What to expect
Adrenaline-fuelled adventure is the name of the game on this thrilling session. Carve through warm, azure Atlantic waters on your awesomely powerful jet-propelled craft -on what can be either a 30-minute, one or two-hour session.The waters off Sal are tailor-made for water sports – they're beautifully clean and warm. You'll charge down Santa Maria's gorgeous coastline, spewing up a stream of water in your wake. There's 8km of beachfront at this spot, so you have plenty of coastline to play with – including exploring the stunning Murdeira Bay.If you've never been on a jet ski before, you're in for a real treat – and these tropical waters are the perfect place to really open up the throttle.

It was booked for myself 66yrs old, and my daughter, picked up on time when we got there friendly greeting and then given safety instructions. When l saw the jet ski l knew it was too big and powerful for me so l went with the instructor my daughter by herself, it was great. When we got back there were photos taken and put on computer for us to see, some very good ones and reasonable prices €20for all pictures which get sent to email

A brilliant experience and thoroughly enjoyed it. We booked for 1 hour which included going out for 30 minutes with a guide and then we had some free time but with the guide not far away. There was someone taking photos which were good and very reasonable. Wore a wet suit and as was a bit windy and you get rather wet with all the spray. Also had life jacket, in case we fell in!. Overall would highly recommend.

It was my first time in Cape Verde and jet skiing, both fantastic. I must say a few words about Zack the TUI guy who picked me up, what a guy, very friendly and informative, he picked me up a rickety old land rover, he was a local lad, so friendly and informative about the history of the region. On our return journey he gave me a bonus tour of the Salt Flats and the processes that take place! What a guy, would love you to give him a big pat on the back.....

Did 30min as taster that was about right. Guide was very good supervising but you’re restricted on what you can do so suggest not for experienced people but great as taster if you’ve not jet skied before

Easy to book it through the app, good value with discount goes right way :) Team at jet ski were very welcoming and knowledgeable- whole introduction went smooth and experience itself was absolutely amazing - loved every minute of 1hr booked with highlight of seeing dolphins swimming next to us! Highly recommend-5 stars!

A great experience, good communication, if you love a thrill of going fast and want to see such a beautiful island then this is definitely the experience for you. It’s around 15 euros currently for photos which a local lad takes and they money goes directly to him and they are such great pics every body is friendly and whole experience is great fully recommend

We did a 1 hr session and it was just right for two who’d done it once before. 30 mins of running around getting used to the jet ski then a 15 min up and then back down the coast which was a bit choppy but great fun for the driver. Guide was happy to go as fast as you could so no regrets on speed there!

I enjoyed the jet ski experience - particularly when left to zoom around privately. But the sea was extremely ‘choppy’ and the instructor was moving a full speed which was too much for me to keep up.

I have never tried Jet Skiing before and it was a brilliant experience but you need to be physically fit to enjoy it properly, getting it up to full-speed required leg and arm and grip, muscles were sore for a few days but I would do.it again. 30 min is enough you are pleased to.get off ofter 30 min, would recommend just 1 person per jet Ski well worth the money

Excellent fun. Pick up on time. Safety and security Briefing. Guide helpful and polite but went a little fast and sometimes struggled to keep up with him. Dolphins and sharks definitely a bonus. Overall great fun.

For first time riders it was a lot of fun and the instructors were very clear and helpful on safety and how to operate the jet ski. Only downside is that we were not made aware that having a wet suit is recommended over standard bathing gear. Wet suits were provided thankfully without charge but if we knew beforehand we may have bought our own. Also the jet ski staff advised against wearing swim shoes but the website suggested it was an option.

The people are lovely, the equipment is clean and tidy. The only issue is that, in reality there’s not much to see on the tour and playing on your own (you can’t get any where near each other for safety reasons, which is fair enough) is fun to a point, but 30 minutes is more than enough before you start to get a little bored.

Safety first. A great experience with knowledgeable guides. The first 30 minutes was a run up the coast and back and then 30 minutes play. The safety brief was spot on and the safety of the participants was obviously the focus. Novice or intermediate it’s well worth the experience. Defo recommended

As a family it was our first time on jet ski’s. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. My 15 year old son was in his element. We did the 1 hour trip which was enough for us. All the staff were friendly & we felt safe at all times. I would definitely do this again.

The weather on the day was crazy, unless you have been riding jet ski’s for a long time anyone would have found this difficult, it should tell you on the advert that this will be two hours in open rough sea getting slashed with sea water in your eyes and having a belly full of the north Atlantic ocean only to be told when you complain that the answer to your problem will be solved if you go faster. Also my shorts ripped which was not great and the phalus was exposed. The guide was great though!

Our first time jet skiing. Such good fun! Really fast! We booked for an hour. 30 minutes along the coast with the instructor and 30 minutes free time. Clear instruction. Well supervised. Well worth it.

Overall the experience was amazing and so were the instructors, we had a problem with the tui tickets as the wrong time was put on them but our tui rep and the people at the jet ski company went out there way to fit us in later on in the day, as we missed the pick up time due to the ticket issue.

This also included the 3 course meal which was also fantastic…. Couldn’t fault anything other than we were tired on our return!!
