What to expect

Impressive landscapes and adrenaline-pumping adventure are the name of the game in this River Pacuare rafting excursion. During the 30-kilometre journey, you'll float past mountains, through canyons and past an indigenous reserve.

The fun kicks off at Siquirres where you'll fuel up on breakfast and receive a short safety briefing. Once you've been taught the basics, you'll don your life jacket, hop onto a raft and enjoy the cool waters. Test your new skills and gain confidence for the first few kilometres, before picking up the pace later on. With over 52 rapids, few rivers in the world can offer you such an experience.

You can't miss the Huacas waterfall with its 45-metre dramatic drop. Later on, you'll reach a calmer part of the river where you can rest and enjoy some wildlife spotting before the route comes to an end. Back at the starting point, there are facilities for you to shower and change. Then, tuck into lunch and enjoy some drinks in the garden.
