What to expect

You will be picked up from your hotel in Amman with your private leisure vehicle and English-Speaking Driver who doubles up as your guide to start your private tour with a panoramic visit of the city of Amman downtown market and city center with its traditional markets “souks” as well as the Roman Theater. You will have a beautiful view point of the city from the Citadel and continue to visit King Abdullah Mosque; it is one of the most famous and most recognizable structures in Amman. It can house up to 3000 worshippers. The cavernous, octagonal prayer hall is capped by a magnificent blue dome 35 meters in diameter, decorated with “Qur'anic” inscriptions. This is the only mosque in Amman that openly welcomes non-Muslim visitors. Free time to pray then proceed with your pilgrimage tour. To complete your Islamic tour, visit the “Sahaba Shrines” meaning (Maqamat) in Arabic, this visit is a must. “Sahaba” is the Arabic word for the companions of the Prophet Mohammad. The “Sahaba Shrines” sits on the hills of the Jordan Valley and belongs to five of the companions. Start by visiting the “Shrine of Abu Ubaydah Amir ibn Al Jarrah”, and then proceed to visit the “Shrines of Muadh ibn Jabal, Shurhabil ibn Hasana, Amr ibn Abi Waqqas, and Dhiraar bin Al-Azwar”.
