I thought the day worked out really well the organisation was excellent. We had free time to use as we liked at the park the guide offered to booked any extra optional trips for us, we also had a choice of what time we wanted to leave. We didn't want to do the wet events in the park but there was so much to see and do without getting wet. A quality day out for all ages, also visually a pretty place to visit. Would recommend this trip.

Seeing the reviews at first I was a bit anxious on how the day will go but after speaking with the hotel rep, I felt a bit more at ease and the reviews may be for other packages. VIP package made sure it was stress free. Transfers to and from the park were reliable with a guide (from Xcaret) and driver on board to give you info and if you were a TUI customer explained your package. Buffet was decent and there was plenty of choice. It is a long day so make sure you are prepped for it.

We booked the entrance and transport only and booked our own experiences there. It’s an absolutely fabulous day with everything and more you could want ! We won’t forget this trip as it exceeded our expectations, beautiful birds, sealife, beach, Mayan show, evening show… it’s wonderful. We were picked up at 8.05 and stayed till the last bus at 9.40pm.. we loved it. Only downside food is outrageously expensive as we didn’t have it included, so take some with you.

The incredibly early start completely ruined this experience. When on holiday, it is completely unfair to find out that you have to wake up at 6am to be able to go on our booked excursion. It was my birthday and I was extremely tired and it ruined the entire experience and we had to leave early and miss the shows and alot of time so we did not get to properly enjoy Xcarat as we should have done. This factor alone ruined my birthday which we travelled to Mexico for so what was the point? Terrible

The only way to improve it would be if I saw thoes pesky panthers or crocs. Minus that ...nothing! it was the absolute best experience I've ever had on holiday I would go back time and again only I'd choose to stay there & take lots more money so I could go on more of the many experiences offered.

River was good but way too busy. Food was difficult to get, very busy. Huge information overload from guide causing confusion. We bought extra activities because of confusion thus leaving very little time for other park activities. The actual park was great. The show was very overrated, all very much the same all the way through. Return coach organisation at the end was very poor.

The park is definitely worth seeing but the ticket is absolutely overpriced for what you get. You have also to count that you can't visit the whole park in a day and that a lot of water activities have to be paid extra. The evening show at 19pm is a must see and is outstanding! The food in the restaurant is the classic buffet you find also at your resort: not too bad and not too good.

Very nice park to big for one day though need at least two to see it properly.Had a problem with the Underground River led to believe it was ok for non swimmers but found it quite daunting in the areas without the rope attached to the wall to help you navigate.The Mexican Experience Show at the end of the night was definitely the best part of the day.

There’s not a lot of food choices there. In the evening it’s either an expensive buffet around $40 per person which is ridiculous and we didn’t want to pay or snacks like popcorn and candy floss. They should have something like taco stands so people have more options. The park is incredible though so beautiful

Really nice full day out. Although we did find it quite expensive, by the time we paid to get in, an activity and food/drinks it was £500 for 1 day for 2 people. Was quite annoyed that the bus picked us up at 7am, we picked up from 2 other hotels on the way and arrived at 8.30...An hour and a half for what is only 15 mins by taxi. Also we had to print off our ticket otherwise it would take an extra 10mins to sort out our booking, which is meant to be an eco friendly park!!???

The caves swim was really good but was so busy that it felt too crowded at times ,the jungle trail was good . Food really expensive .3,600 pesos for 4 people to eat at buffet . Evening show was ok ,so hot in theatre and was about Mexican culture so unless you enjoy that sort of thing get the early transport back at 4pm .

Unable to hear what the guide said on the bus, poor microphone. lack of indoor air conditioned spaces to explore, really needed in august. wait for evening show too long, lots of hanging around and being stopped from seeing folklore museum/church from 5pm because dinner show guests are entering arena- why?Really poor communication, all park staff announcing in Spanish only. Given 3 different times for our arena entrance. Penned in like cattle waiting to go in. Sea trek was in a lagoon - misled.

Xcaret is great, a mixture of lots of different things throughout the day all in one place. It is a little crowded on the river and the show was quite late, but otherwise would without a doubt recommend. Tui transport was ridiculous, pick up at 9, by the time you drop everyone off at xsenses, xplor and get into the park it’s around 11, then the pick up is either 15.45 or 21.45, so a long day all in as it’s definitely not worth the money for around 4 hrs once you’ve got lockers and lunch sorted.

Really enjoyed the swim along the underground river, the aviary was amazing and the show at the end of the day was outstanding. It was a shame some animals had been moved due to their enclosures being redone. Overall an amazing place, well worth a visit, pity we couldn't see more of it due to a thunder storm and torrential downpour which lasted an hour .

The Adrenaline and the Parachute activities are amazing. The 2 captains to the Adrenaline activity are the best Pablo and Tommy their names, experienced boat drivers, they are creating a spectacular show on the water. The parachute instructors are great too, sorry that I don’t remember their names ?? but I would like to say a massive thank you for the amazing experience offered. The Maya village and the night show is something that you don’t find in other parts of the world! Viva Mexico!

The park is well maintained but it is hugely over priced. You need to pay for a lot on top of the park ticket which makes it a very expensive day. Only 2 time options for the return transfer, so if you didn’t want to leave at 4pm, you had to wait until 9:30pm.

We love the Xcharet park, it’s beautiful and has some lovely experiences. We found it to be extremely busy which did impact our experience, the river swims were crowded and meant you couldn’t fully enjoy it. It is also extremely expensive and you are constantly being asked to pay more. $100 to swim with dolphins and then you get there and certain interactions are another $25-30! Staff in the restaurants are also very pushy to the point of aggressive with tips.

The park is amazing. Lots to do, extra activities are amazing. We did the speed boat and the Sea Trek. Everywhere was beautifully clean. Food options were plentiful. Information given on coach was very helpful. We paid $39 each for buffet which was self service. We gave a tip of $5 at the end and was treated appallingly for it. Left a bad taste but only reflective of that one staff member. All other staff were very friendly.

The trip in itself was great, the park is fantastic with lots to do. But, it is a long day and really to fill it you need to pay for extra activities on top of the entrance fee. We booked the plus tour which meant we got a meal included along with 1 beer and unlimited soft drinks with the meal. Outside of that though additional drinks and snacks were incredibly overpriced. I highly recommend the underground river swim, it was refreshing and not as difficult as it sounds.

The final show was good. The signage in the park was not great and the option to use lockers for bags was only available at the start which was a pain. I also felt the VIP pass was very limited as discount was only on a couple of items and not the things we wanted. You need to make this clearer.

So our time at Xcaret was great, we did so many amazing activities and the staff at the park were so lovely - you couldn’t fault them. However, TUI didn’t tell us we would be paying extra to do these activities so we ended up pay nearly £700 overall - for both the TUI “tour” and the park activities. When I go on a tour I expect to be helped but our guide was rude at times and practically said “off you go” and just left us. If we were to go back we’d just buy the park tickets and not the tour.

We originally paid for basic which allows you only entry into the park. If you go the next level up you get meal included. There are 3 rivers apparently but didn't realise until afterwards. I think this needs to be advertised and clearly described. There is lots of walking so where comfortable footwear. We paid a combination deal which was an activity and a meal at the evening show.

The park is huge and there is so much to do, an overview of everything available prior to going in would have been helpful, or a handheld map so we could see what different sections there are. We didn't realise that there were 3 underground rivers and we missed several things because we did not realise all things available and all areas. Staff were very helpful.

XCARET was a lovely place and we have been here before, the journey there took 1 1/2 hours which was a little disappointing. I will state that the TUI app is not very helpful, untimely responses with no answers to questions. Lots of extra to but when you get in the park. You need to take lots of extra money to do the ‘fun’ extra activities. Food options were good. We upgraded to get the meal option. I liked the fact that there was an option of two times to leave. That meant that we could see the evening show if we wanted and didn’t feel that we missed out on anything due to having to go before we were ready.

We booked the VIP tour, mainly because this included a 50% discount on photo packages and priority seating during the show, neither of these were included according to the staff there. We therefore did not purchase the photo package as this was now an additional $150 (US) on top of the hundreds of pounds we paid for the day, this was a big disappointment. The lack of seating we believed we had also caused great difficulties but I haven't got enough space to explain here...

The park was beautiful and the different swimming and scuba experiences were out of this world. I loved learning about the Mexican heritage and the show at the end of the evening was phenomenal. The guide helped us to upgrade our ticket. However, the coach was over half an hour late picking us up and we didn’t get to the park until mid day which meant there was so much we didn’t get to do or see at the park, it would have been much better if we had an early pick up tp get to the park at opening.

As a park the place is great for families. However we visited as a couple, and we knew what to expect to some extent, but we don’t believe the place lived up to the hype it seems to get. The underground rivers were brilliant, and certain parts of the park were too. But to do any activities you have to pay extortionate prices, that’s after you’ve already splashed out £100 or so each just to get there. So I would recommend going to experience it for yourself, but I won’t be rushing back myself.

The coach arrived 40 mins late which was very annoying when we got our family with 2 children organised for 8.20 am. The photos are a rip off at the resort especially as you can't take your own photos when swimming with the dphins. Overall the park was a very expensive day out.

The description was not clear, literally nothing is included in the entry. We doubled the cost as we paid for the experiences. Food prices are rediculous! Photo prices are crazy ! Take your own food/snack drinks and towels. It will save a fortune. You need water shoes, waterproof phone cases - buy them beforehand as the park is so overpriced. Such an expensive place for a family We did have a great day though, would have been better with this information beforehand ????

The park is amazing with so much to see and do. My children looked seeing all the animals and swimming in the sea and Contes. The show at the end is good for the first half, the the second half featuring all the music from the different parts of Mexico did go on a little bit for me.

BUT: Once dropped off at the Xcaret Park it is quite confusing (not knowing where to go or come xx what is included in your package) There is not enough time on the park (due to the coach pick up at 16.00pm). We didn’t have time to eat all day and we only booked ‘two’ on-site attractions

The park itself is excellent. There is a great mix of things to do. The underground rivers are a lot of fun but remember to get a bag to put your shoes and clothes in. You can pick this up at the end.. We paid extra for the Snuba diving experience which was fantastic, and the meal with the show which was a great experience. If you want to explore the Xcaret parks I wouldn’t recommend staying at planet Hollywood. It took 3 hours to get there and 2 to get back.

We paid a lot of money for this trip only to find when you get in the park ,pretty much all activities you have to pay extra , these also seemed over priced. On arrival it was extremely chaotic, which is concerning when you have kids to watch out for. The Rep / Guide seemed only interested in trying to sell us the other activities. Good transfers to and from hotel. The guide on the way to the trip kept us well informed. The park staff were really good. They even helped reunite my son with his lost iPhone. The buffet restaurant staff were really friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. There were plenty of places to refill out water bottles.

Xcaret is an incredible place to visit, there are animals to see (apart from iguanas!) Monkeys, Dolphins, Tapir, Flamingos, Jaguars & many more! There are also a bunch of adventure-type things to do - we did a dive walk with stingrays - you walk on the bottom of the pool with a spacesuit-type helmet on and you can meet stingrays and other fish! it was incredible! And of course, the show at the end of the night is absolutely beautiful - the stories, dancing, singing - absolutely captivating!

This was an awesome trip. We were a little confused at the start as the bus takes two trips at once. One to Xplore and the other to Xcaret. Make sure you get off at the right place otherwise your knackered!!!

Transfers were on time going and returning to the hotel. It was good to have the option of leaving the park at 4.30pm or staying for the nighttime show and leaving at 9.30pm. Loads to see and do. Absolutely beautiful clean park. Although it was at capacity when we visited, we got to see/do everything we wanted to with no waiting around. Lots of shaded areas which were much needed in the heat. An enjoyable family day out.

We were told to be in lobby for 6.45 we waited and waited we eventually got on coach at 9.10. Park was beautiful but expensive.

Staff at Xcaret are amazing and pick up and drop off was well organised. Having no rep at our hotel caused an issue as the paperwork for the trip needed printed off. Thankfully, the hotel staff assisted with that but other hotels may not be as accommodating.

The park was fantastic - the underground river and Xcaret show were particular highlights. The only issue we had is that our return transport arrangements changed and we weren’t communicated that properly, as well being given very poor directions as to which new bus to take by the staff outside the park, almost leading to us losing the bus. Another issue was that the ticket types were not explained very well so we had to upgrade from the basic package we bought via TUI.

The price of some of the extras in the park are a little expensive for example we done the dolphins at £200 and then was asked to pay another £200 for the photos and not allowed to take photos during swimming with dolphins

Xcaret was perfect from start to finish, it was wonderful sunny weather to swim along the relaxing river. I paid extra for the snorkelling which was beautiful, Our guide Zack who took us through the scenic Caribbean sea where we encountered fishes, turtles and stingrays. The xpectacular was immaculate, It was lovely to see the full culture of Mexican music, history and dancing galore. Will return again one day, compliments to all the staff for giving us a delightful time.

We were a little disappointed that the excursion fee only included park entry and coach transfer as the activities were very expensive. We really wanted to do the dolphin experience but at around £120 each we just couldn't afford it. We walked round the park in a couple of hours leaving the rest of the day to hang around the beach so the day was too long for us. (picked up at 7:30am, return pick up at the park was 4:30 but didn't get back to hotel until 6:20) so nearly a 12 hour day.

Our first trip here. Very well organised. We scanned the qr code but gave up as it took so long to download. There are plenty of maps around which we also took a photo of one. We didn’t do any of the activities, just walked round. Stopped for something to drink, the cups hold about 2 pints and my sister ordered a gin and tonic, so keep that in mind. We watched the horse display, but people get there early to get a seat. Once it finished we followed everyone else to watch the show.

We paid 400 £ for two adult and one 5 year old child for Plus admission. In this price you have locker , mask for water activities and dinner with one alcoholic drink and unlimited soft drinks (one or two with dinner then water if you have your bottle). Lots of attraction you need paid extra . Activity with dolphins 120USD per person no matter how old then they offer you photos for 140usd for 10 photos ! It is great place but some attractions are overpriced. Great show at the end of the day

I done a group booking family of 5! Because me & my partner wasn’t doing the dolphin experience we add to have separate transfer which I thought was shocking my 8 yr old wasn’t impressed doesn’t make sense as we were all going there another from & back the same hotel

Loved all of it. Only thing is we meandered through the water caves but did not have money at the other end snd we were thirsty it was hard to enjoy the beach part. Rest of it was amazing.

Really enjoyed the park however the pick up times were too far apart and the early pick up time was too early as only gave you around 5 hours in the park once you had gotten ready etc.
