Rafting difficulty: Class 3. Suitable for adventurous beginners. Some physical activity is required
Rafters on Class 3 rivers must be at least 12 years old and weigh a minimum of 90 lb/41 kg
Minors (under age 18) must be accompanied by an adult on the river
The rafts can accommodate 6 passengers. Raft configuration is determined by raft guides daily based on overall group size. While best efforts are made to keep groups together in same raft, due to logistics, this cannot be guaranteed
This tour operates in all weather conditions, rain or shine
The local operator reserves the right to cancel with full refund or alter any trip and/or substitute a different river or river section at their discretion
If the minimum of passengers is not reached, the tour will be cancelled and you will be offered a refund or reschedule
This trip is typically 4 hours round-trip (including 1.5 hours on water time) although please note that trip durations are approximate and are subject to variations due to traffic conditions
Departure time is in Alberta Mountain time, please ensure to adjust your watch accordingly
You will leave all your belongings on the bus while on the river and the bus will meet you at the river take-out
While the best effort is made to keep groups together in the same raft, due to logistics, this cannot be guaranteed
Please be ready with your swimsuit on under your normal street clothes to make the change process easier once down by the river
If the weather is cold or stormy bring extra clothing (fleece or wool) to wear under your paddle jacket
A towel and warm clothing for afterward, some water and a snack to enjoy after the trip
