What to expect
Peel back the layers of Serbia’s history on this three-and-a-half-hour excursion. You’ll visit the Krusedol Monastery, then take a guided tour of the city of Novi Sad. It’s a 45-minute drive to the monastery. It’s stashed away among the ancient forests of Mount Fruska Gora, and during your visit, you’ll get to see its Baroque architecture which dates back to the 15th century. Then you’ll drive to Novi Sad, stopping for a drink at a restaurant along the way. On your city sightseeing tour – both on foot and by bus – keep your eyes peeled for landmarks like the mighty Petrovaradin Fortress and Zmaj Jovina, a long pedestrian walkway lined with cafés, shops and restaurants.
