Escape from the city and experience the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver and Whistler as you travel from the scenic coastline of Howe Sound fjord to the lush, forested peaks of the Coast Mountains.
Get ready to tour the picturesque seaside village of Horseshoe Bay and gaze out over ever-changing landscapes as you travel along the breath-taking Sea to Sky Highway, with a scenic stop at the Shannon Falls.
Your next stop is the Sea to Sky Gondola. After a 10-minute ride to the top of Habrich Ridge, your views change dramatically, rising above the towering canopy of a coastal rainforest and upward above Howe Sound and the neighboring mountains. Spend your free time at the top.
You'll visit the quaint town of Squamish, considered an outdoor paradise for climbers and backcountry adventurers, and offers astonishing views of the mountains and water.
Then, you'll head off to Whistler, taking in the views of the Tantalus Glacier and Nita Lake en route. This world-famous ski resort is at the base of the Whistler-Blackcomb Mountains and hosted many 2010 Olympic outdoor sporting events. You'll spend your time exploring the eclectic downtown shops and cafes, hiking along nature trails and breathing in the fresh mountain air.
As you make your way back to Vancouver, mountains will give way to ocean as the coach winds downwards from towering peaks through rugged coastline to metropolitan cityscapes.
