The guide was multilingual & did very well but majority on the trip were german so inevitably most Q&A we could not follow. The driver was excellent but 36 seater bus was difficult to manoeuvre on mountain roads which were very busy & other drivers seemed less confident which delayed progress . Lunch was very good.

Ivan, the guide, was very informative. A bit more time to explore Garachico would have been useful. The lunch at Mirador de Garachico was excellent, and they dealt with last minute requests for vegetarian meals very well.

There needs to be toilet stops. We had to wait a few hours whilst desperate for the toilet. Concentration was not as good as caused a lot of discomfort. The tour guide was excellent in her explanations and knowledge of the area and very approachable. The guide for the dragon tree, Jeremy's English was very difficult to understand although he tried his best. We had an excellent lunch and all at the restaurant were very friendly. All in all a very good trip.

Our guide was excellent and looked after us so well. He had great local knowledge and took time with us all to chat and answer questions. He made the trip so interesting and entertaining, always making sure we were looked after and had a lovely way about him and a great sense of humour. I would highly recommend the trip especially with Salim (apologies if that is the incorrect spelling of the name). Such a great guide, he made the trip for us. Thank you, Salim.

The personal touch of having a mini bus rather than a coach made the tour more enjoyable as we were able to hear what our guide Ivan was saying and he was very knowledgeable and this made trip us. He made all us on the mini bus laugh at times which was nice. If it was possible to pick him as a guide I think all us on the trip would.??

Enjoyed the trip overall but you might want to warn guests that some of the roads are very windy and steep... with lots of hairpin bends (near Masca) - if you don't like heights that bit isn't much fun... A coffee at the end of the meal would have been good. Also food more suitable for diabetics (my wife) would have been helpful

The visit to Masca which was lovely but way way too short only having half an hour. Our pick up was late due to guide being stuck in traffic then confusion over pick up times as on our booking it was 9.05 but it was around 10.00 that we eventually got picked up after us having to phone round about the delay we could have had more notification. The guide who told us about the Dragon Tree was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. The food was mediocre at best main course luke warm ?? .

I think that the trip was very informative and showed us some amazing places on the island that we wouldn't have otherwise seen. However, the time allowed at each stop was minimal, not enough time to see what the guide recommended. We felt rushed, and the bus parked quite far away. We found ourselves very hungry around mid morning, and didn't sit down to eat until 2pm. The meal was not in a traditional Finca either, it was a large restaurant, and we were served chicken leg and mash.

The scenery was absolutely stunning. The places we visited were scenic, quaint and interesting. The driver was absolutely fantastic on the road down to Masca on the many hairpin bends. We could have done with spending a little longer in Masca however. The lunch was at a lovely restaurant above Garachico and the food was really good quality. I like getting away from the usual tourist hot spots so this was great.

The experience was definitely great, the drivers were prompt, professional and very organised. We got to see the main towns, tourist attractions, amazing viewpoints and learned so much about the island. The lunch, wine tasting and local food tasting was also good and definitely gave us a taste of the local cuisine. Two suggestions: the weather in the mountains is more chilly, get a jumper and make sure to inform them about dietary requirements as everything is prepared in advance and ready.

A great day out and ideal way to see lots of fantastic scenery and villages. There were plenty of stops for photos and comfort breaks. The traditional lunch that was included was very nice and included a vegetarian option. Guide was helpful and informative.

I really enjoyed the trip to North West Tenerife. Ivan, the guide, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The trip included visits to Masca, Garachico, Icod de los Vinos and Santiago del Teide. The scenery was amazing and the lunch included was very good, but a vegetarian option would be good.

NW Tenerife very different to coastal area. So that was interesting. Stops were just right duration. Visit to Dragon Tree park was more interesting than I expected due to enthusiasm of park guide. Included lunch was decent. Our driver/guide Jose was brilliant.

We did the tour ‘back to front’ starting in Masca, no problem. Then Garachico, then the dragon tree. There was no opportunity to ‘gander around the town’. By 1.25pm we’d basically finished and went to lunch! On the way back we stopped in Santiago del Teide for 15 minutes - pointless. “The afternoon sees you exploring the craggy peaks of Teno Rural Park” - well that didn’t happen!!! Feel cheated. This was basically a half day trip! The lunch wasn’t needed as we could have just gone back at 1.25pm

A pleasant day out. Good quality lunch. Beautiful scenery. The guide was a local and provided interesting information. The small coach driver was very skilled on the narrow roads. A laid back day. The coach had a technical problem just prior to leaving the restaurant but a repair man arrived quickly. We would have appreciated being left to wander around Icod and Garachino towns ourselves rather than follow the guide around so we could look at the shops. She walked round too slowly for us.

Great day out. Great to see the North of the Island- so different to the South. Guides were great. Only quick visits to the villages but gave you a flavour. lovely visit to the dragon tree with wine tasting at a nearby shop. Lunch was lovely- 3 courses plus wine and water. Not sure about the banana and garlic croquettes????

Ivan the driver and guide turned up on time and explained the plan for the trip. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and we visited some beautiful out of the way places on some very tricky roads which if I had chosen to drive myself I would not have been able to have enjoyed the views. We had a good value 3 coarse meal including wine at a nice restaurant with good views overlooking the sea. The trip included different nationalities and were divided into separate mini buses. A good trip choice

It was a little disappointing to be on a bus with a majority of German people but I guess this is a necessity based on numbers on the day fitting on one bus, hence everything was narrated in German and English but on the whole it was an enjoyable day and the guide was knowledgeable and approachable. Views were spectacular!

Very knowledgeable guide. Garachico very interesting. Mosca valley beautiful if a little scary. I would not fancy driving it myself. A little more time in Icod would have been good. On the down side, we were picked up an hour before the last group and dropped off an hour after them which made it a long day. In high season people probably wouldn't be spread so far apart. Lunch was good but no vegetarian choice. 4 of 25 in our group were vegetarian.

We never received our tickets for the excursion. As a result we were unsure if the bus would arrive to collect us. Attempts to get clarity were frustrated by the online support system and telephone system. Infuriating tick boxes and eventually a 20minute wait to speak to someone. It wasted valuable holiday time and caused unnecessary tensions.

Christina, the guide, was excellent. Although we were the only English speakers on our bus, she went out of her way to make us feel at home. Her language skills are phenomenal. The food at the Mirador de Guarachico was of mixed quality. I have a food allergy so had to avoid the hors d'oeuvres but the soup was excellent and the chicken was good.

Great itinerary. Would have appreciated the chance to stop me take In the view at a viewpoint driving to Masca and also when we first crested the hill before descending to the north coast. Haven’t experienced a tour with several minibuses together before. Had some difficulty making out what he was saying over the walk-in talkie from his bus to ours. Was a bit concerned re safety when he was driving and guiding at the same time on som of those roads.

We really enjoyed the content of the trip and the various places visited. Value for money was excellent considering lunch was included. If I was to be 'picky' I would say that the lunch time was too late for us (2 pm) and would suggest scheduling this for about 1 pm as (to keep us going) we had to have a coffee and snack at Garachico. Additionally, the commentary by walkie talkie was not ideal and at times it was crackly and difficult to follow. However with a convoy of mini buses I appreciate that a tour guide on each bus would increase the cost. Overall very satisfied.

Very hard to follow, listen to the guide. No instruction or guidance round anywhere we went. Felt like dropped off and pick up in so many mins. Not organized like other trips I been on through tui. No explanation about. the plan for the day. Lunch was at the end of the trip everyone was very hungry by then Driver did his job well. Saw a lot but didn't learn a lot.

Found myself in a mini bus with noises small children and parents who were constantly chatting to them, which made listening to the guide very difficult, so missed much of the information about places that we passed. Places visited were good, but mostly left to ourselves, with little input from the guide, this was good and not good, as I would have liked to have discovered more about where we were. Driver was very good and felt safe with his driving. Careful cons needs to be given to mixed nationalities and children in small mini buses during these covid times.

All ok apart from the visit to the wine tasting. For us it was unorganised and appeared to be to try to sell items in the shop which is ok but the tasting samples soon ran out of croutons so you could not taste the products that were for sale. The wine samples were not discussed as to link them into what was for sale so you could not make that connection to buy. We queued up to buy items but the person on the till took so long selling to a person from outside the group that we gave up and put the products back. By the time we came outside the shop the group had left so we never saw the largest tree in the world. We thought that the trip was designed to looking at small villages but that was sadly lacking. Lunch was ok on the plus side………

A good all round experience plenty of photo oppertunitys ,an d you get to taste an atmosphere almost without the touch of tourism.
A chance to visit century's old church and castle with a thousand year old tree in the mix, only the rocks are older.
