Our experience was amazing, however the driver/guide that we had was not great. One of our companions on the safari was bullied by the guide and overall he was quite unengaged. Myself and one of the others on the trip pretty much spotted every animal that we spotted.

We had pressure to hand over water bottles that we had no idea we were getting in the first place apparently to local orphans, we were taken to a masi village that wasn't on our itinerary and also cost us $20 each. How can you say no when you are there in front of them. It was forced. We could have spent the time at the lovely hotels that we spent the nights in but didn't have time to use things like the pool. The actual safari was fantastic and we loved it.

Very enjoyable overall but I think lodges could make things easier for guests with mobility issues by not placing them in rooms as far away from reception areas as possible.

Leider bin ich insgesamt vom Urlaub sehr enttäuscht und habe schreckliche Erlebnisse und viel Zeit verschwendet um das nicht zu bekommen das ich Zuhause gebucht habe. Selbst der Kontakt mit Tui selbst hat hier in Afrika nichts bewirken können. Ich bin beruflich Fotograf und habe die zwei Safaris zuhause gebucht wo in der Info Stand das ich früh morgens auf Pirschfahrt gehe und am Abend auch bis spät Abends unterwegs wäre. The area are nice and the views are lovely but not much animals can seen mostly individual or small groups sometimes they are far , the drivers are nice and friendly and there are radio communication between them to have any action or interesting animals around different areas. The lodges are nice clean friendly staff nice food some of them you can see many animals around

We had the most amazing time on safari. The hotels were beautiful. We managed to see lions, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, hippo, hyenas and lions. Well worth the money. Only criticism would be that there aren’t as many animals at Taita Hills sanctuary as in other parks but Salt Lick Lodges are amazing

Absolutely outstanding safari experience. Our guide Hamisi was just the best in locating the animals. We were very lucky and saw elephants, lions, zebras cheetahs and leopards to name a few. I also got to photograph the Milky Way in the evening from the lodge.

Saidi ist der beste Fahrer/Guido überhaupt. Sehr professionell unglaublich freundlich und er hat sich sehr mühe gegeben uns die Big 5 zu zeigen, am ersten Tag haben wir bereits Löwen gesehen. Note 1 mit Stern für den Guide. Die Lodges waren super schön und sind nur zu empfehlen ! Aber das beste war natürlich die Natur, der Park , einfach ein unglaubliches Erlebnis !

Unser Guide hat quasi nicht gesprochen. Es war eine kontinuierliche Überraschung was wir als nächstes machen. Hier hätte vielleicht ein Ablaufplan von TUI oder Pollmann geholfen. Sonst vor Ort viele Tiere gesehen und tolle Erlebnisse gehabt. Die Zimmer unterwegs waren eher ok als gut. Das Essen war allerdings klasse. Und überall sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen! Die Kenianer sind spitze! In Summe eine sehr lohnenswerte Tour bei dir man allerdings immer einen Extraeuro bereithalten muss

I was charged at least 10% more than the price available 10 days before the tour. We were a family group of 10 people booked on one booking and the total extra I have been charged is £448! TUI are now hiding under the excuse that they are waiting to hear from Pollmans! This is to say the least passing the buck!??

Die Safari war super, es gab nichts auszusetzen. Die Lodges waren sehr schön und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Unser Guide war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr viel erzählt und hat auf Nachfragen auch immer eine Antwort gehabt. Alles in einem: ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Unser Guide war super, hat uns alle Fragen beantwortet und versucht uns alles zu zeigen was geht. Die Zimmer in den Loges waren auch wirklich top. Gerne hätte ich vorher noch ein paar Infos gehabt bezüglich der Bezahlung in den Loges und wieviel Gepäck genau mitgenommen werden darf.

Our guide / driver (Athaus) was amazing. So knowledgeable about all the animals and places. I don’t know how he managed to spot the various animals that were hidden to our untrained eye. Definitely 3 of the best days of my life.

Intensieve, maar prachtige dagen gehad! Door de regen was het gras (te) hoog waardoor het lastig was om de katachtigen te spotten. Veel andere dieren gezien (o.a. olifanten, zebras, giraffen, elanden, antilopen, hippo). Gids was ervaren, netjes op tijd, vertelde niet veel uit zichzelf maar gaf uitgebreid antwoord op vragen. Jammer dat het aan het einde dan toch wordt overschaduwd door een enorm ontevreden gedoe rondom de fooi. Dat lijkt hier een goed gebruik, maar stoort ons mateloos.

Es war wirklich ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Alles sehr gut organisiert. Die Lodges waren wirklich toll, sauber und das Essen sehr gut. Besonders hervorheben wollen wir unseren Fahrer Jamal. Er ist stets sicher und umsichtig gefahren. Er hat uns sehr viel über die Tiere und die Natur erzählt. Und somit dazu beigetragen dass die Safari was ganz besonderes war.

Leuk; goede, ervaren gids chauffeur en bij Saltlick lodge (de lodge op palen) kwamen ook echt de dieren olifanten en zebra's zoals in de foldervermeld staat. Minder leuk: niets

De safari was het hoogtepunt van onze reis. Met name Salt Lick waar de dieren kwamen drinken onder onze huisjes was echt heel bijzonder. We voelden ons onderdeel van The Lion King!
