O Es Cana Hippy Market é uma lenda. Volte aos anos 60 neste tesouro de barracas em formato de cubículo, onde suas fantasias de batik se chocam em uma nuvem de incenso. O mercado hippie número um e original de Ibiza se recusou a acompanhar os tempos. As barracas estão abarrotadas de itens autênticos e retrô, desde kaftans caleidoscópicos até contas e braceletes. Silke, um de nossos guias locais especialistas, diz: "O mercado é cheio de artesãos e artistas criativos, não apenas vendendo seus produtos, mas também tocando música. É uma experiência eclética e elétrica para toda a família." Uma grande variedade de produtos é oferecida, desde bolsas de couro costuradas à mão e uma enorme variedade de joias até artigos para o lar, como cestos feitos à mão e gravuras de arte. Roupas também são muito procuradas, e não faltam roupas legais e prontas para a praia. Os preços são razoáveis para itens tão únicos e muitas vezes artesanais. Silke acrescenta: "Em 1973, o hotel convidou artesãos hippies para vender seus produtos aos hóspedes. Hoje, há mais de 450 barracas. Você encontrará barracas vendendo vestidos e camisas brancas — o estilo típico de Adlib Ibiza, que foi criado durante o movimento hippie e ainda é muito popular." Se você gosta de apenas sentar e absorver a atmosfera, há comida e bebida para todos os gostos nas áreas gastronômicas. Há até atividades para as crianças e um playground para os pequenos. This was basically just a transfer to the hippy market. The guide contributed nothing, and got off the bus early when we got back to san antonio. The hippy market itself was good fun, as expected, and this was a convenient (if a little pricey) way to get there.

I loved the smooth running and punctuality of the excursion. The coach was air conditioned which was welcomed on a hot day. The guide was informative and friendly. No traffic en route and the hippy market in Es Canar is well worth a visit if you like shopping for unique gifts and trinkets.

Being on a lot of excursions on various island I would not call this a trip with a ‘guide’ it was more giving us instructions on where to pick the coach up and a few muffled microphone messages on the coach about a few local hotspots, this to me does not constitute as a guide.

It’s a fabulous market but I feel the trip should be longer so you can soak up the atmosphere more, I would have liked to have had time to see a little of es Cana as well but didn’t get chance due to the timings. We did have a great time at the market.

Enjoyed the market, it was very difficult to buy the experience on the Tui App, I could not download the payment page, I telephoned Tui and explained the situation where they sent me a link, which also did not work. wifi in the hotel was fairly good, but not good enough to download the payment page, Eventually it worked in San Antonio town. If there was a local rep in resort or hotel, it would have been a lot easier. Others in hotel would have booked this trip also if they knew how??

We enjoyed the convenient coach transportation to our hotel and back and feel the time allotted for us at the Hippy Market was just right. The only thing we did not enjoy was that instead of dropping off passengers based on proximity, we had to drive all the way to Cala Tarida to drop off passengers FIRST even though we were passing through the proximity of our hotel and could easily have been dropped off before then. It was an extra 90 min in transit time that was not necessary.

It was all good, the guide and transport to and from the market was excellent, clear about drop off and pick up. The market was excellent and good fun, decent facilities also.

It was a nice few hours out. No complaints other than the fact that the coach parked quite far from the market entrance and it was an uphill walk. This was quite difficult as I suffer from sciatica. The price of the excursion was also quite high for what it actually was

Enjoyed the journey there and back, great to see other parts of the island. Hippy Market was fab, lots of stalls and great atmosphere. Walked to the beach and enjoyed food and beer there. Tour guide was very informative and ensured we were all OK. Drivers drove safely and were polite. Worth the money too as I know some said it was expensive. Taxi would cost more from where we were in cala tarida. Bonus is you get to relax and listen to some interesting information.

Hotel was amazing as was the food. The options for experiences were limited and no contact with a rep when encountering questions, as the app did not respond in time. Small problems for a wonderful choice of holidays.

I think it's pricey considering its free to get in, so you're only paying for the transport. Would have been cheaper to get a taxi and have much longer there. Market itself is amazing!

Busy hotel; too small for the # of guests. Staff try their best, but couldn't get the kids booked on some activities. Aquapark great fun but water not the cleanest. Pool water is good though. Outdoor areas are showing their age. Room too small for 4 people, cupboards, drawers were falling apart. Food is good considering the scale. Evening kids entertainment very good, but insanely loud! Nearby beach is nice, spent a lot of time there. Transfer & flights great. TUI say hotel's a 4*; it's not.

Considering the market is free to get in, €108 with a discount is expensive The plys point is, you don't need to organise travel yourself Hippy market was great, but it's now too comersialised

Our trip to Hippy Market was brilliant! Fantastic experience and one of recommend. Great choice of stalls and keepsakes to take home. Val our guide was excellent. Our trip was the same day as the torrential rain in May so we were only in the market for 20 minutes before having to take shelter and find a coffee shop to dry off in! This is obviously no ones fault and no reflection on TUI but did dampen (no pun intended) the experience. The great news is because we missed a full day at the market my Daughter insists we rebook the same holiday next year and re-visit. We can’t wait!

Second visit to the Hippy Market, it is a same it has to be in the afternoon as it was really too hot to appreciate it. A welcome trip back to our hippy youth, lots of brilliant jewellery and clothes and the live music is a big bonus
