Nesta excursão de dia inteiro, você subirá a bordo de um veículo 4x4 e seguirá fundo nas colinas escarpadas do centro de Thassos. Dê uma olhada em encostas rochosas, vilas remotas e vistas emocionantes. A rota leva você ao Mosteiro de Panaguda, Monte Ipsarion e fontes de Theologos. Aqui, visitaremos as fontes e cachoeiras de Theologos, um dos tesouros naturais da ilha." Aperte o cinto e acelere pelas sinuosas trilhas rurais até nossa primeira parada - o Mosteiro de Panaguda. É um lugar sereno para aproveitar os arredores rurais e a atmosfera pacífica. Saindo do mosteiro, dirigiremos por trilhas acidentadas até o pico mais alto de Thassos - o Monte Ipsarion. É uma montanha e tanto, com 1204 m de altura, um dos pontos mais altos das ilhas do mar Egeu. Daqui, as vistas abrangem toda a ilha e se estendem ao continente também. Desfrutaremos de uma parada simples para um refresco enquanto apreciamos o panorama. No caminho de volta do topo, em trilhas cercadas por vegetação selvagem e paisagens maravilhosas, pararemos no assentamento de Theologos para apreciar as fontes e a cachoeira. As regras locais em Theologos visam preservar a aparência tradicional da vila - você notará a arquitetura harmoniosa enquanto faz um curto passeio a pé pelas antigas vielas da vila e termina com uma bebida em Neromilos.

Absolutely loved this trip, probably more enjoyable if you get to sit in the front seat. It is very bumpy and you do get thrown about a bit. But the views from the top of the mountain are well worth it.

Great guide, and loved the trip up the mountain. But we were disappointed that we couldn't get into the monastery as this was our secondary reason for opting for this trip. The watermill stop was fine, but an hour there was too long because if you don't want a drink there's nothing else to do. Also it would have been nice if the snack provided was more traditional/local.

Vehicles should only accommodate 4 adults.Seats in the boot don't offer enough room, knees bang & rub on seats in front, feet scrunched up with nowhere to go. It's extremely uncomfortable.The waterfall is very much a let down. Drive up the mountain is long & v. uncomfortable. We only stayed 10 minutes after an hour in the car to have another hour back down. The monestary was interesting & worth a visit. The village was lovely, it would have been nice to stop there for lunch. Guide was 5*

This tour was fine which we shared with 3 German people but the driver translated the language very well indeed. He was a fine driver and we felt very safe and secure with him.

Nice to get out and about, we were asked to change our date , no problem, on the day everyone else was German, nice people but language barrier, water fall a disappointment, monastery closed trip to quarry no information, lunch a roll and bottle of water, lots of standing around with no information.

Better if number of passengers limited to 4 as rear boot seat was too small for adults for such a drive. Be prepared to swap around! Fantastic views, exhilarating ride, very bumpy indeed, with great entertainment at last stop off tavern. If a vegetarian, make sure you inform of dietary needs beforehand for your roll. Waterfall & lake was disappointing tbh, certainly not suitable for entering water. No need for swimming stuff, but should advise taking sensible walking shoes. A fun day.

Overall the trip was excellent, but we only drove past the lake and didn't see any waterfalls. The only downside was having 6 in the vehicle which meant that we had to take turns in the very back with very uncomfortable seat/cushion no leg room and limited view (more like sitting in a boot). Maybe the Tui Manager that made the decision that the vehicles take 6 people should try sitting in the back seat for 2 hours+.

Very enjoyable day. Small group was a bonus as felt like a private tour (just 4 in our jeep). Visited Kastro Village, the Monastery and the top of Mount Ipsarion. Great to get off the beaten track and see the interior of the island. Dominic our guide and Fanny our driver made our day. Both were so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. Fanny was such a careful driver and made us feel safe. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Guide overall informative but it would have useful to know itinerary at the start of the day. Monasterie we were due to visit was closed so no toilet break for over 6 hours. The vehicle was old and worn so not so comfy. Engine warning light was on! Thought we were going to visit Maries lake but only drove past. Taken to a taverna in Maries for nearly an hour but not told how long we were going to stay.Told to bring swimming gear but no swim stop. Saw a good amount of the island. Overall worth it

Overall excellent. Our guide (Dominic) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our day included a hillside village, a monastery, the peak of Mount Ipsarion (stunning views) a small lake and waterfall (no swimming) then a quick drink stop at another village. This was our 1st holiday on Thassos and thought it would be a good way to see some of the island. In fact we saw most of it. The car was comfortable but the back seats are a bit cramped for 2 adults. We booked through the app as it was cheaper.

Great guide, fun with local knowledge. As a tourist you would get to see this side of thasos, amazing views from the top of the Ipsarion mountain. We were told to bring our swimming gear but didn’t stop to bathe, not an issue it’s in the itinerary. Great day out

Really good experience we were the only family in our jeep, driver could answer all our questions, the drive was exciting, the view at the top of the mountain was incredible. The monastry was interesting and beautiful, tip is go to the loo there. The sandwich was more than adequate. We really enjoyed this trip.

Our driver was excellent, full of interesting facts and had a GSOH. We were advised to bring swimwear but there was no opportunity to swim. It would have been much improved if a midday meal had been provided (although the snack of cheese/meat roll was nice). We saw the whole island from Ipsarion and drove the majority of the coast road whilst collecting others, which was a bonus. The great company of the other four people on the tour really made the experience for us. Thank you ??

The view from the mountain was anazing and it was lovely eating our lunch at another spot on the mountain. The driver was caring and the guide was interesting. I was disappointed with the vehicle as taking 6 adults plus the driver was a squeeze and uncomfortable especially for the 2 in the very back. It was nice to visit Castro and the monastery. But it was a long day in a far from comfortable vehicle.

What an adventure but the trip up Mount Ipsarion is not for the faint-hearted! Despite heavy rain and imminent thunderstorms, the whole trip was thrilling and we enjoyed the stop offs at the monastery of Panagia and beautiful Kastro. Our driver - Aristophanes - was fantastic and we felt completely safe with him. He was also very knowledgeable and excellent company. Would highly recommend unless you are scared of heights and hair pin bends!!

Got changed and weather to changed date wasn't as good but that wasn't Tui's fault. Son was booked on alternative booking. Confirmed with rep via app both bookings changed confirmed yes. Then on day driver only had 2 of us. Anyway it was sorted. Good day. Don't know why recommend taking beach wear when no swimming involved. Longer in Kastro would be nice there is so much to explore. Cant see in house of bones now but still good to see it. Phillip and Thannis were brilliant. Lunch was good

Fannis our driver was great. He was pointing us out points of interest along the way. We met Phillip at the monestry who was really helpful and informative. The road to Ipsarion was super bumpy but such great fun!

The guide was good, trip up the mountain excellent for the views and visit to the remote Kastro village good too. Disappointed with the itinerary description, the lake and waterfall apparently are dried up. The visit to the monastery was a disaster, we weren’t let in as some of us were wearing shorts. Was a squeeze in the 4x4, 6 of us and 2 seats at back not great for bigger people up bumpy roads.
