Die freie Zeit (1 Stunde) im Schmetterlingstal war sehr knapp bemesse, da hätte man gut noch min. 30min. mehr gebrauchen können und notfalls etwas weniger Aufenthaltszeit auch Chalki, aber mir ist klar, dass das auch abhängig ist von den Fahrzeiten der Fähre und daher nur bedingt änderbar. Insgesamt ein toller Ausflug, alles gut organisiert! Wir hätten allerdings 15min. mehr Zeit im Schmetterlingstal gehabt, wenn die Reiseleitung pünktlich gewesen wäre, so musste der Bus nochmal umdrehen, schade

Nous étions que des français à l excursion on nous mets un guide anglais. A la réservation il aurait dû préciser que sur île ce n étais pas que du plat beaucoup de montée. Et surtout à la vallée des papillons préciser qu il y avait des marches à monter. Je suis une personnes PMR qui marche avec bequille donc pas abordable du tout.

The timescale for the Butterfly Valley was not long enough to explore the different areas. It was extremely busy, which meant having to waste time queuing for the toilets and drinks. It would have been better to have done the Butterfly Valley as a separate trip because there were a lot of things to see. The Chalki trip was our favourite. It is a beautiful island and the people are lovely. We would have preferred a full day there in order to explore it more, such as going up to the monastery.

Sehr guter Guide, sehr gute Bustransfers und Organisation. Boot jedoch alt, wenig Platz an Deck, dadurch viele mit Seekrankheit. Eine Info zum Beispiel den Horizont zu betrachten gegen Seekrankheit und nicht aufs Handy zu schauen hätte sicher vielen geholfen anstatt nur Speitueten zu reichen.

Took this trip with my wife and daughter (5). We loved the butterfly valley stop, beautiful scenery and our daughter loved it. However boat crossing should have been cancelled, very windy day, multiple people were sick and a lady even passed out. My wife and daughter were crying and throwing up, feeling trapped and traumatised. Probably our last boat trip. Have to say all staff were amazing. Really looked after us. Once recovered, Chalki was wonderful and trip back was not as bad.

I loved both experiences. Butterfly valley was at the right time ( before other tourists arrived ) friends of ours struggled with the walk around though. The boat trip to Chalki island was very rough and lots of people had sea sick, maybe the rep that we got it from should of warned us as our friends had to get off the boat. Chalking island was so beautiful. The beach was awesome and Crystal clear sea ti swim in. We also found the food was great and cheaper than anywhere else we had eaten .

Insgesamt war es sehr schön. Nur war nicht klar beim Buchen, dass man mit einer öffentlichen Fähre fährt und nicht mit einem Ausflugsboot. Die Fähre ist nicht schön, sehr voll und sehr heiß. Außerdem kam mir der Aufenthalt im Butterfly Valley sehr kurz vor und dafür der Aufenthalt auf Chalki sehr lange. Man kommt erst sehr spät wieder im Hotel an. Da wäre es besser, früher am Morgen die Tour zu starten und dementsprechend früher am Abend ins Hotel zurückzukehren.

Das Tal der Schmetterlinge war schön. Leider war der Eintritt nicht inklusive, was man bei dem Preis erwarten könnte. Chalki war toll, leider war der Strand völlig überlaufen. Man hat uns gesagt, dass der Ausflug ca. 9 Stunden dauert- es waren aber 13 Stunden weil wir in Plimiri die ersten Frühs und die letzten Abends waren . Hätten wir gewusst wie viel Zeit man im Bus verbringt würden wir diesen Ausflug nicht mehr machen, wir haben nicht mal mehr das Abend buffet geschafft. Sehr schade!

Im Grossen und Ganzen eine ganz schöne Tour, und es sind beides Orte die man sehen sollte. - Schade fand ich, dass der Eintritt ins Butterfly Valley nicht im Preis inbegriffen war....das wurde uns nicht mitgeteilt, erst bei Buchungsbestätigung stand im Mail, dass der Eintritt nicht dabei ist. Das Boot nach Chalki schien uns ziemlich überlastet, es mussten zusätzliche Stühle in die Gänge gestellt werden damit alle Passagiere sitzen konnten. Waren 12. Std. unterwegs, 9-10 Std. haben wir erwartet.

Overall we enjoyed the trip. Having seen others advertised I would have expected more than 1hr at the Butterflies. Prior to departure we discovered a lower part which we did not have time to visit. The ferry to Chalki was old and far too hot, with too many people on board. Staff were abrupt. Island is lovely and we enjoyed the two beaches recommended. Coach journey back was longer than expected. Collection point was on a very busy main road. Escorts very helpful.

Butterfly-Valley: früh am Tag waren wir dort noch fast alleine. Erst bei der Abfahrt wurde es sehr voll. Das WC im örtlichen Café war nicht ok. Chalki: Die 5 Stunden Aufenthalt, kamen uns vorher lang vor, waren aber absolut angemessen. Wir haben die zur Verfügung stehende Zeit, mit Besichtigen und Schwimmen voll ausgenutzt. Chalki ist, aufgrund der sehr schönen Architektur der Häuser, der vielen farbenfroh Blumen, freundlichen Menschen und klaren Badebuchten einen Ausflug wert!

Schmetterling Village war schön zu sehen aber der Guide hat nichts weiter erzählt und war auch nicht weiter dabei, sowie auch bei der Insel. Max. hat Sie 15 Minuten im Bus gesprochen und auf der Insel selber hieß es kur nach rechts 10 Minuten zum Strand und nach links 10 Minuten zum Strand. Sind dann im Hafen geblieben und die Reiseleitung war nicht mehr zu sehen. Nicht zu empfehlen!

L’excursion proposée est tres sympa cependant le timing est trop serré. Nous n’avons pas pu aller au bout du parcours de la vallée des papillons. Nous avions le regard sur la montre constamment. De plus aucune traduction en français, notre guide ne parlait pas français et au vu du prix de l’excursion nous avons été déçu et nous n’étions pas les seuls.

Wycieczka ok, wszystko poszlo zgodnie z planem. Przeszlismy po rezerwacie motyli (oplata nie jest w pakiecie wycieczki) - zaleta byl przyjazd rano, kiedy nie bylo duzo ludzi. Wyspa Chalki malownicza. Jesli chodzi o opieke, cala rola przewodnika ograniczyla sie do kilku zdan o mijanych miejscach i planowanych atrakcjach oraz do poinformowania o czasie zbiórki w droge powrotna. Spokojnie mozna taki wyjazd zorganizowac samemu, jesli dojazd i samodzielne kupno biletów nie sa dla kogos problemem

Very disappointed about this trip. Was told a boat trip to the island. (The island was lovely). This was not a boat it was more like a shuttle ferry with no queuing system, cigarettes smoke everywhere, too many people on so I couldn’t even go outside. The rep sold us a boat trip not a shuttle ferry. 20 years I have book excursions with tui but this has changed my mind. The only enjoyable part of the trip was the beach. Was also told not a big walk but that it was up a massive hill.

Het was een leuke trip. De vlinders waren leuk, wel zware klim maar de moeite waard. Ook het spotten van krabben was erg leuk. De boot tocht was erg warm. Het was leuk , maar niet spectaculair. Te lang op het eiland. Geen uitleg van iets of zo, dat was best leuk geweest. Wist pas na het boeken dat de entree van de vlinder vallei er nog bij kwam. Tui begeleidster enthousiast in de bus,. Goede chauffeur. Doordat het een extreem warme dag was, was het fijn uitke.

Chalki is een leuk eiland echt een aanrader. Klein dorpje met leuke strandjes. Goed om een paar uur te vertoeven. Ook de vlindervallei is aardig vol ter zien. De negatieve punten zitten voor ons in de ferry tocht en de bus. De overtocht duurt ca 50 minuten. Dat in een vollen en snikhete boot vonden wij behoorlijk frustrerend. Ook de bus terug naar het hotel viel erg tegen. De rit duurde meer dan 2,5 uur doordat er veel stops waren

Fjärilsdalen var bra. Men båtturen över till Chalki var värsta på länge. Vi var lätt 100 personer för mycket på båten. Många mådde jätte dåligt. Inkl mig själv då jag haft svårt att vara instängd Fick nästan trampa mig fram och gjorde andra irriterande på mig då jag måste få luft. En plåtburk i 40 gr utan AC och över fullt. Tog ett dygn innan jag blev människa. Önskar gärna pengar tillbaka iallafall ö resan..

Chalki und Tal der Schmetterlinge sehr schön. Guide war nur Beiwerk, da wir beide Ausflüge auf eigene Faust und nur mit Zeitvorgabe gemacht haben. Insgesamt waren wir ca. 12 Stunden!! unterwegs. Der Busfahrer hat die ganze Zeit in sein Headset gesprochen. Das war nervig.

Ik zou de enquête graag invullen maar we zijn niet op excursie geweest. Blijkbaar stonden we op de verkeerde plaats te wachten. Dit was verkeerd gecommuniceerd. Wij stonden voor het hotel en niet aan de zijkant. Jullie vragen een ********** dan is het toch een kleine moeite om even te bellen of we er zijn. We stonden klaar. Ik vind dit heel jammer. Dag verpest en ons geld kwijt.

The Butterfly Valley was beautiful, although not suitable for those with mobility problems as it was a steep climb up sometimes uneven steps. Chalki Island is stunning. We visited the sandy beach, which provided the clearest waters to swim in. The harbour is very beautiful, with painted houses and some lovely restaurants. My only criticism is the boat ride to/from the island. That was stiflingly hot and felt as though we were herded in like cattle, although this is out of Tui's control.

Vlindervallei was erg mooi met heel veel vlinders (in juli)! Omdat je er vroeg bent nog niet zo druk en warmte viel daar ook mee door de schaduw van de vele bomen. Chalki is heerlijk rustig, komen niet zoveel toeristenboten aan. Lekker gegeten aan de haven, wat rondgewandeld maar erg warm. Ftenagia Beach opgezocht en wat een mooie fijne plek!! Daar heerlijk gelegen op gehuurde strandbedjes.

De vlindervallei was prachtig. Dit zou voor ons zeker nog een 30 tot 60 min langer mogen zijn. Chalki us een aangenaam en rustig eilandje. 5 uren vonden wij iets te lang om te vertoeven op het eiland. Dit mocht dus een uurtje korter. Wat meer uitleg over beide uitstappen zou fijner zijn geweest.

Tour zu lang mit 13h Gesamtdauer, davon 7h Transferzeit. mehr Zeit im Schmetterlingstal einplanen und weniger Zeit auf der Insel Chalki. Bestenfalls gar nicht erst beides miteinander kombinieren. Für Kinder nur bedingt geeignet.

Great day out , very tiring but well worth the money and Chalki is one of the most beautiful islands I've ever visited . The butterfly valley was also very beautiful and has improved since I last visited in July 1990 .Overall a great day out.

Butterfly valley was lovely. Chalki island was lovely but we didn’t look at the voucher after we booked it direct with TUI in the hotel. We had been in trying to find a boat trip with the TUI lady in hotel. We did not expect to be dumped on chalki island for 5 hours in extreme heat we were unable to get to beach so stayed in harbour. Thought we would be on a boat trip with a small swim stop. The Bus journey was really long. A very very long day 13 hours in total. Rep on island was very helpful.

Die Busfahrt zu dem Tal der Schmeterlinge war lang (1,5 Stunden) aber angenehm kühl im komfortablen Bus. Schade nur das die vordere Plätze reserviert waren. Und niemand drauf saß, den ganzen Weg. Gerade für Leute mit langen Beinen wären das die besten Plätze. Auf der Rückfahrt habe ich die Reiseleiterin gefragt ob ich mich darauf setzten kann, sie meinte zuerst dass die Plätze für noch jemanden vom Personal reserviert wären. Ich erklärte dass ich operierten Knie habe. Erst dann durfte ich hin.

Butterfly valley was wonderful but the ferry trip was dreadful! The seating area was vastly overcrowded with at least 25/people having to stand for the entire trip. The inside spaces were dirty and badly maintained with the only refreshments being available via a dispensing machine! Crew were miserable and non communitave.

Sehr gute Organisation und nette und informative Begleitung. Auch die Restaurant-Empfehlungen und Ermäßigungen waren gut. Die Bootsfahrt war grenzwertig. Das Schiff fuhr auf der Hinfahrt sehr schnell und es roch sehr nach Motorenöl, was zur Übelkeit führte. Das passte nicht so ganz zum TUI-Standard. Der Ausflug an sich war aber toll und eine super Kombi.

Butterfly sanctuary was beautiful, and shady so nice and cool. Chalki Island is breathtakingly beautiful and quiet with not too many tourists. The sandy beach on the other side of the island to the harbour is idyllic and the sea so nice to swim in. Prices in the bars and restaurants very reasonable too.

Das Boot war eine reine Katastrophe, überfüllt und beim Einstieg war immer ein riesen Gedränge. Die Fahrt dauert dich eine .knappe Stunde und weswegen war es absolut nicht lustig!

The guide was lovely, but it was NOT. A guided tour. She was on the couch and boat only. But did give us as much info as she could. Butter fly valley was good. Alot of steps and there is a good view from the top. Apparently. Sadly the last bit of path was closed so you couldn't see it. Very disappointing after climbing all the steps .The butterfly s where good and plentiful.

Nous avons apprécié l'excursion. Par contre, au vue du prix, nous aurions bien aimé que l'entrée de la vallée des papillons soit inclus dans le prix ainsi que le repas. C'est dommage !

Die Fähre war total überfüllt Vorstellung wenn etwaspassiert hast du keine Schanze zum überleben. Insel in allgemeinen nicht so schlecht leiderfür tui Ausflug keine deutsche reiseleitung. Preise auf der Insel waren super. Aber mit der Fähre müssen sie sich was überlegen kleinere Boote mehr Privatsphäre.

Schmetterlingstal voll ok Jedoch die Busfahrt zum Tal und dann zum Schiff und wieder retour, ist mehr als die Hälfte vom Ausflug. Der Busfahrer top Jedoch die Schiffsfahrt ist eine Frechheit Das Boot Mega Überfüllt älter Leute müssen stehen bzw. an irgendwelchen Stufen am Boden Sitzen Preis Leistung nicht ok Nicht zu empfehlen

Die Abholung mit einem völlig überfülltem Bus war weniger schön, keine Sitzplätze für drei Personen. Dies hat weder den Fahrer noch den Guide interessiert. Sicherheit war nicht vorhanden, da wir zu dritt auf einem zweier Sitz (zwei Erwachsene und ein elf jähriges Kind) gequetscht saßen. Es war einfach nur Massenabfertigung und auch die Fahrt mit dem überfüllten Boot war anstrengend und zu warm. Butterfly Valley war OK aber anstrengend mit Treppen hoch.

Pas de ochtend zelf werd duidelijk dat we 5u op het eiland zouden vertoeven. Dit zou beter al duidelijker gecommuniceerd worden bij het boeken, want dit is vrij lang. Hoewel het eiland mooi is en het eten lekker, zou een 3 uurtjes ter plekke voldiende zijn, waardoor je op een fijner uur terug bent. Vlindervallei zeer fijn en mooi. De moeite waard.

De tijd bij de vlindervallei is veel te kort, geen tijd om helemaal naar boven te lopen en iets te drinken aangezien het op de terugweg naar beneden zo druk is met mensen die naar boven willen. Gids sprak slecht Engels. Je betaald eigenlijk alleen maar voor de transfer

Noutopaikasta lähti lähes samanaikaisesti useita busseja ja iso määrä matkustajia, mikä aiheutti sekaannusta. Olisi hyvä jos bussin numeron voisi tietää etukäteen, tai bussin ikkunassa olisi numeron lisäksi retken nimi. Bussikuski oli muuten hyvä, mutta paluumatkalla selvästi liian väsynyt ja tämä vaikutti ajamiseen.

Das Schmetterlingstal ist toll. Wir waren Vormittags da und die Schmetterlinge sehr aktiv. Chalki ist ein schöner kleiner Ort (Ein lebendig gewordenes Klischee, wie man sich eine griechische Insel vorstellt!) wo man sehr gut runter kommen kann. Wer gerne badet sollte unbedingt seine Badesachen mitbringen. Super klares Wasser!

We waren vroeg in de Vlindervallei, dus het was niet zo druk. Er vlogen aardig wat vlinders rond of ze zaten op een blad. Je moest veel klimmen. We zijn niet helemaal naar boven gegaan; je moest dezelfde weg terug naar beneden. Door de bebossing liep je in de schaduw. Daarna vaarden we met een snelle boot naar Chalki. Een leuk kleurig eiland. We hebben geluncht. Omdat we er 5 uur verbleven, konden we naar het strand. Dat was een behoorlijke klim. Er waren meer stranden, maar die waren te ver.

Superb day trip encompassing the beautiful butterfly valley and trip to Chalki Island. The trip provided an excellent opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Rhodes and its environs. Food was great at Chalki harbour and had wonderful time at the beach there with swimming in the sea. Really felt we'd had a great day out.

Vlindertuin was mooi maar veel te kort. De bus kwam ins 20 minuten te laat ophalen! Dit gaat af van het bezoek aan de vlindertuin. We kwamen 5 minuten te laat door drukte. Er was niet gebeld( voor hetzelfde geld was er iets ernstigs gebeurd!!!) De " hoofden" zijn kennelijk niet geteld en later hoorden we van de Griekse ehbo post dat deze gids al vaker mensen achterliet. Wij vinden dit ONVERANTWOORDELIJK GEDRAG.Daarom vinden wij het onverteerbaar!!

Resan var för lång. Det står att den är 8 h men i själva verket var den nästan 12 h vilket är för mycket. Tiden i Fjärilsdalen var för kort och tiden på ön för lång. Om ni ärligen talar om hur lång resan i verkligheten är så blir folk mindre besvikna. Ärlighet varar längst. I övrigt hade vi en mycket bra vistelse på Rhodos så den här trippen var enda smolket i glädjebägaren.

De vlindervallei is heel mooi maar je moet er op het juiste moment zijn om de vlinders te zien. Ook zou er op voorhand bij het boeken (voor het afrekenen)al vermeld moeten worden dat het eigenlijk nachtvlinders zijn en dat de entree voor de vlindervallei appart nog bij te betalen is. Chalki is heel mooi.

It was a really good day with good timings and a lovely tour guide and driver. Only issue was we were advised to bring our passports with us which I dont think was needed and just made us a little anxious leaving our stuff when swimming.
