What to expect

Discover street art in Munich on this 3.5-hour private bike tour.

When you look at how tidy and chic Munich is today, it’s hard to imagine that it was here where the graffiti movement in Germany got its first foothold back in the 1980s.

The first pieces, the first end-to-end painted train (whole train), and the first Hall of Fame were created right here, with many of those writers still active today! On this tour, you will not only see some works created by the “old masters” who shaped this culture but also by up-and-coming new street artists.

Itinerary: the first leg of this colorful cycle tour leads you along the Isar river far from the tourist crowds to Giesing, a former working-class neighborhood. From there, you head to the slaughterhouse district (Schlachthofviertel) where you have a break in a boat on a railway bridge.
