos. A pack is 25 euros. Single picture 10 euros. Wear trousers. Take water. You can leave things in a locker. Recommend

Fabulous ride into the desert and on to Kite Beach for galloping. The horses are really well looked after and in tip top condition. The guide's are very friendly and there's an opportunity purchase photo's from the ride too.

Fab experience, the horses were obviously loved and looked after. Our guide Ziggy was great. Hour and a half a good amount of time if you’ve not ridden in a while. My tips would be take some cash to buy photos of your ride €10 for 1 €15 for 2 or €25 for them all, which mine amounted to about 25 fabulous pics. Also don’t worry about taking a bag, ********** bags are provided to put your valuables in or lockers at the stables.

Matheus was brilliant and very funny and my horse "King" was a joy to ride. I had zero previous experience with horse but went solo once Matheus taught me what and how to do it. If I come back afain I will deffo do it all again.

My husband and I went on the horse ride and I cannot fault the experience from start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the stables where we had a briefing and started the ride. Our guides were helpful and we felt safe with them. The horses picked for us were perfect for us as beginners. The ride was 90 minutes and we were taken across the salt flats to the beach and back. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This was a great way to see the sights of Sal. We had three guides for 5 people so had a lot of individual attention. The horses were carefully selected for each ability level. Highly recommended for any level of horse rider.

The experience was great, but I had to rebook as the date was cancelled. I wasn’t offered an alternative date so I booked and paid again. 3 weeks later I am waiting for the refund. I had a text on the Tui app re cancellation yet customer service still heed to do an investigation to get me my money back. Really bad customer service and I will never book an experience through TUi again.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The horses and stable were well-kept. The instructors were knowledgeable and able to intervene quickly when one horse became too excitable for the rider. Beautiful scenery. The experience was for the evening, so a long sleeved top and bug spray would have been useful to know beforehand.

Really nice ride across the salt mining area and then the beach on the 90 min ride. Had a small mixed group of abilities, but three guides meant we all had good support. Tip if you go is do wear long trousers, I had shorts on and my calf’s rubbed. They took amazing photos of us too which were very good value ??

Thought I would give horse riding a go again after a ten year gap and wasn’t sure what the stables would be like - but this experience was absolutely wonderful. Ziggy and the team are so helpful whether you are a beginner or advanced and the horses are gentle, happy and very well cared for. I enjoyed it so much I went twice during our holiday! Special thanks to Ziggy who gave me the confidence to try cantering again ??????

Extremely knowledgeable guides who made themselves aware of each riders ability/previous experience of horse riding. Nobody was asked to do anything they didn't feel comfortable with. The horses appeared well looked after, and were all extremely well behaved.

Great experience. Horses all well cared for. Guides very helpful and always close by if needed. We did the 90 minute tour across the salt mines and onto kite beach. Was a lovely gentle ride and then got the option to gallop alongside the waves on the beach. Photographer followed the locations and took brilliant photos. Photos can be brought (digital images) for around 30 euros for a couple (25 euros for a single package, 10 euros for one photo)

Booked this excursion and it ended up just being me and my wife which was great! You get taken to the botanical garden where your horse instructor meets you and takes you to the stable. We did the 2 hour ride across the salt mines and Kite beach. I’m a novice to intermediate horse rider but my wife is more experienced so she got to gallop with one instructor across the beach several times. I was able to trot and also canter with the other guide. All in all a truly remarkable experience!

Unfortunately my husband was taken ill half way into the riding. However the staff quickly arranged a taxi to collect us from where we were and got us back to our hotel. They then had two extra horses to look after! Staff were amazing ??

I am a regular rider and found the horses in good condition and well cared for. They were happy and well behaved. Their tack was almost new. Pace of the ride is determined by your experience level. If you have never ridden before, the lovely staff will lead your horse. I was able to gallop along Kite Beach - priceless!

The horse riding experience was brilliant. The stable guys matched each of us up to a horse and were polite, knowledgeable, and great guides. It was interesting to see the salt marsh and explore a little of Sal on horseback. Highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this experience. I was picked up in a taxi at the hotel and taken to the stables. The guides were very helpful, courteous and friendly. I felt that my safety was very important to them and they made sure I was comfortable and had a wonderful time.

We had booked as a family of 4. Unfortunately only 2 of us ended up riding due to weight restrictions and 1 of our children decided he was too scared! Be aware that the weight restriction is strict due to the size of the horses. My husband understood this and took our son around the lovely botanical gardens whilst myself and our other son went on the ride. The riding was amazing! The salt mines were wonderful to see. We have some fantastic professional photos they took for us to treasure!

Everything was amazing about this. As beginners, the guides were really helpful in getting us set up on the horses and were really reassuring and helpful throughout. The horses were amazing and going through the dessert and salt mine, and then along the beach, was just an unforgettable experience. Would definitely do this again!

Really nice guides, horses are all looked after fantastically. Booked 90 minutes for me and my 9 year old daughter - leadrope lead by a member of staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole of the sights there and the timing was just enough for us and the horses before it gets too warm for them.
