What to expect
A day tour perfect for nature lovers! Hiking, boat riding, rapid shooting, aborigine's village visit, jungle trekking, and wildlife viewing are just some of the activities included in the tour package. This park is known for being one of the best eco-tourism spots in the whole country.
The Taman Negara National Park covers an area of more than 1 million acres. It has several sections belonging to the Malaysian states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang. The government does not allow commercial logging in this area and as a result, you will find lush green rainforest areas in the area because it’s well-protected by the government. The park also is home to the highest peninsular peak, Gunung Tahan, which stands at 2187 m above sea level.
Included in the tour package are permits and entrance fees for the Taman Negara Park, canopy walk, and rapid shooting. Lunch is also included in the day tour package which will be at the Floating Restaurant located inside the park.
Jungle Trekking, A trek through the real inner part of the jungle shall be the highlight of this activity. The trek is about 1.5 to 3 km in the distance which will end at Bukit Teresek. There you might see exotic animal species like the Red Jungle-fowl which is a bird endemic to the park.
Canopy Walk, Many of our guests also take the canopy walk which is one of the longest in the world at 500 meters. It is about 40 meters above ground which you can cross 11 bridges and 10 platforms to stop and rest or take pictures of the jungle.
Visiting Orang Asli, Orang Asli of the Batek is a native community living inside the Teman Negara National Park. With a licensed guide, you can experience their culture and observe the semi-traditional life they lead. You will see how hunter-gatherers live.
